** Blogger's Notes: Once upon a recent political time, there was a "Model City Councilperson (and allies)", who could garner no peace from a supposed, "Weekly Newspaper of Record", as its crusading "Publisher/Editor/Reporter", keyboard numerous missives full of attacks, allegations, innuendos ........, and some facts. 

But in emerging as the Lone Survivor of his Political Faction after the 2017 Commerce City Council Elections, Ivan Altamirano, perhaps feeling the urges (and hearing the sweet words) of political ambition, made a fateful decision ......, in becoming the latest Enabler of Chacon (and Mario Beltran) Southeast LA Political Machine.

Literally overnight, especially with the selection of Montebello Unified School Board Member Edgar Cisneros (and Board Colleague Hector Chacon ally) as the new City of Commerce Administrator, the almost daily "Wanton Missives of Distortion (WMDs)" via the keyboard of Los Cerritos News Group Publisher/Editor/Reporter Brian Hews, that previously targeted Altamirano (and former Council Members Lela Leon and Tina Baca del Rio) ......... ceased for (Ivan's) good. 

In returned, the new Chacon/Betran Political Machine Enabler, was the recipient of positive Press Release Reporting, that fail to note his Assembly Campaign links to disgraced former State Senator Richard Polanco, contributions from the infamous former Bell Gardens City Councilman Mario Beltran, while blessing his failed quest to unseat Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia ........ with five consecutive weeks of half-page ads, paid for by whom (a future FPPC investigation may provide the answer)? 

But despite Councilman Altamirano's Assembly Campaign failings, the new bond between the supposed Southeast LA County "Weekly of Record" and the latest Chacon/Beltran Political Machine Enabler, apparently remains strong, in lieu of Councilman Altamirano's blatant use of Commerce Public Funds/Property to benefit a Campaign Consultant, Contributors (as documented below) ........,, and meriting a Chacon/Beltran Political Machine-benefiting "Act of Journalistic Disregard"-----Scott Johnson.. `
