Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Wednesday

With thanks to new City Clowncilpersons Mike Bonin, Gil Cedillo, City Attorney Mike Feuer and even losing Mayoral Candidate Wendy "Boss D'Arcy's Greuel", "Private Citizen/ Political Consultant" John Shallman can enjoy some quality time in the tropics.
Just think how much sun block and luxury "Private Citizen/ Political Consultant" John Shallman can buy with former Mayoral Client Wendy "Boss D'Arcy's Greuel" outstanding campaign debts ( wonder if the IRS has any interest in Shallman's vacation?).
Good morning to all as we share this moment of tropical tranquility via none other than "Private Citizen/ Political Consultant" John Shallman.
You have to admire the audacity ( or up front manipulator of campaign laws) of the "Private Citizen/ Political Consultant", to bask in the tropical sun ( with sun block needed on the head) while his latest high profile client loser Wendy "Boss D'Arcy's Greuel", is floundering in a half-million dollars plus campaign debt, via Mr. Shallman's consulting.
But "Boss D'Arcy's Greuel" should not pout, after all, she was an willing enabler in Shallman's fiscal proclivities that made her the latest example of the "Private Citizen/ Political Consultant's" questionable campaign spending.
The least she can hope for is a tropical postcard with the next campaign debt due date.
** The City Clowncil Central Committee in due course ( at 10 AM) will take up the question of murals and whether the time is now to end the cities ban on new wall side art works. KABC 790 AM and Daily News Columnist Doug McIntyre shares his thoughts via his latest "Moldy Green Sheet" column. Excerpt below.
Councilman (Jose) Huizar is considering a two-track bill, one that would ban single-family home murals but allow neighborhoods to opt in if they so choose. The other would legalize murals anywhere in the city but allow neighborhoods to opt out.
How Huizar defines “neighborhood” is unclear, and a call to his office was not returned.
Meanwhile Gil Cedillo leans towards Option A, according to the councilman’s spokesman, Fredy Ceja, who claims the residents of Cedillo’s district are “too busy” to opt-in.

....... at least Cedillo's Office returns phone calls.

** If you ever wonder what the current sellout price is for the Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee, Jack Humphreville has the tally and move over Steve Austin, there is a new "Six Million Dollar Boss" in LA (or at least in City Hall).

Mayor Sam Exclusive: Is Assembly Speaker Perez engage in a Campaign Double Cross of Wendy Greuel?

In a Mayor Sam Exclusive Is Assembly Speaker John Perez engaging in a double cross of Mayoral Candidate Wendy "The Call Greuel of Choice of the LA Political Elites"?
Assembly Speaker Perez with Mr. and Mrs. Wendy "The Villar Greuel".
Now State Senator Kevin De Leon knows the feeling of being a speed bump for now Assembly Speaker Perez's political ambitions.
Following the dubious money trial to a political double cross?
** Blogger's note: California Assembly Speaker John Perez has not been shy about his and the rest of first cousin Mayor Antonio Villar's Political Machine support of Mayor Candidate Wendy "The Call Greuel of Choice for LA's Special Interests". But this commentary above raises some interesting questions, again, about Speaker Perez's proclivities for dumping supposed political allies when their usefulness is at an end. But more telling is Speaker Perez's and ally Assemblyman Mike Gatto's alleged control of the Prosperity PAC, which is illegal under California Campaign Finance Law---Scott Johnson

The "Spinning of the MEAT Hour" on the KRLA's Mark Isler Radio Show

The reigning Payaso Crony of Mayor Antonio Villar's failed Political Machine, Michael "MEAT" Trujillo, will be in studio tonight on KRLA 870 AM ("Un" with MEAT on air) Intelligent Talk Radio Mark Isler's Radio Show starting at 10 P.M.
In MEAT's own narcissus banter from Facebook.

Well if Kevin James and Jan Perry can be on radio then so can I.
Listen this Saturday night on KRLA 870am as I make sure Mark Isler a gentleman I've known for 13 years regrets having me on his show, forever.
He might get a ratings spike but not for the reason he thinks.
All will be exposed! — feeling amused.

