The AB-109/Prop 47 Mike Feuer Crime Blotter HOT Briefs for Monday

As the debacle of former Assemblyman (now City Attorney) Mike Feuer co-authored AB-109 Prison Realignment, mixed with Prop 47, manifests itself in Rising Crime Rates throughout Los Angeles (and Statewide), various community groups are demanding a larger share of a finite amount of available Law Enforcement Officers.
Cringing when witnessing the debacle of City Attorney Mike Feuer's role in crafting AB-109.
The co-enablers of "Policing through Cronyism".
** Blogger's Note: Great Monday after the Super Bowl to all as our 2016 Crime-themed, "Super Bowl with Huizzy Contest Satire", became all too real in Boyle Heights yesterday morning as a car with three passengers, knocked a house off its foundation, after being targeted in a shooting that resulted in the deaths of the male driver, a female passenger and injuries to a third person.
The brazen, near mid-day shooting and resulting crash within Churro-length of Mariachi Plaza, is the latest homicide within the Hollenbeck Division Jurisdiction that has contributed to its second-ranked, highest increase in Violent Crimes city-wide.
Horrific Scene in Boyle Heights on Sunday.

The Thugs who nearly killed SF Giants Fan Bryan Stow get off easy thanks to Mike Feuer's Co-Authoring of AB-109

For the family of beating victim, San Francisco Giants Fan Bryan Stow, the "Roulette Ball of Justice" landed on "Miscarriage of", as the Thugs who nearly kill him, get off with light terms, influence by now City Attorney Mike Feuer's co-authoring of AB-109.
This supposed Attack Mailer from former City Attorney Carmen Trutanich, has today become a prophetic Campaign Flyer of Truth.
*Blogger's Note: For Angelinos, the senseless beating of a father, paramedic and San Francisco Giants Fan Bryan Stow, was a blunt reminder how the current state of sports rivalries, are becoming a reflection on our society. What was once an innocuous, verbal back and forth exercise in rhetoric, using clean language, has now became a serious introspection on degrading social mores, when partaking in the fan experience. Sadly, as social mores are dumbed down and incidents like the heinous beating of Stow, become too common place at sporting events, a check and balance to counter deviant social behavior, called Justice, has been degraded due to the actions of now City Attorney Mike Feuer. Continue below ...............
....... As Bryan Stow fought to remain alive, with the prayers of family, community and with the superb help of the medical staff at LA County-USC Medical Center, then Assemblyman Mike Feuer was in Sacramento, co-author what has and will be known as the Prison Realignment Debacle, or simply AB-109. Based upon political expediency, more than public safety, thousands of supposed "Low Level, Non Violent, Non-Revocable Parolees" are making their way back onto the streets, impacting crime rates (despite the propaganda of LAPD's Com-stats pronouncements), and what affect did AB-109 have on today's sentencing of the duo that beat Stow into a life term of assisted living? Continue below .............
........... Thanks, in part to AB-109, the vile duo pictured above, face the following, after pleading guilty in accepting a Plea Bargain; Louis Sanchez, eight year in prison (** with credit for 1086 days served and may serve as little as two years in State Prison, thanks in part to AB-109), this considering the Prosecution specified that he cut and disabled Stow's tongue, put out an eye and slit his nose, ear and lip in addition to other injuries that left him brain damaged. No wonder this piece of crap was smirking as Superior Court Judge George Lomeli read the sentences. For Marvin Norwood, four years in prison (** with his credit for time already in custody appeared to account for at least the majority of that term. Deputy District Attorney Michele Hanisee said Norwood could be released immediately, without LA County Probation Supervision. thanks in full to AB-109).  Thankfully, we still have the Federal Case involving firearms procession which may add 10 years to what AB-109 has taken away in reducing prison time. And consider the following ...........
Will now City Attorney Mike Feuer comment on today;s Miscarriage of Justice?
.......... This is a perfect example of the severe flaws with AB 109. Do to the overwhelming court cost, along with prison overcrowding, more than 75 % of current criminal offenders awaiting trial for serious or violent criminal offenses, are now being allowed to enter into plea agreements to lesser non violent criminal offenses. No longer are these convicted criminal offenders being held accountable for their violent criminal offenses. Thus, will the LA Times state the above again, come re-election time for City Attorney Mike Feuer in 2017? The growing AB-109 Body Count may influence that.

