A Open Letter to Councilman Jose Huizar from a Grieving Father

As the Family of Adrian Ernesto Posueloz mourns the loss of a innocent Young Life to another repugnant "Act of Gang-initiated Street Terrorism", a grieving Father awaits a requested audience with CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar  as he calls for additional resources to combat the latest resurgence in Gang-related crimes.
Will the likes of Councilman Huiar, LAPD Captain Martin Baeza and the members of the Hollenbeck CPAB show support for the Family of Adrian Ernesto Posueloz, by requesting additional resources to combat resurgent gang violence?
** Blogger's Note: While the attention of many is fixated on the horrific premier and aftermath of ISIS-inspired, Radical Islamic Terrorism in San Bernardino, a grieving father of another unintended victim of the "decades-long, gang-initiated, street terrorism", awaits a response to a requested meeting with his elected representative.

Mayor Sam Exclusive: LAPD Hollenbeck Division CPAB in Violation of Administrative Order No. 6?

In a Mayor Sam Exclusive, we disclose evidence of multiple violations of LAPD Administrative Order No. 6 regarding "The Structure and Responsibility of  Community-Police Advisory Boards", that supposedly safeguards its "non-partisan membership".
LAPD Hollenbeck Division Captain Martin Baeza with Hollenbeck CPAB Member/El Sereno Bicentennial Parade Coordinator/LA-32 Neighborhood Council Member ........., and CD 14 Staffer Genny Guerrero.
** Blogger's Note: In a Mayor Sam Exclusive, we disclose evidence of multiple violations of LAPD Administrative Order No.6 which outlines "The Structure and Responsibility of Community-Police Advisory Boards". From Item III regarding the "Membership" make-ups of CPABs ..........,,
III. MEMBERSHIP. Commanding officers shall be solely responsible for the selection of all C-PAB members. When making membership selections, Area commanding officers are encouraged to seek the input of C-PAB membership, Department personnel, and members of the residential and business communities. Each Area shall have a Community-Police Advisory Board that is representative of its respective community. Such considerations as gender, ethnicity, and age (including high school students) should be considered to ensure that all facets of an Area are represented. Diversity, including that of thought and point of view, should be a topic that is consistently addressed by commanding officers to ensure that the makeup of their board accurately reflects all communities they serve. Diversity shall also include business people, educators, and community members. Members should be respected in the community, knowledgeable about conditions of their community, and have the ability to work well in a group setting. Members should also have the ability and willingness to inform the public or constituents of activities of the Advisory Board. Note: In order to attain non-partisan membership, elected officials, including the paid or full-time volunteer staff of elected officials, or active political candidates, shall not be selected to be a member of an Advisory Board. Elected officials and their staffs are permitted and encouraged to participate in C-PAB activities as a resource to the Advisory Board.
Yet the recent vote of the Hollenbeck CPAB to support Multiple ABC Licenses for the USC Health Science Campus Hyatt Hotel Development, has cause many discerning community members to express concern that the supposed, non-partisan Advisory Board, has become a tool for the political needs of CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar. In recent years, especially under the supposed leadership of its Co-chair Mago Amador, the selective body has voted to support issues (developments, alcohol licenses) that are normally the responsibility of the local Neighborhood Councils.
In reviewing the photos below and other documentation, we can ascertain that the following, current CPAB Members were supporters of CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar; CPAB Co-chair Mago Amador, Vera Del Pozo, Luanna Allard, Raelene Allard, Mark Overstreet, Genny Guerrero, Tammy Membreno and Michelle Corzantes.
Clearly, Captain Martin Baeza has a serious issue of community trust that merits investigation .........., and until a investigation on whether the Hollenbeck Division CPAB violated the provisions of Administrative Order No. 6 is completed, all votes supporting any projects, especially supporting ABC Alcohol Licenses for the USC Health Science Campus Hyatt Hotel Development, should be RESCINDED---Scott Johnson.

