Mayor Sam Exclusive: Say Hey!! Is Kevin James Pondering a CD 12 Campaign?

A recent Poll in the 39th Assembly District sought out Voter's opinion on the favorable rating of 39th AD Assembly Candidate Raul Bocanegra ............., and City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works President Kevin James, building on speculation of a possible, "James for CD 12 Campaign".
Mayor Eric Garcetti to Kevin James: "Regarding that 39th AD Poll, should I say Very Favorable or Favorable ........, to you running for CD 12?"
Oh the love of bloggin speculation!!

As the sun rises on the latest incarnation of Monday, we focus our cyber attention on speculation regarding a former Talk Show Host, turned paid Political Appointee, with aspirations for Elective Office (allegedly).

In the last couple of weeks, the chatter has increased of a possible Campaign for City Council by former Radio Talk Show Host, now Mayor Eric Garcetti-appointed Board of Public Works President Kevin James ........,, but not in CD 5 (James current home Council District).

According to multiple sources, James is strongly considering establishing Domicile in CD 12, if the current "Councilmember/Police Officer Candidate" for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Mitch Englander, is victorious in his Campaign to replace out-going Supervisor (and current State Senate Candidate) Michael Antonovich.

The Western San Fernando Valley Council District was a stronghold of support for James during his Third Place Campaign for Mayor in 2013 ..........., and with James Endorsement, was a vital voting enclave that enable, now Mayor Garcetti to beat Wendy Greuel in the 2013 Mayoral Runoff.

But since James populist outsider, reformist Mayoral Campaign of 2013, the perception of many local activists of the now Board of Public Work President, is best exampled by the comments of former LA Daily News Editor and Civic Activist Ron Kaye in a LA Times Missive regarding James

"Kevin has joined the system," said Ron Kaye, former editor of the Los Angeles Daily News. "It's distressing to see someone who knows better buying into the idea that we have to protect the system from reform.".

Yet, the now-supposed City Hall Insider, has been "front and center" in his Board of Public Works Presidential capacity, during the on-going Porter Ranch Gas Leak Crisis, which may pay political dividends (or not) in a speculative CD 12 Campaign.

Its also apparent from a recent telephone poll in the 39th Assembly District, that the political clout of James is also on the mind of a certain political entity, as potential voters were asked to grade the likes of 39th AD Challenger Raul Bocanegra ......., and James (who endorsed Bocanegra's fellow Northeast San Fernando Valley Democratic Machine Member CD 6 City Councilwoman Nury Martinez for Election as pictured below).

Kevin James Endorsement Letter for CD 6 City Councilwoman Nury Martinez.

In ending this bloggin exercise in speculation may come to naught especially if a centain "Council Member/Police Officer Candidate" for the Board of Supervisors, is not victorious ........... but hey, if Councilmember Mitch becomes Supervisor Englander, then the discussion continues.

Images and Notes on the Upcoming Municipal Elections for Saturday

As the Candidates for City Council, LAUSD, LACCD and the dueling on either side of Charter Amendment 1 & 2, initiate their respective "Get Out The Vote (GOTV)" activities this weekend, we post for our review, news, images and notes from the various races across the city.
With appreciation to Hans Johnson from the "Save Our City Elections/No on Charter Amendment 1 & 2" Campaign, we now have our Official "Private Citizen/Deceitful Campaign Consultant" John Shallman Portrait.
** With no apologies to "Private Citizen/Deceitful Campaign Consultant" John Shallman, we make this early Tuesday Election Perdition, that the superbly orchestrated "Save Our City Elections" Campaign, will have an impact upon several City Council Elections, as those who were smart enough to join the growing "No on Charter Amendment 1 & 2 Coalition", will likely benefit from a Coattail Effect as evidenced below.
Voter sentiment on Charter Amendments 1 and 2 appears to be souring. At a community forum Wednesday, Feb. 25, in Eagle Rock attended by more than 100 people and featuring candidates for the seat representing Council District 14, including candidates who are opponents and supporters of the measures, event moderator and NBC reporter Mekahlo Medina asked the crowd for a show of hands on whether they support or oppose the charter amendments. According to estimates by several observers, more than 80 percent of attendees indicated they opposed the measures.
** The following photo was seen on the "Facebook Wall" on the politically-connected El Sereno Restaurant "Hecho En Mexico".
Would Francine's former Boss support the veracity of this message?
** As the Los Angeles Times Editorial Board takes the "Tepid White Mayor" Eric Garcetti to task for his silence in regards to taking positions on Ballot Measures and endorsing Candidates in Tuesday's Municipal Election, his appointed, paid President of the Board of Public Works Kevin James, has this message for CD 6 Voters.
Mayor Garcetti to now City Hall Insider Board of Public Works President Kevin James: "Your endorsement of CD 6 City Councilwoman Nury Martinez, looks so Establishment!!
** With a US Court Judge choosing to overlook the blatant, racial motivations behind the now litigious 2012 City of Los Angeles Redistricting Commission Backroom Dealings, City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson got a mailbox reminder of some of those supposed, racially-theme comments made behind close doors .........., and surprise, surprise, he was not too happy with the content.

