Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday
As the City of Los Angeles 2015 Municipal Elections campaigning shifts into high gear, union-backed Independent Expenditure Committees have so far, largely held back its financial giving to its Politicos of choice (for now).
Did IBEW/ DWP Strongman Brian "D'Arcy Rizzo" throw ice water on his controlled "Working Californians IE Committee"?
Great last Monday of January to all as we begin our new bloggin week of musing with a visit to the City of Los Angeles Ethics Commission Website, in search of the 2015 Municipal Campaign Money, Independent Expenditures to be exact ........., and so far the totals are lacking.
As the Dean of City Hall Beat Writers Rick Orlov reports in this week's installment of his Daily News "Tipoff Column", the likes of IBEW/ DWP Strongman Brian "D"Arcy Rizzo's" Working Californian IE, along with those controlled by the Police Protective League (PPL), United Firefighters of Los Angeles City (UFLAC), SEIU, AFSCME, EAA and others, have so far withheld their members dues money from influencing the campaign proceedings.
But in reviewing the expenditures made in the 2013 Municipal Election proceedings, its easy to make the argument that Special Interest IEs, especially those originating from City Employee Unions, did more harm than good, in promoting the candidates of choice, especially for a certain "Boss D'Arcy Rizzo Call Greuel" of choice.
** As we await the formal announcement from former Failure Mayor Antonio Villar's "Designated Driver/ Mouthpiece/ Strategist Michael "MEAT" Trujillo on the US Senate aspirations of the former City Terrace Native, "The Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times) longtime Sacramento Columnist George "Lil Red" Skelton, revisits the "LA Antonio Times Era" of the "Former Fishwrap of Record", with column inches devoted to Antonio's "resume of experience" that would be a positive in a US Senate Campaign.
** The Whispering Campaign originating from the FORMER Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra Campaign Team against new Assemblywoman Patty Lopez, is becoming more pronounce as Left Wing Progressive Mario Solis-Marich, keyboards a missive assailing Assemblywoman Lopez's recent termination of a Democratic Operative and hiring of longtime Northeast San Fernando Valley Republican Activist Ricardo Benitez.
** Memo to fill in Radio Host and current City of LA Board of Public Work President Kevin James, a better use of your one hour with former LA County District Attorney Steve Cooley on the radio, would of been a dialog on the Montebello Political Calderon Crime Family Siblings Tom and Ron's request for a delay in their Corruption Trial and its possible impact on a certain Los Angeles City Council Election.
Your thoughts ...............

Really too bad,
Mr. Huizar ignored outreach representing over 130 homes, and 200 voters for needed walkway repair, after productive Initial meeting in October. As I canvassed Stockbridge ave. many neighbors mentioned how they have been ignored by councilman over the years with individual request.
The message is: I dont care about you. Well then we need to support someone who will care....Molina