No objective, non-partisan LAPD CPAB would get involve in supporting USC President's Max Nikias efforts to increase alcohol sales in a sensitive community.

A Open Letter to LAPD Hollenbeck Captain Martin Baeza

We present the following Open Letter to LAPD Hollenbeck Division Captain Martin Baeza regarding the University of Southern California Health Science Campus Hyatt Hotel Project and its supposed request for an unknown number of ABC Licenses to sell/serve Alcohol in a health/crime sensitive community.
LAPD Captain Martin Baeza, with CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar.
** Blogger's Note: Consider this a Teachable Moment on how to request accountability from your Public Servants, especially when the actions of an appointed body can have major, future ramifications on a crime/health sensitive community facing more stress on its infrastructure. For the record, there are over 200 Active ABC Licenses within the LAPD Hollenbeck Division. Surely, the members of the Hollenbeck Community Police Advisory Board would be cognizant of the impact of adding more choices for alcohol in an area such as the Greater Hazard Park/Ramona Gardens Community .........., or maybe not. We will find out soon---Scott Johnson.

OPEN LETTER TO LAPD HOLLENBECK DIVISION CAPTAIN MARTIN BAEZA:
Good afternoon Captain Baeza,
I hope this open letter/email finds you and the staff of the LAPD's Hollenbeck Division safe and well.
At the October 5, 2015 Meeting of the Hazard Park Advisory Board, the Facility Director advised Stakeholders that she attended a recent meeting (August or September) of the Hollenbeck Division Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB).
During the CPAB Meeting she attended, a presentation was made by representatives of the Hotel Development on the University of Southern California (USC) Health Science Campus, that noted in part, the Developer's desire to seek approval for an unknown number of ABC licenses for the sales/serving of alcohol on the location.
In the interest of Openness and Transparency, can you provided the following documentation and information regarding the proposed sale/serving of alcohol on the site of the Hotel Development (Please note that this open letter/email also acts as a formal California Public Records Act Request)?
First, can you provide a copy of the Hollenbeck CPAB Agenda from either August or September, 2015 that denotes this presentation.
Second, can you a copy of the Official Meeting Minutes of the Hollenbeck CPAB, where the Hotel Development Presentation (noting the ABC licenses request) was made.
Third, can you provide documentation on any action (which notes the specific voting record of CPAB members in attendance) that was taken to either support, or not support all or any aspects of the Hotel Development Project?
Please note for the record, that I have contacted representatives of the Lincoln Heights, Boyle Heights and LA-32 Neighborhood Councils regarding any actions on their part, regarding supporting (or not supporting) the supposed Hotel Developer's request for ABC licenses. None have done so.
In ending, I look forward to your response on this matter, especially in lieu of its potential, future impact upon the Greater Hazard Park/Ramona Gardens Community.
With respects,
Scott Johnson

Which Way will Clowncilman Huizar Sway regarding requested Upgrading of ABC License for El Sereno's Big Saver Market?

