Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Thursday

When Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson wants to increase dialog on a given Committee (especially when it involves raising the Minimum Wage), he simply names himself to it.
LA City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson.

Its good to be the Strongman.
As the "debate (haha!)" over raising the City of Los Angeles Minimum Wage works its way through the appropriate City Clouncil Central Committee's sub-departments, never underestimate the political choreography of its reigning Strongman to position himself (and allies), in dictated the desired outcome.
The cynical laugh track is in order as we read the following from "Mini Amin" via KPCC .......,
Council President Herb Wesson added himself and Councilman Paul Koretz to the Economic Development Committee as it debates a proposal from Mayor Eric Garcetti to increase the minimum wage to $13.25 an hour by 2017. They're also considering a second proposal from four council members to raise it even further, to $15.25 an hour by 2019.
In an interview with KPCC, Wesson said he expanded the committee from five members to seven to get a "wide variety of ideas" and to “eliminate complaints and concerns” about the process."It should be a methodical process," he said.

Lets be honest "Mini Amin", this is all about positioning your allies to receive "the political gravy" for supporting this scheme that will indict further, the City of Los Angeles standing as an unfriendly municipality for business.

** No comprende the following from Mayor Eric Garcetti regarding a supposed link between a lack of Affordable Housing and a low Minimum Wage. But ELACC's Maria Cabildo will be all smiles in anticipating getting a share of the following ........, Garcetti, in a speech at the Mayoral Housing, Transportation & Jobs summit on Wednesday, unveiled plans to build 100,000 new housing units by 2021.

** Whoops!! Remember something called PENSION REFORM? We hope Mayor Garcetti and the City Council Central Committee find Fiscal Religion soon as the General Budget could take another $50 Million Dollar hit next year due to downsizing expectations on Pension Investment returns.

** Judging from the comments highlighted by the esteem Valley Village Writer Paul Hatfield, the former TV Child known as Zelda, has not lost touch with her inner-Thespian self, as she continues channeling a supposed candidate for LA County Supervisor ......., She called Nevada foolish for offering Tesla a $1 billion tax break for a battery plant which will eventually employ 6,500 full-time employees and create hundreds of construction jobs. Instead, she stated Nevada would be better off adding 6,500 government jobs.

** In lieu of the recent Cold-blooded Murders of two Northern California Law Enforcement Officers b a twice-deported Illegal Alien, those with in the "Illegal Immigrant Rights Community" may want to rethink their collective outrage at LA County Board of Supervisor Gloria Molina, for renewing an agreement with ICE to deport Illegal Alien Felons from County Jails.

Your thoughts ............

GLORIA Molina's priority is the safty of the community.
When she stated that these criminals were not welcome, and approved the
Agreement with ICE.
I totally support her decision.
With LAUSD new policy of not suspending student for destroying school property up to $400.00 or fighting, spitting on instructor and insubordination.
L.A superior court giving free ride on petty theif and other crimes.
Calif. Trying to reduce some felonies
to misdemeanor how safe will are communties be.
L.A PD under reporting violent crimes and gost care only compounds the problems.
This has not been a priority for Huevon.
He has instead been boozing and having affairs with taxpayer's money.

What will general Amin and mayor garciette do for seniors on social security or pensions when they can afford a big mac at McDonald's because everyone has to earn over $15.00 a hour.
What has obama done for seniors.
even a diet of dog food will be to expensive.
O that right palitive medicine and end of
life decisions.
Seniors won't get same medical care because it's not cost effective or age effective.
Molina has more experience with these
matter as a board member of the board of supervisor.
She will make sound decisions taking everyone into account and not like Huevon
little groups that support him.

(So it sounds like the decision has been made, and not about debate/thinking about it; but ELIMINATING complaints, methodically. Not QUITE a dictatorship, cause a full dictator wouldn't care about eliminating complaints/concerns. Same result, either way.)
