During the contentious 2012 Redistricting Commission Hearing in Koreatown, Bai was the focus of allegations involving "Strong-armed Contributions" by activists, as exampled in the video comments below by Jimmy Chai. As a side note, the lawsuit against the 2012 Redistricting Commission's redrawing of council district boundaries, is still working its way through the Appeal Process.

Thus, we whole-heartedly join along with "The Old Gray Hag on Spring Street's" attempt to reconnect with its remaining readers and offer up our own "Letter Brands" of those elected by the Special Interest's largess---Scott Johnson. 

1. "ee" for Mayor Eric Garcetti:

This refers to the "ee" in our most recent "Gar-Soft-ee" branding of the Rhodes Scholar's proclivities for middle-ground softness when it comes to taking a hard stance on a specific policy issue, as highlighted this past weekend in a Times story on "Gar-Soft-ee's" absence of stance on President Obama's Pacific Trade Pact.

2. "B" for CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar:

With no apologies to the UC Berkeley Graduate (who happen to attend Princeton University), before getting his Law Degree from UCLA, "B" does not stand for his GPA or his Boyle Heights (soon to be Hill Drive in Eagle Rock) home. In political and personal reality, "B" stands for B-E-T-R-A-Y-A-L as denoted by his latest acts of communal betrayal regarding Hazard Park and his stance on billboards.

3. "dD" for City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson:

Regular observers of the normal trice-weekly shows of the Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee under the John Ferrraro Clowncil Chambers Big Top, will readily agree with our letter branding of the reigning "diminutive Dictator" ......., who's not running for mayor.   

4. "AB" for City Attorney Mike Feuer:

If you thought we were going "Gar-Soft-ee" on our "AB" letter branding of the former discount client of "Private Citizen, Political Consultant  John Shallman", rest assure that our "AB-109" branding of the co-author of the state legislation which is one of the root reasons for LA's recent crime rate increase, is not one you want bestowed upon your political self.

5. "U" for City Controller Ron Galperin:

Some of us in our less-mature, educational youth were given this "U"-branding for being uncooperative in executing our stated assignments. In that spirit, we must brand first term City Controller Ron Galperin with a "U" for his uncooperative follow through, in conducting a promised audit on the CD-14 CLARTS Amenities Fund. In lieu of recent indictments involving the Chicana Services Action Non-Profit (who used public money for a certain City Councilman 2011 Campaign Fundraiser), Mr. Galperin would find it prudent to audit allocations from CLARTS to various "Connected Non-Profits" to insure that funds were properly dispensed.

Ryu (it was supposed to be Andrew Wastall before he made a mess of my Redistricting/Partitioning of the Spoils Scheme). Councilman-elect Ryu won a hard fought (what happens in Backrooms, stays in Backrooms) and historic victory (this is the first time Koreatown defied its "Dear Leader") that will enhance the diverse (haha!!) make up of the City Council (its Central Committee damn it!!). I am looking forward to working (ie. you work for me) with the Councilman-elect (F&%#!! This repugnant Act of Democracy shall not stand!!)  and putting his energy and can-do (as I decree) spirit to use serving the residents of the fourth council district (whoops!! Meant to say "campaign contributing developers of CD 4, but "Mini Amin" digress) and our great city (as I see fit).

Great Super Bowl Sunday to all as our exceptional country's annual celebration of Alpha Manhood takes place this afternoon with the Seattle Pigeons (Seahawks) taking on the Denver Donkeys (Broncos) (** please note the mindset of rabid Rams Fan here) in the 49th Edition of the NFL Championship Game creation of the late Commissioner Pete Rozelle. 

Since 2008, its been an annual bloggin tradition to place odds on where CD 14 City Clowncil Central Committee Member Jose Huizar would choose to watch the Super Bowl. This act of bloggin satire was born out of a mystical CD 14 Political Folktale, involving the "Dear Charro, Princeton Graduate" flying to Miami, Florida to watch the game as the guest of the Fifteen Group. ( the owners of the Historic Boyle Heights Wyvernwood Apartment Complex). Thus a bloggin tradition continues.