As a compassionate blogger who is all too willing to help expose the MEAT to a larger, dismissive audience, we post the call in number (866) 870-5752, if you have questions that require no subtenant response, (only spin), from the former "Chief Parker" of Mayor Sam.

** A bloggin bit of advise, please refrain from asking the MEAT about the following;.

1. His last campaign victory as a consultant or manager ( he can't remember that far back to a certain LAUSD campaign against a terminally-ill candidate).

2. Definitely, do not mention the debacle of his mismanaged IBEW/ DWP Measure B Campaign. (** Bonus video below)
This was not a way to manage a campaign MEAT

3. Secrets and rants from behind the wheel as the "Drivin Ms. Daisy of Los Angeles Politics".

4. Refrain from mixing the use of firearms and emails in the same question (and political campaigns)..

5. Tony Villar's future needs for MEAT beyond July 1, 2013 as we begin the "Mayor Eric Garcetti Era" ( Maybe IBEW's Boss D"Arcy can find gainful employment for MEAT on the DWP payroll as a overpaid driver?)

Lastly, if you are a low information bloggin supporter of MEAT and his mayoral candidate of choice Wendy "The PPL, Slick Willie, SEIU, UFLAC, Mayor Villar, IBEW, DWP and Boss D'Arcy's Greuel" then we present you with the latest fundraising tool of the Greuel Campaign.
Cardboard and markers are all that is left at the end of a John Shallman consulted campaign.

Tune in tonight at 10:00 P.M. for the best in unintelligent spin from MEAT!

Senator Boxer, meet the "Bob Packwood" of the Greuel Campaign, Dr. Anthony Samad (or is it Essex?)

California Feminist Liberal Sister Senator Barbara Boxer choice for LA Mayor Wendy "The Feminist, PPL, SEIU, UFLAC, Slick Willie, Mayor Villar, IBEW, DWP and Boss D'Arcy's Greuel" has a prominent supporter that may remind the "Greece on the Pacific Junior Sister Senator", of a certain former Oregon Senator.
Liberal Sisters in denial of sexist campaign supporters?
Wendy Greuel for Mayor supporter Dr. Anthony Samad (formerly Essex) stands by his Mayoral Greuel of Choice, as she addresses a past event.
** Blogger's note: Once upon a time in recent California political history, a Marin County Congresswoman  charged up the steps of a Washington D.C. Senate Office Building, with fellow feminist politico sisters, as they sought to protest the treatment of Anita Hill by then Wendy Greuel fellow Republican and now US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. In 1995, now California US Senator Barbara Boxer, continued her crusade against sexually-inappropriate behavior by (Republican) males, via leading the call for hearings into allegations of sexual harassment by former Oregon Senator Bob Packwood. In a 1995 story in People Magazine, she revisits her own graphic encounter with sexual harassment in the excerpt below.

EVEN NOW SEN. BARBARA BOXER becomes tense when she remembers that winter day in 1962. A Brooklyn College honors student at the time, she asked to meet her professor to discuss a questionable C-minus she had received on an economics course. It soon became clear that the married instructor did not have academic reappraisal on his mind. " 'I just find you so dynamic—you're really my favorite,' " she recalls his saying. "He grabbed my shoulders and pushed me against the wall—it was so sudden! This old face was coming at me, aiming to kiss me. I pushed him aside, opened the door and ran out." Though shaken, Boxer told no one but her husband, Stewart, of the unwanted advance. "Now," she says, "I realize how wrong that was. I might have spared a lot of young women the experience."

Some years later, former 100 Black Men of America Inc. employee Patricia Rillera, could of benefited from a more candid, younger Barbara Boxer, as she relives her horrible experience, in a lawsuit regarding alleged sexual harassment by its CEO and President at the time, ANTHONY SAMAD.

The lawsuit states that between 2007-2009 Anthony Samad was the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of 100BMLA and direct boss of Patricia Rillera.   During her time with 100BMLA Ms. Rillera alleges she was repeatedly sexually harassed by Mr. Samad through conversations of “how good in bed he was” he asserted that “him and his wife participated in swinger activities” and although he made these comments she should simply “ignore” and regard them as a “joke”.Ms. Rillera repeatedly denied these advances and as a result, she alleges that Mr. Samad created a hostile work environment by making outbursts during her presentations in meetings and repeatedly making references that his agenda was to have her terminated.  He further alleged she wasn’t qualified to do her job and tried to deem her as incompetent by not inviting her to scheduled meetings or ridiculing her in front of board members.  As Ms. Rillera complained to members of the board, their reply was, “they equated it to ‘sexual frustration’ between Rillera and Samad”.

