With a week remaining to Election Day in CD 6, we have obtain documentation that discloses the allocation of staff resources to the aborted recount of Consultant Husband Gerry Guzman's client, former 39th Assembly District Officeholder Raul Bocanegra, as critics pan her for the current "Rubbish State of CD 6". 

 Duh!! Maybe I should of allocated staff resources to combating the current "Rubbish State of CD 6", than covering for Gerry's Consulting Screw Up with Raul?

** Blogger's Note: In Part One of a Mayor Sam Exclusive, we make public records which note CD 6 City Councilwoman Nury Martinez's role in allocating staff to help with an aborted recount of ballots in the recent 39th AD Campaign as many in the Northeast San Fernando Valley District take issue with her leadership in combating the current "State of Rubbish". In what Political Scientists may label in the future as simply "The Improbable Campaign", an upstart Assembly Candidate, Patty Lopez, pulls off a Northeast San Fernando Valley Miracle in defeating the Incumbent 39th AD Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra by 467 votes..  

The smiles of Team Patty Lopez must be more pronounced this afternoon.

** Blogger's note: Please pardon the sports analogy flashback (1980 Miracle on Ice) but many in the Northeast San Fernando Valley this afternoon, have a new found affirmation in miracles (back by committed, hard work) ........, of a political variety. The Improbable Campaign of a First Generation American Immigrant, just became the most pronounced, local political success story in decades, as Patty Lopez, is but a signed validation of election results away from becoming the next 39th Assembly District Representative. As Community Activist David Hernandez reports via Facebook, the final tally of unprocessed 39rd AD ballots, had Lopez increasing her lead to 467 votes over Incumbent Raul Bocanegra. The final tally of the vote, is sure to send shock waves throughout not only the San Fernando Valley, but California, as pundits commit column inches in musing on the root cause of this 1971 Sylmar-like Political Earthquake. BREAKING: Following a final count in the close election for the 39th Assembly District between incumbent Raul Bocanegra and challenger Patty Lopez, Lopez pulls to a +1% margin of victory and sources are telling MayorSam that Bocanegra has conceded and will not pursue a recount.

The upstart Patty Lopez for Assembly Campaign increases its lead over Incumbent 39th AD Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra to 421 votes in the latest canvass of unprocessed ballots.

This is a day of conflicting emotions for the Improbable Campaign of 39th Assembly District Candidate Patty Lopez.

On the campaign front, Lopez has increase her margin of lead over Incumbent Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra to 421 votes with most ballots counted.

But on the personal side, Team Lopez is dealing with the death of her Brother-in-Law.

According to a local Consultant of note, the chance of Assemblyman Bocanegra making up the increase margin of deficit is extremely remote. Since the process of counting the outstanding ballots commenced, Team Lopez has garnered 54% of those votes.

The final certification of the elections results will be forthcoming on November 28, 2014.

Meanwhile, our thoughts and prayers are with the Lopez Family at this time of loss.

The Improbable Campaign of upstart 39th Assembly District Candidate Patty Lopez, edges closer to Victory, as the latest batch of processed Ballots gives it a 235 Vote Lead over Incumbent Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra.

Darn, this pending Political Upset smells so good for democracy!

Despite the hordes of supposed, off-duty staffers from the City Clowncil Central Committee Offices of Nury Martinez (wife of Bocanegra Campaign Consultant Gerry Guzman) and Felipe Fuentes (former "Temp Staffer" for Bocanegra) seeking to invalidate ballots, "Team Patty Lopez" left the
second to last canvass of votes, holding a 235 vote lead over 39th AD Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra, with the last vote count to take place on Friday. 

The Improbable Campaign of Patty Lopez has sent shock waves across not only the Northeast San Fernando Valley, but throughout the City of Los Angeles. If Lopez holds on to beat Bocanegra, the first aftershock of this political equivalent of the 1971 Sylmar Earthquake, will be the upcoming CD 6 City Clowncil Central Committee Rematch between current Clowncilwoman Nury Martinez and Cindy Montanez.

With the chance of probability on the same level as this blogger's next use of "Spollcheck", Clowncilwoman Martinez Husband Gerry Guzman's role (G7 Strategy Group, INC.) in the Bocanegra Campaign, is surely to garner some unwanted attention, considering the negative, dismissive tone directed at Team Patty Lopez.

This is how a former Staffer, turned ambitious Assemblyman, turns on his former Boss.

While working as a planning deputy for Alarcon in 2007, Bocanegra said he met with a land-use consultant about a zone change for the Panorama City property, part of a proposal to develop the site into multi-use residential units. Gilmer has previously suggested to the jury that the Alarcóns wanted to develop the Panorama City site.
Bocanegra also was asked about whether there was media publicity about Alarcon’s residency in 2007.
“I think it was an area of concern for the staff, yes,” Bocanegra.
Bocanegra was elected to the Assembly in 2012, beating Alarcón, who faced negative media stories amid the District Attorney’s investigation into his residency.

A witness for the prosecution, Greuel testified that Alarcón, her then-colleague on the City Council, called her in 2007 and asked her to move the boundaries to put Flora’s house on Sheldon Street in Sun Valley in District 7. Greuel consulted with her staff on the move, which would have affected about 200 houses, she said.

Greuel told the court Alarcón said the council district boundaries had been moved before. He cited how the lines were redrawn to accommodate Antonio Villaraigosa when he served on the City Council (think former house on Mt Washington), Greuel said.
Greuel decided against the move, she told jurors, because it would break up the Stonehurst community, which was in her district. Later, that area was designated a historical preservation zone.

........,judging from the testimony, the AlarCONs will have some quality cell time to plot payback.