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday

As the City of Los Angeles 2015 Municipal Elections campaigning shifts into high gear, union-backed Independent Expenditure Committees have so far, largely held back its financial giving to its Politicos of choice (for now).

Say Hey! Its Kevin James on the Radio Again Tonight (Saturday)

On the night on what should of been the Grand Premiere of the Randy Economy Radio Show, the Flu Bug has forced Economy to call upon, now City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works President Kevin James, to do fill in work this evening.
Hey! Mayor Eric Garcetti and his Board of Public Works President Kevin James, express their approval of Kevin's fill-in role this evening on KRLA 870 AM from 8-9 PM.
** Blogger's Note: A bloggin morning of mixed emotions as we are sadden that the must anticipated debut of the Saturday Evening Randy Economy Radio Show on KRLA 870 AM, has been delayed a week due to the Investigated Reporter being stricken with the Flu. But as we wish Randy a speedy recovery, a former night time KRLA regular will fill in for the upstart radio host this evening. Kevin James, who talked his way into a Mayoral Run for Office and parleyed his endorsement of Mayor Eric Garcetti, into an appointment as the paid President of the Board of Public Works, has graciously accepted Economy's request to replace him behind the microphone tonight. The last time James was on radio (KFI), many were reminded of the old days of 870 AM KIEV, where paid-for infomercials dedicated to self-promotion, were the norm. Being that James gets a fleeting hour of broadcast time this evening, expect to hear a rehash of City Hall-related banter from a now supposed, insider perspective. But if James wishes to defy the bloggin cynics, maybe he will have some uninhibitive thoughts on the below photos of a certain truck with Nury Martinez signs attached to its frame?
Bureau of Sanitation Truck with CD 6 Clowncilwoman Nury Martinez Signs.
We wish a speedy recovery to the award-winning Investigative Reporter and now Talk Radio Host Randy Economy.