Say No to Credential-Lacking and Scandal-Prone Terri McDonald for Interim Sheriff

A retire State of California Parole Officer Caroline Aguirre, states the multiple reasons why Terri McDonald deserves not to be appointed the Interim Sheriff, replacing a retiring Lee Baca.
Sheriff Lee Baca's under qualified choice to replace him as Interim Sheriff, Terri McDonald.

** Blogger's Note: On Tuesday, the LA County Board of Supervisors will meet and decide whether to follow the recommendation of scandal-laden, retiring Sheriff Lee Baca, by naming Baca underling Terri McDonald as Interim Sheriff. McDonald herself, has "baggage" from her recent times with California Department of Corrections and was recently disclosed in a LA Times expose (or an accidental Act of Journalism), to be not qualify for the appointment. But behind the scenes speculation, is that a McDonald appointment would be seen favorably by California Governor Jerry Brown, who valued McDonald's help in pushing the AB 109 Prison Realignment Debacle during her time in the Department of Corrections. Thus, the LA County Board of Supervisors, despite McDonald's lack of credentials ( ** and scandals of her own as noted by Caroline Aguirre), may anoint McDonald as the county's top cop in return for additional state-funding via Governor Brown---Scott Johnson

Who is the real Terri McDonald ? When she departed from her employment with the California Department of Corrections she like so many others decided to go into double dipping and obtain new employment now with an appointment by Sheriff Lee Baca as a new Assistant Sheriff to be in charge of Los Angeles County' Jail facilities. McDonald like Margareta Perez ( one of the new Assistant Chiefs with the Los Angeles County Probation Department ) left the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation  and the Division of Adult Parole Operations in complete shambles.
McDonald covered up investigations of misconduct by both Prison Administrators and Parole Administrators.  Contributed to the elimination of both vocational and rehabilitative programs within the California Prison System.derailed the Division of Adult Parole Operations .
She also played a role in the coverup of the current investigation where more than 100 females inmates claimed that they were swayed to sign off on documentation for sterilization. The signed off sterilization forms were not sent up to a special medical committee in Sacramento for approval. A major violation of Corrections policy. A law suit has been filed. Responsible to a degree for the continued lack of oversight to monitor the Federal Courts mandates surrounding the California Prison system. Failure to provide updated truthful documentation for the Federal Courts.
Failure to find solutions for the massive California State Prison overcrowding without causing damage to the overall health and welfare to the residents of the state of California.  Coverup and or the  destruction of documentation surrounding  the true data and numbers of parolees failures as a result  AB 109. Mandated that hundreds of parolees be discharged early from continued parole supervision as to save the state money. Many of those individuals have been rearrested for new very violent criminal offenses  to include  murders, rape and other violent assaults .
Already the first of many wrongful death law suits have been filed surrounding AB 109. A High Risk Sex offender raped , and then beat his grandmother to Death. More recently prior to her departure from her employment with Corrections she played a role in having a parole supervisor  served with adverse actions because she dared to come forward and tell the news media that she was ordered and instructed by both Corrections and Parole Administrators ( Perez ) not to submit parole violation reports on  those parolees classified as High Risk Sex offenders who removed their GPS tracking devises. California State Senator Ted Lieu in response to the news media reports wrote SB 57 , which states that any paroled sex offender who tampers or removes their GPS device must receive a parole violation and a revocation time of 180 days.
CNN did an excellent TV special on this topic and the failures of AB 109.  McDonald was a key player in pushing forth AB 109. One should ask if she received her appointment as a result of her connections to Jerry Brown. We have already seen here in our county the horrible outcome of AB 109. Four people shot in the head and killed by a gang member who was placed under AB 109 in Northridge. A young child kidnapped and raped by yet another individual under AB 109 and again in Northridge. A young female in Hollywood killed by a male under AB 109 because she refused to give him a dollar. A young mother in Long Beach killed by a hard core gang member under AB 109, a Sixteen year civilian employee of the LA.Co. Sheriff's Department killed after being caught in the crossfire  of a gang shooting in Pasadena and a young father working two jobs to support his family killed by yet another hard core gang member in Highland Park.
The California Department of Corrections is currently facing hundreds of civil law suits and yet today in the Sacramento Bee, there is mention of yet another law suit which has just been filed. A Federal Judge has demanded an immediate investigation surrounding an inmates death  and also told the Department of Corrections  "Not to Destroy or lose any written Documentation "
Now I ask you  , how many of these current  pending law suits against the California of Corrections  have Terri McDonald' name on them ? McDonald should never have been hired on by Lee Baca.  But how many members of our County Board of Supervisors already knew about McDonald'  questionable past ?  One should ask McDonald why she consented to and failed to object to the multiple promotions of Maria Franco  aka Queen of the Sex Offender Shuffle ( David Goldstein TV Special ), Protest marches by community residents in 2008 , a large Community meetings in Alhambra also in 2008 aired on TV # 5.

