The Political Backrooms of Southeast LA (especially those within the Congressional District of Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard), are a continuing source of alleged, Ethical Misdeeds, as exampled by the likes of the infamous Mario Beltran, Assembly Candidate Efren Martinez and a certain "Offspring/Municipal Attorney" ………, of an Incumbent Officeholder.

** Blogger's Notes: On this first day of the month before November Elections, its time to reacquaint ourselves with the "Wild, Wild Southeast Backrooms of Political Misdeeds", where daily political acts of moral, ethical and legal indecency, are alleged benchmarks standards for future recognition by those in Higher Office. For decades, the current 40th Congressional District represented by Lucille Roybal-Allard, has been the epicenter for political scandals that have rocked and provoked outrage in the largely Immigrant-populated municipalities such as Cudahy, Maywood, Bell Gardens, Vernon, Huntington Park and Bell. Yet, after years of communal protests, countless of missives chronicling municipal misconduct and Indictments of Officeholders such as John Noguez, Hugo Argumedo, George Cole (pictured above with the Congresswoman) and the Calderon Brothers, the Incumbent Congressperson has mostly remain silent ...….., for what reasons? As we note below, Congresswoman Roybal-Allard's passive denial of the continuing ethical issues afflicting the municipalities under her purview, may be rooted in the inconvenient facts pertaining to family members questionable conduct ………., including an "Offspring/Municipal Attorney (Rick Olivarez)". Thus, prompting an increasing amount of voters to ponder a vote for Republican Challenger C. Amtonio Delgado on Election Day----Scott Johnson.

The nefarious audacity of documented Southeast LA Political Miscreant Mario Beltran knows no bounds (allegedly). According to a Lawsuit made public, Mario Beltran (with enabling from City of Commerce Officials), engaged in a scheme to extort money from a perspective Cannibus Business, in return for approval of its Permit Proposal. As previously reported here at Mayor Sam, Beltran was a "Consultant of Interest (along with Efren Martinez)" in a similar scheme that the City of Huntington Park was forced to settle in court. We should also note, For the Record, that the City Manager and the contracted City Attorney Law Firm at the time of the City of Huntington Park Lawsuit, Edgar Cisneros and Glassman Law respectively, are currently retained in the same positions at Commerce City Hall …….., thanks to Mario Beltram (allegedly).

Being anointed a member of Mario Beltran's (lower left with glasses) Southeast LA Flock of Enablers, is conditioned on delivering the  "Consulting Fees (allegedly)".

Its apparent from reviewing recently-obtained documentation that 59th Assembly District Candidate Efren Martinez is a walking investigation waiting to be commenced (link here to view shadyefren.com). As previously reported here by Mayor Sam, Martinez needs to fully account for his source of campaign financing that included his over $200,000 self loan. In recent weeks according to sources, Martinez has had a following-out with his fellow "Consultant of Interest (Mario Beltran)" in a document scheme to rig the bidding process for the rewarding of Medical Marijuana Permits in the City of Huntington Park. The Huntington Park-centric Metro Watch Facebook Page has done great work in providing H.P. voters with a open and transparent medium which provides timely news, including the documented Endorsement of the Martinez Campaign by RINO Republican and Democratic-financed Lincoln Project Enabler Rosario Marin.

For longtime observers of the "Wild, Wild, Southeast Backrooms of Political Misdeeds", will agree that a constant in the on-going municipal tumult, is the power play by those seeking lucrative legal contracts to act as hired City Attorneys. From the days when the likes of the formerly Leal & Beltran Law Firm were initiating Recalls of political opponents, in pursuit of gainful employment, to currently with the Glassman Law Firm enabling Legal Marijuana Businesses (and enriching dubious Consultants) in its contract cities of Huntington Park, Montebello and Commerce, the opportunities for inflating a Law Firm's Bottom Line, is a documented given ………., as Rick Olivarez (son of Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard) may attest to. Olivarez (with Mommy help?) some how found his way into garnering the City of Cudahy Legal Contract and if his legal work in the aftermath of the Delta Airlines Fuel Dump on Park Avenue Elementary School, is a barometer of his work on behalf of Cudahy residents ……., someone needs to ask his Congresswoman Mom to explain the following.

