"Campaign Money and Prisoner Dumping Expert", City Attorney Mike Feuer, targets "Patient Dumping" on Skid Row

Noted "Dumping Expert" City Attorney Mike Feuer goes after illegal Patient Dumping on Skid Row. But what other "dumping issue" of his co-authoring is he ignoring in the same area?
City Attorney Mike Feuer (third from left) with his fellow Campaign Money Dumping Friends from Bet Tzedek.
Care to join us for a bloggin Saturday Post Dump?
In reviewing yesterday's print edition of the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times), any local political bloggin muser of record, could not help but to take notice of the story regarding new City Attorney's Mike Feuer's initiative to stop the practice of Patient Dumping on Skid Row.
While the fact that a sitting City Attorney would continue to stop the practice of Patient Dumping on Skid Row should come as no surprise (considering how finite Social Services resources are strained by the action), but this, coming from new City of Los Angeles top legal official, is a bloggin cause to note former City Attorney Carmen Trutanich's replacement past "dumping proclivities".
Lets remember that this blog was front and center in chronicling now City Attorney Mike Feuer's past controversial "dumping issues" and we dare note today, that this new Patient Dumping crusade may be an attempt to mask "a continuing, and medically dangerous dumping concern of his own co-authoring" in the same area.
During his successful campaign to replace former City Attorney Carmen Tratanich, candidate Mike Feuer was the recipient $30,000 plus of campaign money dumping from employees and associates of the Fairfax area Legal Non-Profit Bet Tzedek, which had one time employed Feuer as its Executive Director.
But the most egregious Feuer "dumping proclivity" (and not exploited to its maximum potential by the Trutanich Campaign), was his co-authoring of the AB-109 Prison Realignment Debacle which is supposedly responsible for an increase in the crime rate in the Skid Row and Downtown area.
Supposed "Low Level, Non Violent, Non-Revocable Parolees" (some with serious, contagious medical issues) are being relocated to Skid Row from the state prisons and county jails as the County of Los Angeles deals with former Assemblyman Feuer's Sacramento "co-creation".
Thus, why should we be surprise that a career politician with a new office title, would practice the art of "policy dumping" to cover up the "co-authored dumping policy debacle" from his previous political gig?

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Tuesday

As the candidates for mayor prep for today's "much-discussed debate on Education", Wendy Greuel supporter LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia links to the controversial Academia Semillas del Pueblo Charter School, may become a unwanted distraction.
....... but I also supported Charter Renewal for my campaign contributor Marcos Aguilar's controversial Academia Semillas del Pueblo Charter School, which continues to stonewall LAUSD's Office of Inspector General Audit requests..
But despite Garcia's "bullhorn devotion" (aided by timely contributions) to Marcos Aguilar's (and wife Minnie Ferguson) educational collective, the LA School Report Blog is reporting that LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy and Garcia may be on a collision course, again, regarding possible Charter Revocation of the El Sereno Indoctrination Collective.
Superintendent John Deasy responded directly to the school: “If you can’t comply with this, then I can’t recommend that school’s renewal,” said Deasy. “It looks like we’re heading in that direction.” Deasy said he didn’t know of any other examples of a school flouting district regulations like Semillas has done.“It always troubles me when a school is not consistent with our expectations and transparencies,” said Deasy, referring to Semillas. Deasy also said that he’s asked LAUSD attorneys about “other steps,” including the possibility of revoking Semillas’ charter.“I have to see if this falls into that category,” said Deasy.Deasy and his team at LAUSD didn’t recommend the renewal of Semillas’ elementary school last year, but they were overruled when the School Board voted, 4 to 3, to give the school another five years.

But while "Gorda Boo Boo" may be oblivious to longtime "Waste, Fraud and Abuse" at Academia, look for newly-reelected School Board Member Steve Zimmer to be the swing vote in the other direction this time around Then watch for Marcos and Minnie's supporters to make some uncomfortable disclosures regarding the likes of Garcia, Councilman Jose Huizar and Mayor Antonio Villar.