....... and Rillera was NOT the original target of Samad's alleged sexual harassment.

By 2008, Melanie McDade, a secretary employed by 100BMLA, brought claims against100BMLA and Samad alleging sexual harassment by Samad.  It was during this case that Rillera was questioned on what she observed between Samad and McDade, and Rillera corroborated McDade’s story.  As a result, Rillera alleges she was also retaliated against by 100BMLA for cooperating in the McDade investigation.

So, just who is prominent South LA Wendy Greuel supporter Dr. Anthony Samad? Maybe it would help to also know his previous "Anthony Essex" incarnation. One can discern that in addition to harassment issues, both the former Anthony Essex incarnation and current Dr Anthony Samad persona, share an ethically-challenged DNA.

Anthony Samad is no stranger to controversy seeing that he is formerly known as Anthony Essex, former President of the NAACP who back in 1990 was found guilty of loan fraud and spent 6 months in jail for lying on his home loan application for the bank he worked for. (** Wendy should make the now "Dr Anthony Samad" the founding member of the "Convicted Frauds for Greuel Committee).

and this via LA Times Steve Lopez.

L.A. County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas greeted me warmly Monday afternoon, even though I'd come to hear him explain why he used $25,000 in taxpayer money to buy a place in "Who's Who in Black Los Angeles." I wanted to ask him whether his decision to buy the spread had anything to do with the fact that the book's associate publisher has made campaign donations to the supervisor and is a longtime ally.

Guess who the "longtime ally" is? This should be no surprise.

I wasn't all that surprised to learn that the associate publisher of "Who's Who," Anthony Samad, happens to be a longtime friend of Ridley-Thomas. But I was a little rattled to discover when I looked up campaign contributions that Samad donated $1,250 to Ridley-Thomas' campaign in 2007 and 2008. And that's not all.I also laid my hands on a document showing that Samad had been awarded a $24,999 consulting contract in 2002 by the city of Los Angeles, at the behest of then-Councilman Ridley-Thomas. The contract was for "expertise the council member needs … that is not otherwise available." (I can smell the "Waste, Fraud and Abuse" here but no signsof Wendy)

But then how can a member of the US Senate Ethics Committee and Candidate Greuel, remain silent about these alleged sexual and ethical misdeeds? Consider the pronouncement below

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Friday

As the most recent mayoral poll shows a virtual tie between Eric Garcetti and Wendy "The SEIU, Villar, PPL, DWP and Boss D"Arcy's Greuel ", in addition to vicious attack ads and unethical accusations in CD 1,9 and 13. Brace yourself for a final 10 day blitz of attacks and counter attacks, as we near May 21.
Nothing like a little campaign carpet bombing before Election Day.
Great TGIF as we take this moment to venture out of zee bloggin bunker to bring you the latest on the mounting attacks and counter attacks, with 10 days remaining in the 2013 City of Los Angeles Election Season (** not including the CD 6 Special Sister Election).
** The big story (or not) is how the "Private Citizen/ Wendy "The SEIU, PPL, Villar, IBEW, DWP and Boss D'Arcy's Greuel for Mayor Campaign" Consultant John Shallman's $3,151,647 dollars and 90 cents in campaign expenditures since the March 7 Election Day, has merely paid for a tie in the most recent mayoral poll. But as the LA Times points out in this latter part of the morning (and what should prompt painful, political flashbacks for the likes of Richard Polanco, Bernard Parks, Chris Essel and a current City Attorney), the campaign coffers have been spent bare, typical behavior for a "Private Citizen/ Political Consultant" John Shallman campaign production.
** Liar, liar, Mike Feuer's City Attorney Campaign Plans are on fire! We bring you the latest on the embellishing proclivities of a termed out Westside Politico and his tax-dodging "Private Citizen/ Political Consultant" John Shallman, as their attempt to "LIE, CHEAT and STEAL a City Attorney Election, makes a Friday stop in a Downtown LA Courtroom. From the Trutanich for City Attorney Campaign.
Mike Feuer admitted embellishing/ lying about what?