"Campaign Money and Prisoner Dumping Expert", City Attorney Mike Feuer, targets "Patient Dumping" on Skid Row

Noted "Dumping Expert" City Attorney Mike Feuer goes after illegal Patient Dumping on Skid Row. But what other "dumping issue" of his co-authoring is he ignoring in the same area?
City Attorney Mike Feuer (third from left) with his fellow Campaign Money Dumping Friends from Bet Tzedek.
Care to join us for a bloggin Saturday Post Dump?
In reviewing yesterday's print edition of the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times), any local political bloggin muser of record, could not help but to take notice of the story regarding new City Attorney's Mike Feuer's initiative to stop the practice of Patient Dumping on Skid Row.
While the fact that a sitting City Attorney would continue to stop the practice of Patient Dumping on Skid Row should come as no surprise (considering how finite Social Services resources are strained by the action), but this, coming from new City of Los Angeles top legal official, is a bloggin cause to note former City Attorney Carmen Trutanich's replacement past "dumping proclivities".
Lets remember that this blog was front and center in chronicling now City Attorney Mike Feuer's past controversial "dumping issues" and we dare note today, that this new Patient Dumping crusade may be an attempt to mask "a continuing, and medically dangerous dumping concern of his own co-authoring" in the same area.
During his successful campaign to replace former City Attorney Carmen Tratanich, candidate Mike Feuer was the recipient $30,000 plus of campaign money dumping from employees and associates of the Fairfax area Legal Non-Profit Bet Tzedek, which had one time employed Feuer as its Executive Director.
But the most egregious Feuer "dumping proclivity" (and not exploited to its maximum potential by the Trutanich Campaign), was his co-authoring of the AB-109 Prison Realignment Debacle which is supposedly responsible for an increase in the crime rate in the Skid Row and Downtown area.
Supposed "Low Level, Non Violent, Non-Revocable Parolees" (some with serious, contagious medical issues) are being relocated to Skid Row from the state prisons and county jails as the County of Los Angeles deals with former Assemblyman Feuer's Sacramento "co-creation".
Thus, why should we be surprise that a career politician with a new office title, would practice the art of "policy dumping" to cover up the "co-authored dumping policy debacle" from his previous political gig?

Steve "Mini Riordan I" Soboroff's Mouthful First Day as LAPD Commission Chairperson

From former Los Angeles Dodgers Owner Frank McCourt "Foot in Mouthpiece" to new LAPD Police Commission Chairperson, Steve "Mini-Riordan I" Soboroff has never been at a lost for words.
New LAPD Commission Chairperson Steve "Mini-Riordan I" Soboroff

