Michael Trujillo: King of Spin

FADE IN
INT. OFFICE - DAY
ACE, A middle aged man in shirtsleeves and a plain tie sits at his desk. TRUJILLO, his young and eager to please assistant stands at his side.  There is a door in the wall behind ACE's desk.

ACE
Trujillo, I want you to run Prop B.

TRUJILLO
(excitedly)
Gee, thanks boss!
ACE
There's no opposition except a bunch of yahoos with no money. You can't fuck it up.
TRUJILLO
Can I give speeches and stuff?

ACE
Shut up and get me a cup of coffee.
TRUJILLO turns to face the door; kicks up his heels, opens the door and dances happily as he exits the room and closes the door behind him.
FADE OUT
If you enjoy seeing Michael Trujillo spin in print; here's rare footage of the newly appointed manager of Measure Boondoggle trying to spin - and not succeeding - the folks at the LA Neighbohood Council Coalition.
Watch away dum dums!

Given this guy's history, it's amazing Ace thought he could get away with this foolishness. The floodgates just opened.

Councilman's staffer arrested

The deputy chief of staff for City Councilman Jose Huizar was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence, authorities said Monday.

Henry Casas, 40, Huizar's deputy chief of constituent outreach, was booked in lieu of $50,000 bail at the LAPD's Van Nuys jail on New Year's Eve, authorities said.

He later posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 23.

Police officials did not provide details of the incident, including the relationship of the alleged victim to the council aide, but confirmed that the arrest took place at his San Fernando Valley home.

In a statement, Huizar said he had placed Casas on paid administrative leave until the investigation is resolved.

Villaraigosa, Bratton expect crime to dip in 2009

This is ridculous to have the Mayor included with crime stats from the chief. Who the hell does he think he is? Again, Hahn had his own accomplishments and didn't need to always be intrusive into LAPD business. This is the first Mayor to intrude on anything LAPD because like Jill Stewart said yesterday on 790AM this Mayor DOES NOTHING. He's a joke and clown in this city and no one takes him seriously.

Trujillo is dogging on DWP, OK, maybe, but DWP's very own JOE AVILLA, one time District 14 Chief of Staff, is sitting there sinking it all in during the first part of the video sitting right behind Trujillo on camera.

Avilla doesn't try to defend his bread & butter-givin agency even for a second and doesn;t even seem like whats being said might not be true. There's not even a shake of the head to show the one dude there from the actual DWP might not agree with what's being said bad about DWP.

Whassup wid dat? Is that the plan? Go to the people, say bad things about DWP to make the people think you're on their side so the people will vote for this hot mess you call Measure B, when DWP's in on the game the whole time and even sending their own stooge to watch the carnival from the sideline?

I've received a lot of e-mails from people saying the Mayor and the city council members who were at the press conf. with Jewish Federation should not be getting involved in this fight. The Mayor is going to be on the side of Israel tonight at the protests. This is wrong. He doesn't know enough about the fighting and it will incite and piss off the Palistines who live here in LA and make things worst. What do you people think?

I could hear the sighs coming all the way from Isreal yesterday when Mayor Tony announced that he was "standing" by Isreal. I hear the Isreali defense forces were especially heartened by the news that the Mayor was behind them. Man, that Mayor of ours is really a stand-up guy (when it comes to issues that have zilch to do with the city of Los Angeles). I wonder how much the security detail for the Mayor's trip to the photo op cost the citizens of Los Angeles. Money well spent!!

Villar has no business opening his mouth about ANY foreign affairs! He's a Mexican national and an agent of Mexico! He does NOT represent Americans or our interests.

For the record, Villar is extremely anti-Semetic...having told his aides frequently...that he wouldn't be happy until all the Jews were out of power in LA! His loyalties are ONLY to Mexico and the Mexican mafia in LA!

Again, he is making a total ass out of himself by interjecting his support of Israel! He knows NOTHING about politics, foreign or domestic. And worse yet...he couldn't care less about any country except Mexico!

He is an embarrassment to this city...just watching him try to string two sentences together is painful!

He's illiterate and ignorant. Welcome to "Al Lay"!!! I'm gonna puke!

To the guy who left a comment about Mike Trujillo's mom I do not think we need to discuss her so I did not approve your comment.