Hundreds of irate residents attended a January 17 town hall meeting in the hopes of getting justice for being subjected to this environmental abuse. One person who wasn’t in attendance was Roybal-Allard.

A look at Roybal-Allard’s campaign contributors provides another set of interesting facts. Her 2020 re-election campaign has drawn $7500 in donations from Delta, despite the fact that she doesn’t even serve on the U.S. House’s Aviation Subcommittee and she doesn’t represent the area that includes LAX. It’s also the only airline on her list of top 100 donors.

That amount was 50 percent more than the $5000 Delta paid her in 2018. One can also find that the National Air Traffic Controllers Association donated $10,000 to the campaign – placing it in the top 10 contributors to Rep. Roybal-Allard’s re-election despite the fact that she, again, doesn’t have any direct dealings with the aviation industry or LAX.

Both Delta and the National Air Traffic Controllers Association declined comment when asked about why these large donations occurred.

Then take into consideration that the City of Cudahy did not file a lawsuit against Delta despite the extensive environmental risks the airline subjected its residents to. ** Blogger's Notes: As a growing number of City of Commerce Residents recoil in outrage over the recent ethical and physical misbehavior by members of its City Council, few if any, will remember that the controversial Councilman (and Failure Assembly Candidate) Ivan Altamirano-appointed Commissioner to the important Planning Commission ..........., has a "Co-Schemer" past.

Current Commerce Planning Commissioner Arnelle Grajeda, was once the most powerful SEIU Union Leader in California. With her then Boyfriend Alejandro Stephens, they advocated on behalf of mostly LA County Employees, during their time on the Board of SEIU 660 ...... then came the time for Stephen's Re-election for President of the Local.

With the blessing of the late LA County Labor Federation Leader Miguel Contreras, Stephens (and his "Co-Schemers"), used phony consulting contracts to wash $52,000 from the "Voter Improvement Project Non-Profit (created by Contreras)", into campaign money to fund his re-election, as the subsequent Federal Indictment, Trial and Conviction substantiated.

From the LA Times Report in 2010 regarding Commissioner Grajeda (and Son "C.G") "Co-Schemer" Role in the Stephens Corruption Case.

Also touched by the scandal was Stephens' former girlfriend and ex-colleague Annelle Grajeda, who rose to become one of SEIU's six executive vice presidents and the top SEIU official in California before resigning her posts amid questions about whether she had improperly used influence to help Stephens. Stephens identified Grajeda and her son, Carlos Grajeda, as a mother-son pair referred to by initials in the federal complaint as "co-schemers" in the case. The complaint alleges that "C.G." received $10,000 from VIP in a phony consultant agreement and turned the money over to Stephens. Neither Grajeda was charged, and neither responded to telephone messages from The Times.

In review, its obvious that Stephens took the fall to protect his ex Girlfriend, "C.G.' and most important, the legacy of Miguel Contreras. But in the fallout of his conviction, Grajeda was forced from her position of leadership and retired.

Ten years later, its ironic that along with another ex SEIU Leader of ill-repute Tyrone Freeman (who is helping in pushing Cannabis Legalization in Pasadena), Grajeda has been chosen to be a "Commissioned Schemer" in Councilman Altamirano's (along with Councilwoman Oralia Robello and Mayor John Soria), continuing sham to enrich Puppet Master Mario Beltran----Scott Johnson.

Commerce City Administrator Edgar Cisnero's $41 Million Chino Hills Land Speculation Scheme Exposed

The new Commerce City Council Majority (and its Puppet Master City Administrator Edgar Cisneros) are the self-inflicted recipient of another ethical Black Eye as Open Space Advocates condemn their (and the unscrupulous San Gabriel Valley Water & Power LLC), secretive scheme to purchase the Tres Hermanos Ranch in the Chino Hills.