** Via LA Weekly's Patrick Range McDonald, both Mayoral candidates have seen the light and found common ground on the contentious Parent Trigger Issue, after a trip to the 24th Street School

** The reigning Editor of the Downtown News and "Scribe of Wit" Jon Regardie channels a "Pravda Editor of Note" in his latest Regardie Report on the CD 1 Campaign between Gil Cedillo and Jose Gardea. We excerpt "Media Commissar Regardski" below as he channels a Soviet perspective to a recent Gil Cedillo comment.

“City Hall is like the old Soviet Union,” Cedillo remarked. “It’s about protecting itself and there’s not going to be change from the inside.”The line is as fantastic as it is farfetched. Is Cedillo, who first won a State Assembly seat in 1998, comparing Reyes to old bloc leaders like Nikita Khrushchev and Leonid Brezhnev? Does he think Reyes is settled in the First District equivalent of Red Square building up a nuclear arsenal to hand over to Gardea.Even more interesting is what the comparison means for Cedillo himself. If he’s the change agent, then he’s probably a CD1 Mikhail Gorbachev, who introduced the openness concept of “glasnost,” which made him adored by the West and hated in the fading USSR (though there is little evidence he could become “Gorby II”). Maybe he’s salty Boris Yeltsin. Or perhaps Cedillo fancies himself a Los Angeles Vladimir Putin. The mind boggles. After the debate I asked Gardea about the remark. “You’ve just been compared to Soviet Russia,” I said. “Do you agree?”He responded with a bemused smile.“Nyet.”

"Nyet", may be the Russian translation for Gardea's chances of becoming CD 1 City Councilman "Mini Ed" Gardea on May 21.

** We join CD 9 City Councilwoman and former Mayoral Candidate Jan Perry in prayers and meditation that she endorse City Attorney Carmen Trutanich for a second term. In the spirit of joint reflection we provide the following inducement to help bring about this needed political union (or cutting of the endorsement bread).
Never leave the Office of City Attorney to a Politico Hack.

Wendy the Outsider?

I'm an outsider with a parking
meter on my credenza!
Despite nearly 25 years in City Hall and the Federal government  candidate for Mayor Wendy Greuel is claiming to be the "outsider" candidate.

Excuse me while I choke.

Even the slow to get it Daily News caught wind of this joke and produced some fishwrap around it. By the way, City Attorney Carmen "the Clown" Trutanich, desperately trying to remain in office, claims to be an outsider too, but no one cares.

Los Angeles Times readers were perhaps puzzled to see a page 1 headline this month reading: "Greuel stresses status as outsider." Wendy Greuel, the city controller who's a contender for mayor, the former two-term city councilwoman? She has status as outsider? Really?

We bring you the following Executive Order and Presentation via Mayor Sam

Via Executive Order of Mayor Sam, we bring back from retirement, the lovely, gracious Ms. Ass Clown to present this special, rare Ass Clown Award mid-week honor to Dakota Communications and now Mayor Sam Award Winner Rick Taylor.
Show some crack ( in Rick Taylor's plans to resurrect the political career of City Attorney Carmen Trutanich) Ms. Ass Clown!
Nuch's new hatchet guy/ political rehab consultant Rick Taylor, talks too much smack for someone downstream of our lovely ass clown's curves.
The Mayor Sam Blog, via an Executive Order from our esteem leader Michael "Mayor Sam" Higby, has brought out of retirement Ms. Ass Clown to present Rick Taylor with this special mid-week Ass Clown Award. The inspiration behind this rare mid-week bestowing, were the following asinine comments in a Metropolitan News-Enterprise article, directed towards District Attorney Candidate Alan Jackson and City Attorney Candidate Greg Smith's Political Consultant John Thomas, that describe him as ......
an angry young man out there who’s trying to pretend he’s a political consultant

By bestowing this honor on Taylor, he joins the likes of fellow lobbyist and USC employee David Galaviz, CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar, Eliot Sekuler of Mt. Washington/ Universal, CD 1 City Councilman Ed  "Density" Reyes and a certain "Infant Assemblyman Lil Mikey", in the hollow ranks of past Ass Clown winners.

We should note that Mr. Taylor has in the past, exhibited the traits that garnered the attention of the Ass Clown Award Selection Committee. During Taylor's past work on behalf of Dakota Communication's client Home Depot, Taylor employed the race card to smear the "No Home Depot" supporters as racists. For whatever reason, Taylor's paid racial bombast on the behalf of Home Depot, did not result in a Ass Clown Award at that time.

