Infant Assemblyman Mike Gatto's "Temper Tantrum" over Controller's Stop Payments

The "Infant Assemblyman" lets go big time in press release below.
Dedicated to the Infant Assemblyman by an 43rd AD Political Observer.
The petulant, stay at mom's Infant Assemblyman Mike Gatto was none too happy with California Controller John Chiang's action to follow the rule of the law and stop payments to legislators who fail to pass a final budget. In the press release below, the 43rd AD Assemblyman shows his true "political age". Read Gatto's infant scree after the jump.

** EVENING UPDATE: KFI's "John and Ken" give the "Infant Assemblyman" some "Boo Hoo Love". The "Infant Assemblyman" takes his Boo Hoo Rants to the "Which Way LA" airwaves.

Subject: Press Release: Assemblyman Mike Gatto's Statement on John Chiang's Decision Not to Pay Legislature
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE          CONTACT: John Ferrera (916)319-2043June 21, 2011
Assemblyman Mike Gatto's Statement on John Chiang's Decision Not to Pay Legislature Sacramento, CA—Assemblyman Mike Gatto (D-Los Angeles) issued the following statement on John Chiang's decision not to pay the legislature.(More like rant of an infant)
"Our state government right now reminds me of a troop of boys lost in the wilderness. The goal is to get back to civilization, but the Governor seems hell-bent on forcing four people to take his chosen path, while John Chiang just wants to sit there and beat up on the unpopular kids. (One has visions of Mike, "Duhio" and Chahe wandering the political wilderness of AD 43).
It's always been an easy move to bash the disliked – but the truth is that such demagoguery is rapidly becoming cliché, and does nothing to move the state forward.(Reminds me of the Gatto Truthers)
Many of us have chosen to make the difficult decisions this year – cutting programs and raising revenue – even though those are unpopular decisions. The Legislature has proposed and passed not one, but two full budgets this year – two paths out of the wilderness – that were based on the nonpartisan LAO's recommendations.(Kinda like the difficult decision to shake Chahe's hand)
The Controller should stop checking the Legislature's approval rating and propose an alternative if he is going to behave this way. I halted a fulfilling private sector career path to enter public service. I now have to explain to my wife and daughter that we won't be able to pay the bills because a politician chose to grandstand at our expense.(From the guy who panders to parents of the mentally disabled and lives with mom)
California has officially degenerated into a Banana Republic, with one branch of government withholding the pay of another.  I wonder if the Controller plans on withholding the pay of judges if he disagrees with one of their decisions." (Oh please stop! Enough jumping up and down!)
Mike Gatto is the Assistant Speaker Pro Tempore of the California State Assembly.  He represents the cities of BurbankGlendale, and parts of Los Angeles, including Los Feliz, North HollywoodSilver LakeToluca LakeValley Glen, and Van Nuys.  Website of Assemblyman Mike Gatto: www.asm.ca.gov/gatto #  #  #

Hey "Citizen Jounalist"-

If you were more honest in your posts, maybe you could have DONE something about Gatto or Huizar.

You have squandered what little credibility you ever had, that "noone" believes you when you write anymore.

Remember all the false things you wrote about Gatto that you had to apologize and Higby deleted it all? It's things like that that kept you from getting someone else elected.

Dope.

I am ashamed to say that Boo Baby Gatto is my assemblyman from the 43 rd district. The statement is insulting to folks like me saving my pennies and trying to make ends meet. If Gatto can't plan his own family budget to live without a paycheck or two then he's useless with CA's budget mess. Call Gatto office 818 558 3043 like I did to complain. I also called John Chiang at 916 445 2636 to thank him!

Gatto supported the prop for a majority vote budget with no pay if one wasn't passed on time. He knew the possible consequences, but he underestimated Brown's and Chiang's consciences. Even they could not ignore the frivolous attempt at budgeting by Gatto and his pals.
His press release will come back to haunt him in the next primary. Serves him right.

What a steaming pile. Gatto has been slavering for a elected office for 20 years, he was thrilled to leave actual work as a lawyer.

As for explaining to his daughter, she does not know colors yet, the kid is barely a year old. This is just self pity on Gotto's part, and ugly it is, too, dragging his kid into this.

Gotto knew, everybody knew that that budget did not meet the requirements of the law. But his boss Big John told him to write a sniviling press release, and Gotto knows which teat to suck.

Beside all that, Gatto is going to have a lot more to explain to his wife than a few missed paychecks, I'd be guessing.

As a conservative Republican, all I can say is, "Thank you John Chiang. Good work." As for Mike Gatto. Is he seriously explaining to his daughter how he can't pay the bills? Keep in mind that his daughter is only 15 month old so if he's doing that, there's a reason he's no longer in the private sector. Perhaps he's taking tantrum lessons from her though. Poor baby. I work my rear off just to make a fraction of what he makes in this current economy and I don't have a per deim, car allowance or an office staff paid for by someone else. Must be rough. Welcome to the life SO many Californians find themselves in Assemblyman. It's about time you all felt a pinch up in Sacramento. Most of us have been dealing with it for YEARS now.

Is Gatto Italian for cat or pussy?

What a stupid ass press release. Do you really think he is going to sit his one year daughter down and tell her about the bills?!! And he is claiming that Chiang is grandstanding? At least Chiang has the decency not to bring his children into play.

This is somehow fitting for people who never finish what they start. John Perez and Mike Gatto never finished UC Berkely - if they had maybe would know how to finish a budget. Nobody begged you to leave your private sector "fulfilling" job Mike, why don't you go back and maybe you can hire Perez as your " go-for" - afterall he is love with you and you do lead him on.

Personal life

"Gatto is married to Danielle, a former Miss Orange County and summa cum laude graduate of UCLA. They reside in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles and have one daughter, Elliana Vivienne, who was born in March 2010."

So Gatto is trying to explain his political dispute with the Controller and the Governor to a 15 month old child?

How would that work? amazingly stupid.
