Regular, longtime readers of this blog will surely be familiar with our past musings regarding the political evolution of a formerly, "Stay at Mom's Infant Assemblyman", now soon to be Termed-out Sacramento Legislator Mike Gatto ........., and his cyber-bloggin Gatto Truther Loyalists.  

Yet admittedly , we were remiss in reporting an Official Act/Proclamation in 2013, honoring a former Award-winning, Weekly of Record, authored by the former Silver Lake (or Canyon Drive) residing 43rd Assembly District Officeholder as we excerpt below. 

“HMG-CN’s investigative work revealed a previously unprecedented level of corruption leading to the arrest at least one official now facing 60 felony counts, while reminding other public officials that they are not above the law, and their detailed work and dedication to uphold the law demonstrated the power of investigative journalism and restored faith in disenfranchised members of the public by holding public officials accountable and ensuring an informed populace,” the resolution stated. The Resolution also proclaims: “HMG-CN provided the much-needed voice for the American people and reminded us all that we are responsible for ensuring that our rights are not misrepresented, misconstrued, or taken advantage of.”

Surely, longtime Democratic Operative/Sacramento Staffer Trent Hager would agree with the latter. (and BOLDed part) of the statement, excerpted above, as he faces the repercussions of being the subject matter of another "Exclusive", originating from the keyboard of a supposed, award-winning journalist, as noted below.

A Hews Media Group-Community News exclusive investigation has found that Trent Hager, Chief of Staff to Senator Cathleen Galgiani (D-Stockton CA) and now Adam Gray (D-Merced), paid to contact escorts on the Ashley Madison adultery website and did most of the illicit work while on state time. Hager earns a hefty $141,408 per year according to the Senate.ca.gov website and is married to Janelle Beland, who works for Governor Jerry Brown.

In reviewing the shallow content of this supposed exclusive, we have to question why Brian Hews keyboarded the outing of a Democratic Staffer, who is listed as being the current and former Chief of Staff to Central California-based Officeholders, which would be of nominal interest to his normal readership?

That answer may be predicated in what is now a Propaganda Smear Fishwrap, compare to a former Weekly Newspaper of Record, that was once lauded by for its Investigated Journalism in 2013.

In noting the work history of Hager, Publisher/Editor/Writer/now Propagandist Brian Hews, omitted the FACT that Hager was ALSO the Chief of Staff to former Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, who is the Democratic Candidate for the vacant 25th State Senate District .............., a political office, much-coveted by Termed-out Assemblyman Mike Gatto (a noted antagonist of Portantino).

Thus, its very conceivable that Hews was again, engaging in yet another Act of Journalistic Malpractice, in which the now, "Brian Hews/Los Chacon News", is known for (and paid for in ads or proclamations) in Southeast Los Angeles County.

** There is also speculation that the Hager Hit Piece, also had a link to his former work for past political opponents of current Central Basin Water District Director (and former Assemblyman) Phillip Hawkins .........., who is allied with Art Chacon.

** Since the genesis of our bloggin coverage of now 43rd Assembly District Assemblyman Mike Gatto, the one constant has been the Astro Turf-proclivities of the Burbank Blog, in its unwavering, fanatical support of the nearly, termed out Silver Lake Lawmaker. But in its first comments since last Sunday's 43rd AD Democrat Delegate Rerun Election, the comments posted below take Racial Identity Politics to a new low.

From the Burbank Blog (July 21, 2015) ............., "Aryan, or Armenian, Supremacists?"  Supporters for for Assembly candidate Ardashes Kassakhian and Senate candidate Anthony Portantino showed up en masse to prevail in the local Dem party delegate election redux which the party ordered after finding massive fraud by their supporters the first time.  The two prevailed this time only after whipping up an ethnic furor with "my race first" tactics that have no place in our swirling melting pot of a community.  Articles like this one called "By Any Means Necessary" are emblematic of the "us first always" rhetoric.  We know we speak for most when we say that bad taste in our mouths appears to be 1950s cornbread from the deep south.  What gives this white, privileged group the right to be so radically ethnocentric?

Just a thought, but if someone (or a certain ethnic group) was the target of ethnic cleansing in regards to exerting their right to vote, then in hindsight, a "Democrats United" response was the appropriate reaction?

** Will the "Political Soul Brothers" of the Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee, reunite on the (Exchange) Stage to help settle a "2015 Campaign Debt? Surprise, surprise, the just re-elected "Political Soul Brother" of City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson, CD 14 Clowncilman Jose Huizar, is having money issues ......., again. From non-payment of Property Tax, to an alleged "Quitsale", the just re-elected Officeholder (BTW, who went to Princeton) just can't figure out how to (politically) live within his means (excluding the largess of the Special Interests). According to his most recent 460 Officeholder Account Report, Huizar is $54,000 in the hole, this due to the purchase of "Huizzy Goodies", given mostly to Senior Citizen Voters. Thus, as more campaign bills come due, it would not surprise us to see a "Political Soul Brothers" return engagement at The Exchange (with entry predicated on the appropriate contribution).

