WANTED!! A Certain "Charles Lloyd Beck (aka LAPD Chief Charlie Beck)" ** Disclaimer: This was No Joke
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge David Herrifordissued the bench warrant at the request of defense attorney Nana Gyamfi after Beck and the City Attorney’s office failed to show up in court in the trial of Luz Flores and Evan Bunch on Tuesday. Both Flores and Bunch are charged with multiple counts of resisting arrest, battery on a peace officer and trespassing. This after they were arrested last year in the process of trying to speak with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti at Mt. Carmel Recreational Center in South Los Angeles on the opening night of the Summer Night Lights program. These are also the same two individuals that both the Mayor and police chief were denied a restraining order against.
........, and about that "Body Attachment"?
A bench warrant with a body attachment is just what it sounds like. It is in effect an order to go and seize a person and bring them to the judge that issued the attachment. So for just over 24 hours one of Chief Beck’s officers could have legally gone and done just that.
We ponder how a new certain "Community Relations Unit (and its Beck-friendly Captain)" would of documented this?

Is Cal State University LA, a State Sponsor of Fascist Intolerance of Free Speech?
“After careful consideration, I have decided that it will be best for our campus community if we reschedule Ben Shapiro’s appearance for a later date, so that we can arrange for him to appear as part of a group of speakers with differing viewpoints on diversity. Such an event will better represent our university’s dedication to the free exchange of ideas and the value of considering multiple viewpoints.”
At Cal State LA, President's Covino's dedication "to the free exchange of ideas and the value of considering multiple viewpoints", is apparently inclusive of the various usage of "Sex Toys (without counter viewpoints of those espousing Abstinence before Marriage)" ......., but that was before concern (and tuition, along with student fees-paying) parents went to the local media regarding the Student Body Fees-financed event, prompting its just cancellation.
Another aspect, and potentially a litigious one, worth noting regarding President Covino's actions, is the use of mandatory Student Fees to promote exclusively, a one-sided political viewpoint to the CSULA Student Body.
As the main Website for YAF noted, the University sponsored (via usage of funds) various Leftist-themed lectures over recent times and judging from the content, we ponder if President Covino would of approved of using Student Fees, if Shapiro was espousing a "Jews with Hamas" premise in his speech?
• Dr. Cornel West addressed “Post Racialism”• Alia al-Saji spoke on "Cultural Racism: Muslim Veiling, Embodiment, and the Nature of Culture”• Kimberlé Crenshaw addressed "Racing to Post Racialism: Critical Race Theory, Constitutional Law, and Sustaining Communities"• Serene Khader lectured on the topic, "Do Muslim Women Really Need Freedom?"• Angela Davis and Tim Wise will address in a video lecture “Exploring Whiteness” this Wednesday
Using the analogy of Union Dues being forced upon employees with a contrary political point of view, tuition-paying parents and students could make a litigious argument that their mandatory fees are not being evenly spent on presenting lectures with opposite viewpoints. Thus, YAF is correct in moving forward with the Shapiro appearance ........, and in seeking legal redress if University Officials interfere.

Molina Power!! Councilman Cedillo and Supervisor Solis reaffirm Support for Molina-crafted Flat Top Open Space Purchase
For the record, the vision of Montecito Heights Improvement Association President Roy Payan, with help of former Supervisor Molina and the respected Environmental Non-Profit Organization, Northeast Trees, to preserve the Landmark Property, by its inclusion into the Public Land Inventory of the City of Los Angeles Recreation & Parks (and not the Land Bank Fiefdom of Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy(SMMC)/Mountain Recreation and Conservation Authority's (MRCA Joe "Big Oil" Edmiston), will become reality.

Another Broken Deal Cedillo (and Supervisor Solis) Moment regarding the Flat Top Open Space Acquisition?
The purchase of about 37 acres is expected to be completed next month, said Megan Moret, press deputy for County Supervisor Gloria Molina, who agreed to use her office’s allocation of Prop A funds to finance the deal. The funds will allow North East Trees, an environmental group, to purchase the property but the City of Los Angeles will eventually take control of the property, Moret said.
........, or so they thought.
However, MRCA, the operational arm of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, the largest conservancy in the nation, surprised the county by saying it would drop its lawsuit in exchange for cash. If the drilling project moves forward and oil is extracted and sold, MRCA would get $280 million, or about $11.25 million a year for the life of the project.
Thus, is it fair to ponder whether "Ranger Joe" is scheming to "Land Bank" the prime real estate of Flat Top, until the market presents the best opportunity to sell off the acreage to a Developer?

Will City Attorney Mike Feuer's $20 Million Lawsuit against Da Vinci Complex Owner include Investigation of City Oversight of Torched Project?
The lawsuit alleges GH Palmer Associates used improper and defective construction methods including: failing to have an appropriate fire protection plan; failing to compartmentalize construction; failing to property install fire walls or doors; having an appropriate water supply for fire suppression; and failing to have appropriate security measures that would prevent incursion by unwanted individuals.
Those supposed facts ARE SURE to further fan the flames of speculation, that Huizar's support of Palmer's controversial Project (with reciprocal campaign support), came with "accommodations from city agencies", that conjures memories of an alleged "City-wide Sam", who could pull and approve any permit, for the right price (with approval from certain Officeholders), again allegedly.