In 2014, the "Super Bowl with Huizzy Contest" has evolve, much like the current CD 14 Officeholder's "Political State of Being" ( or recent acts of political self-preservation), into a Downtown-centric endeavor. With no apologies to the rest of CD 14, east of the LA River, your chances of hosting a "Super Bowl with Huizzy" are about as good as former Deputy Chief of Staff Francine Godoy being the official hostess of today's festivities (** with one possible exception forthcoming).

Thus with no further bloggin banter, we bring you our finalists ( with odds attached) for the 2014 Edition of "Super Bowl with Huizzy", with Special Guest Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson.

1. A Super Bowl Viewing Dialog and its impact on Downtown with the Editorial Board of the Downtown News and Huizzy: (100-1). 

The Downtown Weekly of Record has been effusive with objective praise over the likes of Downtown CD 14 Clowncil Central Committee Member Huizar's various initiatives of late. But the biting musings of its Editor and reigning "Scribe of Wit" Jon Regardie, may not get the odds of this potential Super Bowl gathering into double-digits.

When contacted about the speculation of a Old Gray Collectivist Hag, Huizzy Super Bowl gathering, the formerly "Fishwrap of Record" released the following statement directed at its Downtown LA Clowncil Represenative ......... "Clowncilman Huizar, please refrain from engaging in inappropriate acts with staffers and getting into accidents in city vehicles during the course of watching the Super Bowl today". Enough said.

3. A "Rocky Patel", Clowncilman Huizar Downtown Super Bowl Film Festival: (7-2).

This gathering has the potential to be thee local, political gathering to view today's pigskin proceedings (** with high upside on the chances of backroom transferring of "favors" ......, and Affidavits to document them later for public disclosures, in court). We can envision the likes of a certain Montebello (CD 14 East) State Senator, maybe State Senator Kevin De Leon, assorted lobbyists, and most definitely "two Los Angeles Public Officials" ( you can guess who), working with undercover feds, in prosecuting this event to the fullest.

4. A LA Brewery Company Super Bowl Party with "MEAT" and Huizzy: (25-1).

Please pardon us for being kind with the odds posted for this potential Huizzy gathering with his disgraced former Campaign Manager Michael "MEAT" Trujillo. But considering "MEAT's" recent ineptitude in siding with victorious candidates, the luster this potential Super Bowl Party has been reduce to a dive bash, with the likes of Ana Cubas, John Choi and the designated "Bar Greuel", providing the Bar Fly entertainment.

5. A Return Clowncilman Huizzy to City Hall Super Bowl Bash and Fundraiser: (10-1).

We surely cannot ignore the desperation proclivities of Huizzy and his City Clowncil Soul Brother Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson, to squeeze  campaign dollars out of those seeking downtown favors by selling their presence to the highest bidders, These two have shown that no boundaries of jurisdiction ( or ethical ramifications) will get in the way of preserving their "Political Brotherly Love".

** Lastly, A Hecho En Huizzy Y Mexico Super Bowl Bash: (75-1). 

While the 2014 Edition of "Super Bowl with Huizzy" will likely be a Downtown LA-centric affair, there is a forlorn hope, fueled by morning speculation that the Political Eatery of Note in El Sereno, Hecho En Mexico, may be making a last-minute push to host this year's "Super Bowl with Huizzy". Four LAPD cars were seen parked outside of the Eatery this A.M, prompting speculation that a security detail was either engaging in securing the perimeter for a Super Bowl gathering, or, were merely pre-positioning patrol units so that potential party participants could use the backseats as "sobering-up enclaves", to avoid any possible "DUI" issues (especially when operating a city vehicle).

Happy Super Bowl to all and sincerely, PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE, after all, you do not want to risk rear-ending anyone (especially a retire law enforcement officer) and face the consequences.