Just when you thought you’d had heard the last about Mike Feuer’s ethics scandal, Mike Feuer gives the story new legs by admitting, in writing, that he broke the city’s campaign finance law. But Feuer only made that admission after he tricked the city into giving him another $350,000 of our tax money  to fund his campaign.

Some bachground on Feuer/ Shallman's scheme .........
Here’s the latest in this sad saga of Mike Feuer’s ethics scandal: During the primary election, Feuer promised the city he would not spend more than $1,259,000 (the so-called spending cap) on his campaign (Holding a Shallman Consulted Campaign to a spending cap, is like rationing Mayor Villar's access to "Telebimbos"). On April 11, Mike Feuer signed a document saying he spent $1,267,155 – or about $8,000 more than the spending cap. So, Feuer broke the law.
Now here’s the really sleazy part: On April 2 and April 4, Feuer obtained an additional $350,000 in city subsidies for his campaign from the city. On April 11, after obtaining the money, Feuer informed the city – under pain of committing perjury – that his funding exceeded the cap and that he broke the law.
It stands to reason that if Feuer had informed the city Ethics Commission that he violated the law before asking for the $350,000 the commission would not have released the money to him. The law is clear: you break the spending cap, you don’t get the city money. The city does NOT reward law-breakers. At least that’s the way it's supposed to work.
When Mike Feuer saw this problem (how could he acknowledge violating the cap and still get the $350,000?), he resolved it this way: he’d get the money first – then he’d acknowledge violating the law. And that’s exactly what he did.

What are the possible legal remedies?

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Wednesday

From the Exclusive Encino Headquarters of West Coast Public Affairs/ John Shallman Communications (same, but separate for tax reasons), we bring you the latest Wendy "IBEW Boss D'Arcy's Greuel" for Mayor Campaign 30 second TV Ad
From John Shallman: Stand by for more outings of Waste, Fraud and Abuse. Plus, testimonials from "D'Arcy Greuel's high profile supporters .......... , hit play..
Hmmm, where is the content? With less than two weeks before Election Day, you have no new ad content to air on TV? Maybe this from the LA Times can provide the reason why .........

Los Angeles mayoral candidate Wendy Greuel's campaign organization has suspended her TV advertising two weeks before the election, a move that reflects her continuing struggle to raise enough money to compete head-to-head on the airwaves with her rival, Eric Garcetti.
Greuel’s cancellation of ad time reserved for Tuesday and Wednesday does not entirely remove her presence from local TV stations. Working Californians to Elect Wendy Greuel, an independent committee controlled by leaders of a union for Department of Water and Power workers, is still running a spot showing former President Bill Clinton talking up her candidacy.
But the cancellation, confirmed by multiple sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, reflects the challenges that Greuel faces in the run-up to the May 21 election as a consequence of raising less money than Garcetti, but spending at a faster pace.

...... and who is the lead consultant for the "D'Arcy Greuel for Mayor Campaign"? Maybe Chris Essel can answer that question.

** We want to wish Ron Kaye a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY + 1 and how did the former Editor of the "Daily Valley Green Sheet of Record" celebrate another year of outing "Political Waste, Frauds and Abusers of the Public Trust"? He endorsed the "only choice for Mayor Eric Garcetti. An excerpt below.

Wendy Greuel is a decent woman; a feather dancer of sorts who always makes sure every part of her being is well-concealed. In a phrase, she is a butt-coverer who never takes a risk and so the rich and powerful and smart and caring – I mean those singular individuals of such great important who are at once richpowerfulsmartcaring and any other virtues applicable to the elite – know with certainty Wendy will do what she is told.Eric Garcetti is not like that.

...... and how will Michael "MEAT" Trujillo spin this?