Since the 2017 Election of the current incarnation of the Commerce City Council, its reigning majority of Councilperson Oralia Rebollo, John Soria and Ivan Altamirano, with their chosen City Administrator Edgar Cisneros, have jointly been responsible for numerous Ethical Black Eyes (involving Pay to Play Municipal Contracts Giveaways to Campaign Donors). 

With legal enabling via the notorious Glassman Law Firm, City Administrator Cisneros has made a mockery of Openness and Transparency in a supposed Model Municipality, via his secretive dealings with the likes of Louis Reyes, Mario Beltran, and the Hews Media Group .........., which explains the embargo of negative reporting on the current affairs at 2535 Commerce Way.

But what is accepted political behavior among Administrator Cisneros and his three political stooges within City Hall confines, is cause for condemnation (and pending legal action as pictured below), when attempted beyond city limits .........., with newest questionable associate William Barkett.

Barkett is the front-person for the unknown "San Gabriel Valley Water and Power LLC", who was partnered with the previous ethically-challenged leadership of the City of Industry, in seeking to develop its Tres Hermanos Ranch Redevelopment Property, into a gigantic Solar Farm, a scheme now repudiated (in favor of Open Space Preservation), by Industry's current leadership, at a supposed cost of $20 Million Dollars ........, alleged pocketed by Burkett's Firm.

It would seem that Burkett would be now a nefarious Land Speculator without a Publicly-financed Enrichment Scheme, as the tri-municipalities of Chino Hills, Diamond Bar and Industry worked together to make the preservation of Tres Hermanos a much-desired reality, but thanks to Burkett's new associate, Administrator Cisnero's "Backroom Proclivities" ........., a new litigious controversy is pending in the Model City, again. We're Back!! With absolutely no apologies to the likes of our former bloggin colleague "MEAT (aka. Michael Trujillo)", we return from our self-imposed cyber-sequester to undertake a new year of expanding coverage, dedicated to exposing the policy, cultural and personal outrages of the corrupt factions, that constitute the Los Angeles (and Calizuela-controlling) Democratic Party.    

 Please refrain from reminding "MEAT" of his days as a "Minority Owner" of Ralph Verdugo's LA Brewing Company on Broadway, in Downtown LA.

After nearly a decade of cyber-musings on the various politicos, neighborhood wannabees, sanchas and supposed journalists (in reality propagandists), we must be honest with ourselves in disclosing our respective adopting of mannerisms, originating from subjects of interest.

For example, discerning observers could opine that since mid-December, this writer has become a "Bloggin Huevon", kinda like a certain "Princeton Graduate Charro", who allegedly vacated his residing CD-14 Council District (for now), to spend quality time at his Pedley or Zacatecas, Mexico Rancho. Thus, granting us time for a brief cyber slumber.

But with the Christmas/New Year Holidays behind us, the first work Monday of 2019 will kick start an intensive year of diverse, political cyber coverage ..........., and change.

As witness with this afternoon's Breaking News regarding the latest questionable death at the West Hollywood Home of Calizuela Pervycrat Financier Ed Buck, the weeks, months and year of 2019, will provide a bountiful cyber-harvest of bloggin topics within ........., and outside the boundaries of our normal 200 N. Spring Street-based epicenter of coverage. 

While its a given that this blog's core mission will continue, the fifteenth year of Mayor Sam's contribution to the Cause of Openness and Transparency, in an increasingly autocratic City/County of LA, within a One Party Junta-controlling Calizuela .......... is the appropriate time for needed growth.

With a devolving vacume of agenda journalism, upsetting the balance of a once bountiful and robust depository of objective news coverage in Los Angeles, its paramount that we prioritize the reporting of hard news ........., that engenders an informative dialog on the issues of governess, in the respective jurisdictions of note. 

In the weeks ahead, we will be moving forward with our new "Mayor Sam Sister Cities News Group" that partners with Open Government and News Advocates, in promoting the free flow of information within communities devoid of objective reporting.