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Tuesday
** LAPD Charlie Beck does not do investigated journalism .........., especially at the cost to his image as KNBC Channel Four discloses via its report on the Counter-Terrorism readiness (or lack of) of the department's Metro Unit.
** Continuing on Chief Beck .........., retire former Parole Officer Caroline Aguirre has another Exclusive on the apparent disdain of department's "Meet and Confer Rules" by LA's Top Cop, as he disbands the Parole Compliance Unit without notifying the Police Protective League.
** 25th State Senate District Candidate (formerly a LA County Board of Supervisor) Mike Antonovich is calling for random health inspections of Porter Ranch homes in the aftermath of the now-capped Gas Leak.
** The "Burning LaBonge of Public Transparency" has lit the flame on another Lawsuit regarding his "putting to flame" of Public Documents from his time as the CD 4 City Councilman.
** The LAPD Hollenbeck Division is again Ground Zero for another Hit and Run Death of a pedestrian as a young National Guardsman/Computer Science Student is killed at or near the intersection of Cesar Chavez and Chicago in Boyle Heights.
** CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar goes "anti-huevon" in seeking a speed up in action regarding the community impact from the shuttered Vernon Exide Battery Plant.

The Brian Hews/Los Chacon News Journalistic Malpractice Disclaimers for 2-13-16
** Blogger's Note: Its a blistering, Saturday, February 13, 2016 as we recommence our regular bloggin feature that extrapolates the truth .........., while serving as a Public Disclosure of factually-challenged, "Wanton Missives of Distortions (WMDs)", as we present this First Edition of "The Brian Hews/Los Chacon News Journalistic Malpractice Disclaimers" for 2016.
On this eve of Valentine's Day 2016, we bring you this bloggin missive chronicling the "Conditional Political Love Affair", between a supposed, former award-winning Editor/Journalistic, now exposed as a factually-challenged "Propagandist for Hire" ............, and an infamous Southeast Los Angeles Political (Crime) Family, allegedly.
Without encroaching on the graphic boundaries of broaching Too Much Information (TMI), we want to give witness to the current state of this "Conditional Political Love Affair", as exampled by the now benchmark standard of factually-challenged missives in the formerly "Weekly of Record, Los Cerritos New", now the mere weakly, "Brian Hews/Los Chacon News".
In this week's Edition of the "Brian Hews/Los Chacon News", Propagandist.Brian takes to keyboard in crafting the subjective "Central Basin Water GM Trumping Ethics Violation Charges Against Director" and does anyone want to guess which "Director" is being provided cover via yet, another factually-challenged missive, crafted to the specifications of protecting the Calderon Crime Family Old Guard? Hint, he is reference on the video below, "seeking money".
Now, with the first opportunity to demonstrate to State lawmakers that CB is serious about cleaning up the infighting and “poor leadership” at the embattled agency, Hunt is lashing out at CB Director Art Chacon in a malicious attempt to launch a bogus investigation and discredit the long-time director.
Memo to Propagandist Brian, the last time I can recollect someone standing SO close in supposedly protecting the "big backside" of a "Political Love One", was in the prison-themed movie "American Me", and hopefully, any future disclosures on the "relationship" between you and the Brother Chacons, will not promote anymore of those analogies.
But regardless of your attempted crafting of Spin to protect your "Bad Boy Art", the Whittier Star News reports that someone was contrite (partly) for once, when caught in another act of political deceit.
Meanwhile, the board’s Administration and Ethics Committee Friday ordered an investigation into accusations that recycled water projects have been blocked for the sake of political retribution. General Manager Kevin Hunt said the letter of apology received from Director Art Chacon, who was quoted making the charges, only included Hunt in his letter.“We asked him to revise it to include the directors but no final letter was ever (received),” Hunt said. Chacon didn’t return a phone call seeking comment.
That's because their hired Propagandist was doing what the Brother Chacons love best, which is crafting disinformation, at the cost of turning a once award-winning "Weekly of Record", into a weakly, devoid of substance ......, as excerpted below.
HMG-CN Publisher Brian Hews said, “I never reveal my sources, that is the poison pill for a journalist. Hunt is assuming Chacon told me. Fact is, I had more than one person, both inside and outside CB, tell me that sales are being held up for political payback, isn’t it obvious? There are over 250 customers waiting to be hooked into CB’s recycled water system.”
Yet sadly for Brian, the poison arrow that the "Chacon Cupid" shot into him, has promoted a "Conditional Political Love Affair" that is deserving of Valentine's Day accommodations, within a confined, barred location.

CD 7 City Councilman Felipe Fuentes 2015 FY General City Purposes Fund Report
But why is Fuentes rushing this already controversial DWP reform plan to the ballot without engaging in a robust and transparent discussion and debate that involves Ratepayer participation? After all, he needs our votes to approve the necessary charter amendments and $221 million Transfer Fee. According to speculation by City Hall insiders, Fuentes is either angling to be a full time, paid Commissioner (would you call that reform!) or a high ranking executive in IBEW Local 18, the DWP’s domineering union, so that he is in line to succeed Union Bo$$ d’Arcy as the union’s highly compensated Business Manager.

Former LA County Sheriff Lee Baca to Plead Guilty to Lying regarding Jailhouse Corruption Probe
Retired Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca will plead guilty in a downtown courtroom Wednesday to making false statements, marking a dramatic turn in the ongoing federal investigation into corruption in the Sheriff's Department.According to a charging document filed by federal prosecutors on Wednesday morning, Baca lied about his involvement in keeping an inmate away from FBI agents who wanted to interview him about brutality and corruption by sheriff’s deputies in the county jails.Baca also lied when he said he was unaware that his subordinates planned to approach an FBI special agent at her home, the document said.Baca's attorney, Michael Zweibeck, said his client had agreed to plead guilty to a single count as part of a deal with prosecutors that will see him spend no more than six months in prison and possibly no time at all.
Don't expect Baca to make many License Plates, if any, during vacation time at Club Fed----Scott Johnson.