Playa Vista Developer/ Political Insider/ Former Mayoral Candidate Steve Soboroff will never be the politico poster child of understating a given cause or policy position.
Beginning his Recreation and Parks Commission days in the 1990's, mixed with a fail mayoral campaign, a successful effort to develop the massive Playa Vista Project and a disjointed stint as the "Foot in Mouthpiece" for reviled, former LA Dodgers Owner Frank McCourt, "Mini-Riordan I" Soboroff has never been accuse of an understatement (maybe with bombast for added affect).
Witness the very first moments yesterday after his selection by Police Commission peers as its new Chairperson. "Mini-Riordan I" emulated his fellow RINO Republican mentor ( by taking a hasty policy position) in pontificating on his desire that all LAPD field officers be equip with uniform-fitting video cameras.
On the surface, the idea has merit and should undergo further vetting, but just espousing a new policy position for the sake of garnering column inches in the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" ( BTW, just think of the coverage "Min-Riordan I" would be receiving today in a Dick Riordan owned fishwrap, but I digress), does not gloss over "big picture" policy issues that are of more paramount concern.
For example, now LAPD Commission President "Mini-Riordan I" Soboroff needs to reform the politically-corrupt "Com-Stat Crime Reporting System" that has seen LAPD Senior Lead Officers become political shills for Police Chief Charlie Beck's cover-up on the true levels of violent crimes in LA.
But even of more paramount concern, is the impact of AB-109 Prison Realignment on an already, overextended LAPD. "Mini-Riordan I" Soboroff should ponder what good video-equipping LAPD patrol officers will do when close to 300 Blue Liners are being redeploy from street duties, to deal with the ramifications of now City Attorney Mike Feuer's Legislative Co-authored "Non Revocable Parolee/ Non-Violent Offender" debacle.
We wish "Mini-Riordan I" the best in his new public calling, but as in the case of his former Mayor/ Mentor, putting thought before espousing, is better than swallowing foot.

Charlie Sheen's Cabo Drinking Buddy Mayor Villar to endorse Assemblyman Mike Feuer for City Attorney

Fresh back from his alleged Cabos Drinking Misadventures with Charlie Sheen, Mayor Antonio Villar will announce his endorsement of AB 109 Prison Realignment supporter Assemblyman Mike Feuer this morning in Boyle Heights.
Maybe Charlie Sheen will ponder whether his alleged drinking buddy's supposed endorsed candidate for City Attorney's support of AB 109 Prison Realignment, has increased alcohol-related crimes in Los Angeles?
Mayor Villar and his supposed choice for City Attorney Assemblyman Mike Feuer, make eye contact.

Mayor Sam has learned that Mayor Antonio Villar will endorse Assemblyman Mike Feuer in a 9:30 AM presser at the Variety Boys and Girls Club in Boyle Heights. Intuitive political observers may question the timing and why the Feuer Campaign would seek the endorsement of the outgoing mayor, especially coming on the heels of the nationally discussed Mayor Villar's alleged "Cabos Drinking Misadventures" with Charlie Sheen.
Further, local residents may want to question Assemblyman's Feuer's support of AB 109 Prison Realignment which has been responsible for a spike in gang crimes in the immediate area around the Variety Boys and Girls facility just northwest of Cesar Chavez and Mott Street.

** Update: The Trutanich Campaign has the following response to Mayor Villar's endorsement of Assemblyman Mike Feuer, which you can review in whole after the jump. An excerpt below---S.J.

We think Mayor Villaraigosa is making a serious mistake by endorsing a career politician like former Assemblyman Michael Feuer, who last represented Beverly Hills and Bel-Air and learned the ropes on how to create a fiscal mess in Sacramento - the capital of dysfunctional and incompetent government.
Fortunately the polls show the people are not fooled by the Feuer campaign. Two polls (one by Loyola Marymount's School for the Study of Los Angeles and the other an internal poll commissioned by the campaign) show Trutanich as the clear frontrunner. In fact, our internal poll shows Trutanich trouncing Feuer after the pollster told voters about the good, the bad and the ugly about each candidate.
The Trutanich campaign will accept the approval of the voters over the endorsement of City Hall insiders any day

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Hump Day

Governor Moonbeam II cries uncle to Ninth Circus Court on California Prison Overcrowding.
Governor Moonbeam II and "Greece on the Pacific" Democrats support of Prison Realignment via AB 109, has been a deadly debacle.