Finding the obstruction (via IBEW's "Boss D'Arcy Rizzo"), the political dysfunction (via a Clowncil Dictator Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson Commissioned Report) and the fault (under the Millennium Project), that highlights a "Progressive, Sanctuary City-State" in decline.

Do IBEW/ DWP Strongman Brian D'Arcy (top) share the same corrupted, Political DNA with former City of Bell City Administrator Robert Rizzo (bottom), when its comes to disdain for oversight of the expenditure of public funds?

Good morning to all as Mother Nature cast the appropriate gloomy veil over a "Progressive, Sanctuary City-State" in need of an ethical intervention.That need was highlighted yesterday in a trio of stories which will surely reinforce the thought for some, that America's second-largest city is on the road to a Detroit-like future ........, if it does not get stuck first in the traffic along the way.

First, the trio of Mayor Eric Garcetti, City Attorney Mike Feuer and City Controller Ron Galperin made an joint appearance yesterday to strongly condemn the absence of cooperation from IBEW in producing requested documents, outlining the expenditures of $40 Million plus of funds allocated to two joint DWP/ IBEW Job Safety Training Non-Profits. ** Which just resulted in the resignation of DWP General Manager Ron Nickles.  

IBEW/ DWP Strongman Brian "Boss D'Arcy Rizzo" has fail to grasps since last May, that elections have consequences (especially when you are on the losing side) and that the" political door and lock that hide his and IBEW's "skeletons of past nefarious dealings", now have some new "political key masters". Thus, as the "political key masters" come to unlock "Boss D'Arcy Rizzo's" door (via subpoenas), the floundering, political scandal moniker namesake of the former, convicted City of Bell Administrator, would be wise to heed the paraphrased words of noted "Animal House Educator, Dean Wormer", that "fat ( with post mayoral election baggage), drunk (with delusions of current political power) and stupid (to not provide requested fiscal documents), is no way to sustain your post mayoral election political life". 



Second, for discerning Angelinos who have spent the last couple of decades living in Los Angeles, surprise, was most likely, not the first would broached in response to the dire findings of a 2020 Blue Ribbon Panel Report, commissioned by City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson, regarding the "current state of being" of our "Progressive, Sanctuary City-State".

Former Clowncil Central Committee Member Huizar Staffer Francine Godoy has filed a second lawsuit alleging that the supposed objection review panel investigating her harassment charges against the current CD 14 Officeholder was tainted by the recent remarks of City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson, at a recent Huizar Fundraiser. Further, Godoy also alleges that cabal of Wesson, Huizar and city officials, are trying to intimidate her by forcing her to testify a day before the schedule birth of her first child with new husband Marcos Soto.

My thoughts? When all is said and done regarding this alleged affair/ harassment controversy, nothing will remain but the scorched reputations of a "Political Tonto", the "Other Woman" and a "Mini Amin" enabler.

** Memo to former Mayor Sam Blogger, turned LAUSD School Board President Richard Vladovic Spokeshole Michael "MEAT/ Chief Parker" Trujillo, was it last week that you were expressing your "choreographed thoughts" on the pending departure of Superintendent John Deasy ( a planned leak gone bad)? Now a week later, with a positive evaluation in hand, LAUSD announces that Deasy has been retain through 2016. A sad moment for UTLA and good for continuing reforms on Beaudry.

** The highest-paid Columnist at the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times) Steve Lopez, is none too happy with the City Clowncil Central Committee for raising the cap on value of acceptable gifts. Clowncil Strongman "Mini Amin" Wesson knows that the CD 14 "Dear Charro, Princeton Graduate" Huizar is in deep political trouble regarding his supposed "Occasional, Consensual Affair" with former Deputy Chief of Staff Francine Godoy. Thus, its priority number one to collect capricious amounts of campaign contributions, in the hope that Parke Skelton can craft the "newly, reinvented Dear Charro Family Man/ Princeton Graduate" Huizar in time for 2015.