The Power of Political Ambition.

Only in Council District 14, can we start speculating on who will replace the "Dear Charro, Princeton Graduate", even before he is sworn in for his last "Downtown Bought", extended last term.

One person who is already garnering attention is former ELACC President and noted anti-gentrification figure Maria Cabildo, who recently was named Chief of Staff to new LA County Board of Supervisor Hilda Solis.

Cabildo, who resides in Eagle Rock, was an ardent Councilman Huizar supporter during the last election proceedings and with the self-noting Princeton Graduate, now secure in a final term, the career change for Cabildo, is being seen as a political resume enhancer for a possible 2020 CD 14 Campaign.

** When was the last time we checked in on the cyber astro-turf outpost of the political fanatics known as "Gatto Truthers"? With the "Infant Assemblyman", turned "Slobo Mikey", busy mulling over his pending 2016 State Senate Campaign defeat, by planning a possible 2018 Lt. Governor quest, his devoted cyber trolls found time to opine on the recent CD 4 Elections, which we are so glad to share .........., The big surprise in CD 4 was the showing of Steve Veres who many local Dems including these humble bloggers were pulling for since he got the Democratic Party endorsement with an impressive showing and lots of grassroots support.  Veres underperformed and we are not sure why since he had strong support from Senate Speaker Kevin Deleon; maybe he did not have the right validators in other parts of the district but of course that is just conjecture.

In a possible preview of the upcoming 2016 25th State Senate District Contest between former Assemblyman Anthony Portantino and 43rd AD Assemblyman Mike Gatto, the Portantino Slate shuts out the "Gatto Truthers" 14-0, in the recent 43rd AD Democratic Delegate Elections.  

"The Infant Assemblyman" will surely shed petulant tears after Saturday's Delegate Elections Massacre.



 "Lil Mikey" contemplating the repercussions of the Portantino Faction coming in deep to inflict a resounding Delegate Elections Whoop Ass.

What was the supposed funny background behind "Slobo Mikey's" "BREAK A RIB HAZING" of the West Valley's newest Assemblyman (by a mere 300 votes)?  

Was "Slobo Mikey's" "BREAK A RIB HAZING" a ritual of Legislature Tradition or do both have a "deeper relationship"?

Boy, a side of Assemblyman "Slobo Mikey" Gatto we never knew!

In all our coverage of a "Infant Assemblyman (prone to infantile behavior)", now all grown up as the "Slobo Mikey" of the California Assembly, we never thought that we would keyboard a missive on the newly disclosed comedic proclivities of the former "Stay at Home Lawmaker".

But with fellow former Congressman Brad Sherman Staffer Matt Dababneh (the newly bloggin bestowed "Mini Gatto" of the Assembly) sworn in as the West San Fernando Valley's 45th Assemblyman, "Slobo Mikey's" sense of humor made an appearance in a supposed Legislated Ritual of Verbal Hazing a new member's first Bill before the Elective Body.

"Slobo Mikey" wasted no time in taking to the microphone and did not beak his own rib in gently hazing "Mini Gatto" with the apparent help of Congressman Sherman's Staff via text.

In reviewing the video of "Slobo Mikey's" comedic utterance, its easy to discern some deeper meaning behind the soon to be State Senate Candidate's (allegedly) "OH! So Gentle, BREAK A RIB" utterance (wink, wink)

Thus, in the spirit of noting "Slobo Mikey's" now known comedic qualities (especially when it deals with a "close" political ally), we barrow from Late Night Host David Letterman's "Top Ten List" in keyboarding our own bloggin version of speculative reasons behind Gatto's "BREAK A RIB" comment.

Strange Blog About Assemblyman Mike Gatto

I saw this blog back when we had some kerfuffles with Assemblyman Mike Gatto, one of the strangest set of battles we ever had with an elected official as noted by several other publications at the time, but I did not realize that years later, the blog continues.

"Mike Gatto is a Sweet Dude" is a blog that celebrates the victories of Assemblyman Mike Gatto but also frequently posts a bizarre set of stories alluding to the Assemblyman's generous "manhood" as well as spewing all kinds of hatred and trash about anyone that is viewed as an opponent of Mike Gatto.

While we've been a target of the blog in the past, their more recent attacks have been directed at Ron Kaye, the former editor of the LA Daily News. Kaye has, in several local publications, been a critic of some of Gatto's policies, leading the Gatto blog to make crude sexual allegations against Kaye.

The blog, run by two individuals who claim to be named Jarvis Mitchell and Daulton Gatto, also refers to the Assemblyman as Mike "Testosterone" Gatto and has posted alleged photos of Gatto shirtless.

Are there any similar blogs dedicated to local elected officials or is this some sort of odd outlier?