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Hump Day

CD 15 City Clowncil Central Committee Member Joe Buscaino, along with CD 12 Clowncilman Mitch Englander, pull proposed Half Cent Sale Tax Hike, for Sidewalk and Street Infrastructure Repair, from November Ballot.
The "Average Joe from San Pedro", along with the "Spring Street RINO" make the right decision in pulling the proposed $3 Billion Dollars plus tax hike to pay for "SOS LA".
For the near future, saving our streets within LA, will have to come from existing fiscal resources.
The "Average Joe" and the "Spring Street RINO" come to their political senses.
With Mayor Eric Garcetti not willing to sign on in supporting another tax hike on Angelinos, the duo of City Clowncil Central Committee Members Joe Buscaino and Mitch Englander, blinked in their efforts to fund $3 Billion Dollars plus in new labor-friendly, public works projects, that was being sold as "Save our Streets, LA" (SOS LA).
Despite being supported by former Populist Radio Host, turned paid Board of Public Work Committee President Kevin James, the Rhodes Scholar Progressive, now Mayor Garcetti, exhibited political intuitiveness in judging that this November was not the time to place a tax hike on the ballot in what could be a high Republican turnout election.
......, and BTW, what happen to the pot holes that provided the background for showcasing the voluminous SOS LA Manuel? Hint, the right people in government obviously read this blog, photos later.
** Public Indoctrinators, whoops, Teachers Unions are raging in unaccountable anger that a mere Superior Court Judge would dare strike down Indoctrinator/Teacher Tenure Laws, that protect their Indoctrinating Brothers and Sisters, from facing termination for nefarious conduct in the classroom. We sincerely hope that this ruling stands and acts as a tool to hold the likes of a certain "Wilson High School Faculty Member" accountable for engaging inappropriate political conduct.
** As LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy commends the Vergara Ruling on Teacher Tenure, we would like to point out that District Administrators have ignore an request for an investigation into the inappropriate use of uniformed Wilson High School LAPD Magnet Cadet for political campaigning. We reported last weekend that LAPD Hollenbeck Division Captain Martin Baeza recently responded in writing, regarding the incident. Yet, LAUSD staff are either ignoring or covering up another incident involving lack of faculty oversight of students being mislead to engage inappropriate conduct by former LA-32 Neighborhood Council Elections Chairperson (and member of the race-baiting and youth exploiting El Sereno Historical Society). ** Letter to LAUSD below.

Just Say (and Vote) NO to "Save Our Streets LA" SOS Sale Tax Hike BS

With no apologies to City Clowncil Central Committee Members Joe Buscaino, Mitch Englander and Mayor Garcetti-appointed Board of Public Works President Kevin James, the only thing your $4.5 Billion Dollars-plus, "Save Our Streets Scheme" will preserve, is high-paid, union patronage at City Hall, that has been responsible for the current conditions pictured below.
Will "Save Our Streets LA" only serve to delay the fiscal crumbling of  Los Angeles into "Detroit on the Pacific"?
** Blogger's Note: As a blogging disclaimer, I take no responsibility in accepting a copy of the City of Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee's latest assault on timber reserves, but then when has the Clowncil Central Committee feign accountability for any fiscal transgressions in recent memory? That said, Neighborhood Councils Members at Saturday's Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Coalition (LANNC) Meeting were treated to a copy per NC, of Clowncil Central Committee Blue Dog Democrat Joe Buscaino and RINO Mitch Englander's proposed $4.5 Billion Dollars plus, Sales Tax Hike Scheme to "Save Our Streets and Sidewalks". We should note that the additional weight of this voluminous report in the respective vehicles of LANNC Meeting attendees was bound to have an immediate impact on LA's crumbling streets. Thus, in a moment of civic compassion, we embarked, in the spirit of activism, to find quick, bloggin usage for this latest political production, as noted below---Scott Johnson.
Living in CD 14, you do not have to venture far from home to find examples of civic neglect (especially ethical). The picture above was taken on Indiana Street between Alcazar and Valley Blvd (information for Councilman Huizar's Staffer assigned to monitor this blog).
In the spirit of objectivity, Clowncilman Huizar recently garnered fellow Clowncil Central Committee approval to transfer $250,000 from the balance of the CLARTS Fund to pay for sidewalk repairs. But one does not need to be a Princeton Graduate, to discern how many pot holes like this one, his recent $185,000 Accident could of repaired in CD 14.
Despite the best effort of Clowncil Members Buscaino, Englander and sadly, former City Hall Watchdog, turned paid Board of Public Works President Kevin James, this report will not stand up to Angelino's ire over irresponsible fiscal priorities, that can't be tax over in correcting.
At this time in civic history, LANNC needs to take a stand in opposing any tax hikes until City Hall undertakes concrete fiscal reforms that combat growing employee obligations against the General Fund. No shadow can hide the fact that "the growing pot hole of pension obligations", will swallow up all proceeds from any short term tax schemes. Thus Angelinos should ask the likes of Clowncilman Buscaino, Englander and former Talk Radio Populist, turned paid Political Opertative Kevin James, to show us the savings in reforms that will pay for this proposed Sale Tax Hike (to paraphrase Collectivist Dependentcrats, in asking Republicans how they would pay for tax cuts).