** Speaking of "MEAT", his ceaseless spin on behalf of the "Boss D'Arcy Greuel for Mayor Campaign", reinforces the reality that the cronies of Mayor Antonio Villar, are one with the anointed third term incarnation of their failed political machine. "MEAT" manage to spin his way into Hillel Aron's post for the LA School Report Blog on yesterday's Mayoral Debate on Education, regarding a $60,000 donation to a Garcetti Super PAC by the American Federation of Teachers.

“I think the AFT is sending a loud and clear message that the status quo — ensuring that the worst teachers are impacting students — is still the law of the land,” said political consultant Michael Trujillo, a strong (though unpaid) supporter of Garcetti’s opponent, Wendy Greuel. “And they’re gonna hold Eric Garcetti’s feet to the fire.”

...... and LAUSD School Board President Monica "Gorda Boo Boo" Garcia is a monolith of ethics as she accepts contributions from Academia Semillas del Pueblo, who have not comply with a District Office of Inspector General request for an audit.

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Tuesday

As the candidates for mayor prep for today's "much-discussed debate on Education", Wendy Greuel supporter LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia links to the controversial Academia Semillas del Pueblo Charter School, may become a unwanted distraction.
....... but I also supported Charter Renewal for my campaign contributor Marcos Aguilar's controversial Academia Semillas del Pueblo Charter School, which continues to stonewall LAUSD's Office of Inspector General Audit requests.
But despite Garcia's "bullhorn devotion" (aided by timely contributions) to Marcos Aguilar's (and wife Minnie Ferguson) educational collective, the LA School Report Blog is reporting that LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy and Garcia may be on a collision course, again, regarding possible Charter Revocation of the El Sereno Indoctrination Collective.
Superintendent John Deasy responded directly to the school: “If you can’t comply with this, then I can’t recommend that school’s renewal,” said Deasy. “It looks like we’re heading in that direction.” Deasy said he didn’t know of any other examples of a school flouting district regulations like Semillas has done.“It always troubles me when a school is not consistent with our expectations and transparencies,” said Deasy, referring to Semillas. Deasy also said that he’s asked LAUSD attorneys about “other steps,” including the possibility of revoking Semillas’ charter.“I have to see if this falls into that category,” said Deasy.Deasy and his team at LAUSD didn’t recommend the renewal of Semillas’ elementary school last year, but they were overruled when the School Board voted, 4 to 3, to give the school another five years.

But while "Gorda Boo Boo" may be oblivious to longtime "Waste, Fraud and Abuse" at Academia, look for newly-reelected School Board Member Steve Zimmer to be the swing vote in the other direction this time around Then watch for Marcos and Minnie's supporters to make some uncomfortable disclosures regarding the likes of Garcia, Councilman Jose Huizar and Mayor Antonio Villar.

** Via LA Weekly's Patrick Range McDonald, both Mayoral candidates have seen the light and found common ground on the contentious Parent Trigger Issue, after a trip to the 24th Street School

** The reigning Editor of the Downtown News and "Scribe of Wit" Jon Regardie channels a "Pravda Editor of Note" in his latest Regardie Report on the CD 1 Campaign between Gil Cedillo and Jose Gardea. We excerpt "Media Commissar Regardski" below as he channels a Soviet perspective to a recent Gil Cedillo comment.

“City Hall is like the old Soviet Union,” Cedillo remarked. “It’s about protecting itself and there’s not going to be change from the inside.”The line is as fantastic as it is farfetched. Is Cedillo, who first won a State Assembly seat in 1998, comparing Reyes to old bloc leaders like Nikita Khrushchev and Leonid Brezhnev? Does he think Reyes is settled in the First District equivalent of Red Square building up a nuclear arsenal to hand over to Gardea.Even more interesting is what the comparison means for Cedillo himself. If he’s the change agent, then he’s probably a CD1 Mikhail Gorbachev, who introduced the openness concept of “glasnost,” which made him adored by the West and hated in the fading USSR (though there is little evidence he could become “Gorby II”). Maybe he’s salty Boris Yeltsin. Or perhaps Cedillo fancies himself a Los Angeles Vladimir Putin. The mind boggles. After the debate I asked Gardea about the remark. “You’ve just been compared to Soviet Russia,” I said. “Do you agree?”He responded with a bemused smile.“Nyet.”

"Nyet", may be the Russian translation for Gardea's chances of becoming CD 1 City Councilman "Mini Ed" Gardea on May 21.