But to show that we here at Mayor Sam, can extend the open hand of friendship (or the bite of political satire) to Mr. Taylor, we offer this advise .................
DUNK NUCH FROM CITY ATTORNEY IN 2013!
Will new Ass Clown Award Winner Rick Taylor's negative attacks on behalf of rehabbing politico City Attorney Carmen Trutanich, give rise to a "Dunk Nuch Movement", on Election Day in March, 2013?

City Attorney Candidate Assemblyman Mike Feuer's pursuit of PPL Endorsement faces scrutiny

Assemblyman and 2013 City Attorney Candidate Mike Feuer.
Movie Poster for "The Onion Field Movie"
We received this from retire Parole Officer Caroline Aguirre on the recent actions of Assemblyman and 2013 City Attorney Candidate Mike Feuer.
How far well  former Los Angeles City Councilman now State Assembly member Mike Feuer go to obtain the endorsement of the Los Angeles Police Department Protective League in his quest for Los Angeles City Attorney?

Mike Feuer has been a state elected official going back as far as 2006. So why did he wait until recently to present an Assembly Constitutional Resolution # 100 to honor Murdered Los Angeles Police Officer Ian Campbell . Ian Campbell was gunned down and executed by Onion Field killer Gregory Powell in 1963.

The California State Assembly did pass the Resolution.

If Mike Feuer was sincere in wanting to honor this brave and fallen Los Angeles Police Officer then he should have requested this Assembly Constitutional Resolution many years ago . But now in his quest for yet another political office he seeks the Los Angeles Police Departments Protective League endorsement and the approval of past and current members of the Los Angeles Police Department.

As a retired member of a law enforcement community and having been married to a Los Angeles Police Homicide Detective ( now deceased ) I find State Assemblyman Mike Feuer' actions deplorable.
Your thoughts and comments always appreciated.

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday

Special delivery for someone at City Hall?
A building stares upwards, abuzz with speculation.
Great morning to all on this June Gloom day in April. Gloomy are those this morning who sought their morning decaff coffee of links and press releases from the City Maven. But the creative vision behind the City Maven Brand Alice Walton is now employed by KPCC as of today, leaving the likes of Kevin "Westside White Guy" Roderick to bemoan the loss of  "sane" blog coverage of City Hall happenings. Speaking of sane coverage of City Hall, we hear a big rumor sweeping through the corridors of 200 Spring Street, is that someone among a group of fifteen City Clowncil Central Committee members, received a "special notice" regarding "pending paternal responsibility". We will not speculate on who was the lucky recipient or whether this is true at all. But our sources not the type to dismiss or take for granted. More later if warranted.
Billboards are good for name identity.
On this gloomy Monday morning, I would like to offer props to Daily News City Hall Veteran Scribe Rick Orlov for kick starting the laughs with the first poll numbers on a possible 2013 City Attorney Race without Carmen Trutanich (this assuming to the horror of the likes of Berger that Nuch becomes District Attorney) The likes of CD 2 and 14 City Clowncil Central Committee reps Paul Krekorian and Jose Huizar, along with Assemblyman Mike Feuer and Deputy City Attorney Greg Smith are named in the poll. If you guess who received the highest percentage, then we have a free DWP lightbulb with a picture of the poll winner.
Monday Morning Lookalikes
 Florida's George Zimmerman.
Michael "MEAT/ Chief Parker" Trujillo
In the spirit of the late, great local Sports Writer Allan "Mud" Malamud, we bring you our Monday morning lookalikes featuring Florida's "Uber Neighborhood Watchman" George Zimmerman and none other than former Mayor Sam Blogger and Political Errant Boy Michael "MEAT/ Chief Parker" Trujillo. Amazing also how both these two have past issues with firearms.
Mayor Antonio Villar's 7th "State of the City Address".
Lastly, as a public service on the proper use of teleprompters in  public engagement, we upload Mayor Antonio Villar's most recent "State of the City Address" from Paramount Studios. We also link to the various responses from city leaders as compiled by the City Maven, regarding the  mayor's proposed 2012/2013 City Budget.