But besides rehabilitating a tarnished politico, "Mini Amin" Wesson must stand by Huizar because this duo has some joint political baggage that may bring down both of them.

If your first thought was the now, litigious 2012 Redistricting Debacle, your warm, but not quite. Think the still-on-going Building and Safety Department Bribery Scandal.

As we noted here at Mayor Sam in the past, former inspector Samuel (City-Wide Sam?) In, was the supposed "inspector of choice" (for "Mini Amin" Wesson's needs?) in CD 10. When In is force to resign, where does he resurface? In  CD 14, in partnership with close Huizar friend and former staffer Gustavo Valdivia, at his notorious Grande Vista Associates.

Thus, we would not be surprise to hear reports on Wednesday, that the tandem of Valdivia and In, were working with noted Wesson Staffer Michael Bai, in filling the contribution bags and documenting the future political CODs.

Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson is front and center in exerting control over hot button issues at 200 Spring Street.

Will Mayor Eric Garcetti have the fortitude to stand up against "Mini Amin" Wesson's appetite to control the political process at City Hall?

 

 

The former diminutive stand up comic, turned political strongman Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson's political stand up act is gearing up for a special Friday performance, live from the Horseshoe at City Hall.

With supporting help from the reigning stand up bully of Los Angeles Politics DWP/ IBEW Leader Brian "Boss D'Arcy", "Mini Amin" Wesson has decreed that all normal Friday business from behind the Horseshoe ( the giveaway of certificates to fellow clowncil members lackeys), will come to a halt, as he and "Boss D'Arcy" choreograph a dialog on the latest fiscal shakedown attempt by "Boss D'Arcy's" IBEW DWP Brothers and Sisters.   

In the first major showdown between a reinstalled City Clowncil Strongman (but weaken) "Mini Amin" Wesson and a newly-elected Mayor Garcetti, all eyes will be watching for the first blinks of political weakness from either "Mini Amin" Wesson or Mayor Garcetti.

**  We file this under FYI, a former Los Angeles Mayor formerly known such as the "LAtino Tony Blair" and "Antonio Villaraigosa", is taking his Parke Skelton-crafted life experience on the road as he is set to become a "visiting vato, errrr, fellow" at "Ahhharvard University". 

** The newly-installed Ahhhvard Fellow's old Roosevelt friend, now CD 1 City Councilman Gil "The Dream" Cedillo, has been the hot topic in the Eastern Group Publication's chain of local weekly newspapers. First, the insular Lincoln Heights elites such as Vera Padilla and Steve Kasten are crying the blues as Councilman Cedillo moves his Northeast LA office from the Lincoln Heights office property of Kasten, to Highland Park. Second, the normally Cedillo-friendly EGP Editorial Board, implores the new CD 1 City Councilman to clean up the trashed Figueroa Corridor he inherited from former Councilman Ed "Density" Reyes.

** One of the casualties of this blogger's time away from the blogging keyboard, was not sharing the great musings of Los Angeles reigning "Scribe of Wit" Downtown News Editor Jon Regardie. Its with great difficulty ( in keeping a straight face, while LMAO!) as we bring you this excerpt from his list of  "suggestions" for new Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Get a Monkey Butler: A mayor needs someone who will do what he asks and never leak information to the press. Political aides can only guarantee one of those. A monkey butler, however, can handle both. Garcetti should hire a monkey butler who can wear a cute outfit and do things like fetch coffee, grab pens and, should the need arise, leap from the rafters and bite the ear of Councilman Paul Koretz. The monkey butler should be named José Huizar Jr.
Not only would this accomplish important work goals, but a monkey butler would show that Los Angeles has a leader who thinks outside the box. This could also be a pilot program, at least until things go all Planet of the Apes or DWP union boss Brian D’Arcy decides to try to organize them.
Yes, José Huizar Jr. the monkey butler would have to wear a diaper. But he probably wouldn’t be the first one in City Hall to do so.

 Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson's electronic dispatches on the 2012 Redistricting Scandal, now the subject of California Public Records Act requests, as the duo Redistricting Lawsuits become one.

What back room dealings will "Mini Amin's" emails disclose?

Great TGIF to all as we near Spring Break and the various religious observances for this time of year.

At 200 Spring Street, another observance of a political persuasion will garner attention in the next coming weeks thanks to noted Civil Rights Attorney Leo Terrell. In an audacious legal maneuver, Terrell has blanketed City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herb “Mini Amin” Wesson and his fellow travelers on the Horseshoe with California Public Records Act requests for emails dealing with the 2012 Redistricting Scandal.

What backroom dealings are exposed are now only speculation, but the racial component is all too evident in the CD 9 Contest where the issue of race is being broached by both, the Ana Cubas and Curren Price Campaigns, respectively.

One can refer back to the infamous City Clowncil vote on the final Redistricting recommendations, to view CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar reading out the new racial percentages of the redrawn districts, especially CD 8, 9 and 10, thus, giving an early heads up on what is now transpiring in the battle to replace Jan Perry.

In the alleged words of Ana Cubas, “our (latinos y latinas) time is now”, or maybe not, for another four years if political justice wins out.

** City Attorney Carmen Trutanich scored a big time endorsement yesterday in his bid for political rehabilitation and a quest for another four years as the City of LA’s Top Barrister.
LA County Board of Supervisor Gloria Molina gave her endorsement blessings to Nuch which will bid well in the Latino Community. In addition, Nuch used the power of incumbency to garner positive media attention pertaining to the blight of illegal, digital billboards.

** As I read this morning in the “Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street”, both Mayoral Candidates Eric Garcetti and Wendy “The Villar Greuel”, have achieve flip-flopping their perceived political persona's. Garcetti is now the preferred choice of Business. The Villar Greuel the tool of Labor (or D‘Arcy‘s girl).

** With Tim LIEweke’s excommunication from the AEG LA LIVE City-State, the potential seed money to re-invent the concrete parkland of Pershing Square is on life supports pending a final resolution to the Farmers Field pipe dream. Yet, CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar in his tired but still laughable standard retort stated “obviously there is no money now, but where there’s is a will, there’s a way” (….. and there’s a CLARTS Fund).

** Finally, if we make the nearly fatal fiscal mistake of selecting City Controller Wendy “The Villar Greuel” as the third term incarnation of the failed Mayor Antonio Villar Political Machine, Ron Kaye gives us a glimpse of the various channeling masters that will control the actions of the “Villar Greuel”.

The political free fall is complete for soon to be former Board Of Public Works President Andrea AlarCON as manana is the “Zorro Marxist’s” daughter last day of employment, following last Friday’s announcement of her resignation.

Tomorrow is also the start of her San Bernardino County Trial for DUI and Child Endangerment, in which she is likely to face an uphill battle for exoneration.

But while the daughter of the indicted CD 2/7 City Councilman Richard AlarCON becomes the latest troubled appointee of Mayor Antonio Villar,  to tender their resignation following questionable act of personal behavior, we should not forget the speculation behind the “relationship” between the Mayor and Andrea.

Who was the man that Andrea AlarCON’s daughter saw walking with her mommy to the hotel with? Someday we may know.

** Memo to City Attorney Candidate Mike Feuer, are you so hard up to remain on the public payroll that you will show up at a Studio City Neighborhood Council Meeting and filibuster during Public Comment on your political attributes?

Second, did your endorsed candidate for Mayor, City Controller Wendy “The Villar Greuel”, garner the group’s nod to replace your “Political Papi”? NO WAY!! Lastly, did the democratic cabal of community vendidos and vendidas, show some endorsement love for your ex. Chief of Staff Ana Cubas, in regards to her carpetbagging CD 9 bid?