Great Hump Day to all as we start this morning on one of the deadly debacles of state legislation in recent history, AB 109 aka Prison Realignment. As Governor Moonbeam II cries uncle to the “Federal Ninth Circus Court”, in seeking to regain state oversight of the “Greece on the Pacific’s” state prison system, retire Parole Officer Caroline Aguirre was on KFI’s “John and Ken Show” yesterday outing those in local and state politics (Sheriff Lee Baca, City Attorney Carmen Trutanich and all democratic state legislators, minus Anthony Portatino), who supported dumping thousands of supposed “Low Level, Non Violent Offenders/ Non-Revocable Parolees” back on the streets. Aguirre did not hold back in also outing those in the Parole Department (Maria Franco), who have cover up the numerous failing of Parole employees in keeping dangerous criminals behind bars. Every reader of this post, should educate themselves on the deadly debacle of AB 109, by linking here to the “John and Ken Show” Podcast. (4:30 PM segment) We like to thank John and Ken for their public service in giving Caroline Aguirre the opportunity to spread the word on this deadly legislation.

** Memo to Mayoral Candidate City Controller Wendy “The Villar Greuel”. Your campaign's repugnant personal attack on journalist Randy Economy shows that you are worthy of the moniker bestowed upon you. Like Mayor Antonio Villar, you share his proclivities in attacking members of the press when an inconvenient truth regarding your campaign, correction, work schedule are made public.

** The Kevin James for Mayor Campaign garnered the wrath of The Villar Greuel Campaign for calling upon the City Attorney to investigate the current City Controller, regarding whether she violated city rules pertaining to campaigning on city time.

** Despite numerous visits by labor and democratic officials (as disclosed by Randy Economy), the Los Angeles County Democratic Party choose not to endorse the Villar Greuel and the other mayoral candidates before the March Elections. AB 109 supporter Assemblyman Mike Feuer and insider Ron Galperin picked up the "Dependentcrat's" endorsements for City Attorney and City Controller respectively.

** The Villar Greuel was shunned by her fellow activists sisters as the National Organization of Woman chose to endorse City Councilman Eric Garcetti.

AND LASTLY!! Mayor Antonio Villar fell back upon his “City Terrace, Born to Raise Hell Persona", in dealing with the media rabid interest in his excellent Cabo San Lucas Party with Charlie Adventures”. One reporter can be heard telling the former Tony Villar whether “What happens in Cabos, stays in Cabos? Sorry Tony! Not when you are seeking gainful, federal employment.

Bloggin Happy Hour Musings on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Wedneday

Another Happy Hour Drink via Mayor Tony Villar.

Great Happy Hour Musings on the LA Political Machine for Wednesday. Join us as we tip the glass and enlighten you on these political items that may find their way into someone's decaff morning coffee in the A.M. ; ) --- Scott Johnson.
Responsible politicos always keep a designated driver on payroll.

**  Mayor Antonio Villar, CD12 City Councilman Mitch Englander and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck took podium time to announce the arrest of the suspect in the Boarding House Murders in Northridge. According to a reliable source, the main suspect is another product of the Parole Debacle known as AB 109. Journalist Katherine Russ has penned a must read missive at City Watch on the deadly consequences of Prison Realignment. More here later on the mounting toll of victims via “Non-Revoke able Parole, Low Level, Non-Violent Offenders”.

** Mayor Villar is getting props from the formerly “LA Antonio Times” for his swift action that brought a negotiated closure to the costly work action at the Ports of LA and Long Beach. In recent days, the “Old Gray Hag on Spring Street” has shown signs of returning to its enabling proclivities as the pro P.R. newsprint for the coming next political incarnation of the politico from City Terrace.

** Leave it to the City Clowncil Central Committee to decree that the act of parking in a space with an malfunctioning parking meter will cost you.

** ….. And back to the coming new political incarnation of the soon to be private citizen Antonio Villar? LA Weekly’s Gene Maddaus details “Citizen Villar’s” new partnership with the “1% Crony Capitalist Elites”.