As Clowncilman Huizar touts his Clean Communities Initiative as a reason for reelection, discerning constituents await his "Next Moment of Leadership" regarding the requested ABC Alcohol License Upgrade for the Big Saver Market in El Sereno.
Is it too early to congratulate the Princeton Graduate for standing by his 2011 comment that he only supports Hard Liquor Licenses for "Sit Down Restaurants". Thus opposing the requested ABC License Upgrade for the El Sereno Big Saver Market?
** Blogger's Note: In 72 hours, CD 14 constituents/voters will get an opportunity to ascertain whether City Clowncil Central Committee Member Jose "Tonto Huevon" Huizar's "Clean Communities Initiative", includes the rejection of a requested ABC License Upgrade for the El Sereno Big Saver Market on Huntington, Drive. During his 2011 Reelection Campaign, the Princeton Tonto Huevon Graduate stated that he was generally in opposition to new Hard Liquor Licenses, unless the were full a "Sit Down Restaurant". But one could also extrapolate from past campaign contribution documentation, that exceptions took place. In the case of the El Sereno Big Saver Market, the owner has made a significant capital investment in remodeling the property, which includes its request for the ABC License Upgrade. But according to ABC documents, the El Sereno Big Saver has been cited multiple times recently for selling either beer or wine to minors. Further, the market is near a church/rehab center and school. Yet, there are those who support the upgrade due to the market's owner long time support of community events, such as the El Sereno Bicentennial Parade and of course, a certain Princeton Graduate---Scott Johnson.
The Official Hearing Notice for the El Sereno Big Saver Market effort to gain approval for selling Hard Alcohol.
Numerous of Boyle Heights and other communities alcohol establishments, within the LAPD Hollenbeck Division were inspected via LAPD and the ABC
Current LAPD Captain Martin Baeza and staff, are to be commended for lowering the amount of liquor licenses within the Hollenbeck Patrol Area in recent times. Yet, community members are awaiting his formal recommendation regarding the requested ABC License Upgrade for the Big Saver Market.
We should note that Captain Baeza's Hollenbeck CPAB Co-chair and Clowncilman Huizar Loyaltist Mago Amador, has in the past, worked with "Connected Non-Profit Legecy LA", who supported ABC License Requests for the likes of 7-Eleven, as evident on the attached video.

LAPD Hollenbeck Division Captain response to use of LAPD Wilson High Magnet School Cadets for LA-32 NC Campaigning

As we near a TGIF Happy Hour we thought this would be an appropriate time to reach to resident LA-32 NC Muckraker Joe Cano and share a memo from LAPD Hollenbeck Captain Martin Baeza regarding use of LAPD Wilson High School Magnet Cadets for political campaigning (** that if Joe is not off on another walk to the Alhambra Road and Warwick corner Liquor Store, allegedly).
When Joe is not off walking to the corner liquor establishment (allegedly) or perpetrating muckraking falsehoods on "marked" Neighborhood Council Board Members, Joe Cano can be found crusading against the I-710 Freeway.
Memo from LAPD Hollenbeck Division Captain Martin Baeza.
** Blogger's Note: Since we last attempted to reach out to our infrequent bloggin critic Joe Cano, we can gladly confirm a Cano sighting (that wasn't near the corner of Alhambra and Warwick) at the recent LA-32 NC Elections (as seen with thumbs up, next to Raymond Diaz and Nicholas Carrillo). Since then, the newly constituted LA-32 NC is already off to a grieving, recriminating start as the likes of new President Marleen Fonseca and Treasurer Michelle Corzantes, seek to deny the filling of board vacancies and change the name of the NC to the non-inclusive "El Sereno Neighborhood Council". While Mr. Cano may be seen holding his thumb up, that those who feed his feeble mind with repugnant falsehoods behind their exploitation of LAPD Wilson High School Magnet Cadets, were mostly elected to the latest incarnation of the LA-32 NC (with the help of CD 14 staffers Julio Torres and Julio Esperias), Captain Baeza's response should hopefully remind Joe to not be an enabling tool (when not interrupted by a corner store walk) for those who would exploit the youth of the LA-32 Community for political gain---Scott Johnson.
Its Joe among the mostly Councilman Huizar-recruited NC Candidates!!
Will any of the "Exploiting Eight Candidates" on campaign flyer below, along with former LA-32 NC Election Chairperson Yolie Garcia, have the character to apologize to the Cadets of the LAPD Wilson High School Magnet Program, for using them for political gain?
The "Exploiting Eight" who mostly benefitted from a blatant act of slander to cover up inappropriate use of uniformed Cadets, as noted below.
Former LA-32 NC Election Chairperson Yolie Garcia (in brown, El Sereno Historical Society shirt below), who "instructed" the LAPD Wilson High School, has benefitted from her support of the "Exploiting Eight" by being named to the Budget & Finance Committee, chaired by Michelle Corzantes (in black below).