** We join CD 9 City Councilwoman and former Mayoral Candidate Jan Perry in prayers and meditation that she endorse City Attorney Carmen Trutanich for a second term. In the spirit of joint reflection we provide the following inducement to help bring about this needed political union (or cutting of the endorsement bread).
Never leave the Office of City Attorney to a Politico Hack.

The Villar Greuel loans her Forlorn Campaign $100,000, prompting a 2009 CD 2 Special Election Flashback Moment

The LA Times is reporting that Mayoral Candidate Wendy "The Villar Greuel" has loaned her campaign $100,000 dollars, prompting a 2009 CD 2 Special Election Flashback.
As aspiring female candidates for public office, what do/did Wendy Greuel and Chris Essel share in their respective political quests? How about a "Private Citizen/ Campaign Consultant" name John Shallman, who spent campaign proceeds at a far greater level than their respective challengers, prompting .............
"Private Citizen/ Campaign Consultant" John Shallman can quickly think of multiple ways of spending campaign contributions.
prompting ......... Chris Essel in 2009, to loan her campaign the following amount.

11/30/09 CHRISTINE ESSEL (BUSINESSWOMAN/NEIGHBORHOOD ADVOCATE, NONE)LOS ANGELES, CA 90010 CHRISTINE ESSEL Council Member - District 2 1321633 - CHRIS ESSEL FOR CITY COUNCIL 2009 - GENERAL B - Loan Received [Period:11/22/0912/02/09]$10,000.00 [Election:12/08/09]

and prompting ......, Wendy "The Villar Greuel" in 2013, to loan her campaign the following amount as the LA Times reports.

City Controller Wendy Greuel, whose campaign for Los Angeles mayor had been dramatically out-spending rival Eric Garcettiloaned her campaign $100,000, according to documents filed with the City Ethics Commission over the weekend. The move comes a little more than two weeks before election day, as Greuel faces cash-flow pressures that have forced her to cut back on TV advertising.A clear picture of the candidates’ financial conditions will emerge on Thursday, when financial disclosure reports are due.  But a Times review of fundraising and spending in recent weeks found that Greuel has been raising less money than City Councilman Garcetti, but spending at a faster pace since the March 5 primary (or since the Shallman takeover of the campaign).

The Times should also review this passage to note the prior spending behavior of Greuel and then Essel's Campaign Consultant John Shallman, as we partake in this flashback moment. Sound familiar to current events?

While IBEW shills and attacks for Essel, in their "independent ways". Team Essel is almost running on empty when it comes to their financial state. Since the start of campaigning, the Essel Campaign has collected $627,404 in contributions and $184,259 in matching funds. But with the cost of paying the likes of Shallman, Berman and Burnside, eating away at available finances, her campaign has "big gulped" $902,201 in expenses. With her hands on cash near nil, Chris Essel has loaned her campaign $10,000 of personal money.

....... and as of today, the Villar Greuel for Mayor Campaign has "big gulped $5,830,700 in campaign expensives, plus over $3,000,000 of IBEW dues. Thus, leaving us to ponder whether political history will repeat itself on May 21?

Mid-Day Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday

The latest Eric Garcetti for Mayor T.V. Ad takes the truth to the DWP Mayoral Candidate Wendy "Boss D'Arcy's Greuel"
Hard to believe (or not) that City Controller Wendy "Boss D'Arcy's Greuel" could not find and waste at the DWP.
As the drought-laden aquifers get a recharge of rainfall this Monday, the Eric Garcetti for Mayor Campaign is amping up the voltage of the 2013 Mayoral Campaign with this hard hitting ad against the DWP Mayoral Candidate Wendy "Boss D'Arcy's Greuel".
After weeks of IBEW's Working Californians IE TV Ads for Wendy Greuel dominating the local airways, the Garcetti Campaign launches this timely retort that is already resonating with local voters.
** The Downtown News, faced with its first choice for mayor Jan Perry not making the Runoff, has endorsed Eric Garcetti. From the Downtown News endorsement of Garcetti.

We think Garcetti is the most likely candidate to take advantage of what the city has to offer, and we expect he will balance his even-keeled nature with an appropriate scale of vision. The tenure of Villaraigosa demonstrated what can happen when a cocktail of massive vision and unbounded personal ambition exceed a leader’s focus and abilities. Garcetti doesn’t dream as big as Villaraigosa (nor does Greuel), and that’s probably a good thing. Garcetti’s vision is more focused and practical that the current mayor’s. We like his recognition of the need to seize on technology in the next four years — hiring a city technology czar is a wise move. His Great Streets program, an effort to improve 20 key corridors, is another good start. We expect more big ideas will develop and that they will complement the focus on nuts and bolts work.

The Villar Greuel's dreams are more like channeling episodes via Mayor Villar and IBEW's Boss D'Arcy.
** Its time to check back in with our John Choi Parody Twitter Page.
We understand that the campaign rhetoric between Martin Ludlow's former errant boy and CD 13 Challenger Mitch O'Farrell is reaching the boiling point. Thus, we thought that this would be a great time to get some thoughts on the current campaign antics from the Ludlow Choi'a alter ego.

Choi on Emile Mack endorsement .....

A Politically Scorned Wendy "The Villar Greuel's" Texts become Campaign Fodder

With no apologies to our former bloggin Mayor Sam colleague Michael "MEAT" Trujillo, we bring you this latest 2013 Mayoral Campaign Message regarding the some adoring texts from Wendy "The Villar Greuel"  to now Eric Garcetti supporter Kevin James.
Poor little MEAT can't bear the truth. Thus, his only recourse is to do what Chief Faker/Parker does best, embellish some spin. From "MEAT's" Facebook Page.
Breaking news: Eric Garcetti's IE attack ad against Wendy Greuel is brought to you by: Wal-Mart.
So Garcetti returns the Wal-Mart money to only have it recycled into his IE as an attack against Wendy Greuel who just so happens to be Labor's choice for Mayor.

Denial has no bounds in MEAT's convoluted brain .....

Differences: IE's for both mayoral candidates as of today have attacked their opponents. However only Eric Garcetti's IE uses laundered Wal-Mart money to do it. Since Eric hasn't condemned it, then it must be ok, right?

But MEAT, its OK to use DWP ratepayer's money, now washed into IBEW dues/ political expenditures, correct? Yet regardless of who paid for the effective political ad of truth below, there is no denying that the "Villar Greuel" had a "political text thing" for Kevin James.

The latest political ad from Brian Van Riper's IE Committee in support of Eric Garcetti.

4 MayThis is our web ad that will run through election day. It links to

For MEAT, the truth above is really going to become politically and monetarily acute, come May 21, as the donations below show. But then what Special Interest may have fronted the money for MEAT, maybe IBEW? After all, MEAT knows how to "recycle other people's money' as a previous Facebook passage of his notes .......

Michael TrujilloApril 20 via mobile
While eating my pastrami dipped sandwich Norm Langer handed me $40 so I can tip his own waitress. I Love LA! — at Langer's Delicatessen-Restaurant.

Thus, maybe IBEW gave MEAT some money to "tip" the Villar Greuel Campaign? Just speculating ...., like MEAT.

Former City Councilwoman Ruth Galanter files Ethics Complaint against former council colleague Wendy "The Villar Greuel" over her use of city office and email for campaign purposes.

Mayor Sam has learned via Los Cerritos News Reporter Randy Economy that former Westside City Councilwoman Ruth Galanter has filed an Ethics Complaint against her former council colleague Wendy "The Villar Greuel".

In a complaint filed today with the City Ethics Commission, former Councilwoman Ruth Galanter challenged City Controller and mayoral candidate Wendy Greuel’s use of city computers for campaign purposes.  Galanter based her complaint on revelations by the Los Cerritos Community News that  Greuel routinely communicated with her campaign operatives from her city office and using city computers, a clear violation of the Municipal Code.“Ms. Greuel’s misuse of public resources is an insult to the voters and taxpayers of Los Angeles made even more egregious by the fact that  we taxpayers are paying her approximately $200,000 a year (plus a car and a cellphone) to prevent just such misuse, “ Galanter said.

This initial complaint via Galanter, may be the first of many to be filed, come next week.
