For those of us, still ensconce in our mortal and fallible physical state below, we want to take a moment to reflect, appreciate and not forget Michael's time among us. Its been less than two years since Michael was summons to his appointed time within a Better World ..........., but for those of us awaiting our calling, we can continue in honoring his "Life of Character" ............, and toasting his B-day with a Margarita at his favorite Sunland-Tujunga Eatery (6 PM)-----Scott Johnson.

Bloggin Memo to Mayor Garcetti: "When will USC join the Rams in Paying for LAPD Security"?

With Los Angeles Rams Owner Stan Kroenke agreeing to, "Pay in Full", for city services associated with the temporary hosting of the Inglewood-based NFL Franchise at the University of Southern California (USC)-managed Memorial Coliseum, we ask Mayor Garcetti when USC will agree to do the same in regards to public costs for its Football Games ............, and whether if the PRIVATE University's hiring of former City of LA Public Officials (along with associates and family members) is the reason for its largess of Crony/Corporate Welfare.
USC President Max Nikias, with Mayor Eric Garcetti, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck and LA County District Attorney Jackie Lacey.
LAPD Motor Cop patrolling Coliseum Parking Lot during USC Football Game.
** Blogger's Note: We want to give bloggin kudos to former CD 3 City Councilman Dennis Zine, Citizen Plaintiff James Bibeau, the Police Protective League for their joint endeavor in forcing the City of Los Angeles to successfully, seek full restitution, from a willing/cooperative Los Angeles Rams Owner Stan Kroenke, for the cost of city services, associated with the temporary hosting of LA Rams Football ......, at the University of Southern California (USC)-managed Coliseum.
You are forgiven if your respective political memories are lacking in remembering that Los Angeles largest PRIVATE University, is now the managing-landlord of the historic stadium .........., thanks to a litigious, Brown Act-violating Deal with the Coliseum Commission (that included the Commission Member wife of City Council President Herb Wesson), which granted USC Millions of Dollars in Stadium Revenue, in return for the University assuming the upkeep and management responsibilities.
That stated, we were somewhat conflicted when former Councilman Zine and co-plaintiff initiated their worthy lawsuit targeting the Rams .........., and not the Coliseum Landlord, who in an ideal world, should be the party responsible for incorporating the cost of event security (via consultation with Public Officials) into its respective rental agreements.
Thus, in lieu of the agreement brokered between the City of Los Angeles and the Rams, we must ask whether the original intent of the now "Citizen Zine Lawsuit", is still outstanding considering that City Hall has yet to force the Billion Dollars-plus Endowed, PRIVATE University to reimburse the General Fund for its continuing FREE GIFT of Taxpayers Largess.
Its of interest to note that the deal between the Rams and City Hall, was delayed because of "concerns", via USC Administrators, that they may be held to the same standard as reported in the LA Times.
Garcetti said Tuesday that the original arrangement for security at Rams games — with the team paying for security officers inside the stadium while the city paid for officers outside — mirrored that for the USC Trojans. He said one reason the new deal with the Rams had taken weeks to work out was that the college was worried that it too might be required to pay for a police presence at football games. “We can work on that long-term,” Garcetti said.

With no apologies with the Second Term-seeking Mayor, we have to question why an agreement that USC pay its full cost of needed, finite Police and other department's resources, for their under-achieving Football Program, is a long term priority ........, and whether USC's proclivities in hiring former City of LA Public Officials, or family members of current Officeholders is the "real reason" for continuing the arraignment ..........., considering:
First, as reported here at Mayor Sam, the younger brother of City Council President Herman Wesson, was hired by the University to serve as the mega-USC Village Project Ombudsman, despite accusations that he was "under-qualified" for the six-figures salary position.
Second, former LAPD Deputy Chief Earl Paysinger (and allegedly, his "favorite Secretary") was recently hired by the University to lead its Civic Engagement's "Good Neighbor Program".
When the hiring of Steve Wesson and Earl Paysinger, are added to numerous other Public Officials who have ended up enjoying a paid, after-life as an USC Employee (including an Ahhh Ex Failure Mayor), then its no surprise why the PRIVATE institution is the recipient of  Corporate Welfare ........., via the City Of Los Angeles General Fund.
Your thoughts ...............

The Brian Hews/Los Chacon News Journalistic Malpractice Disclaimers for 9-17-16

In our latest cyber installment of "The Brian Hews/Los Chacon News Journalistic Malpractice Disclaimers", we keyboard our commentary regarding the most recent factually-challenged Agenda Journalism Missives via the Chief Propagandist/Publisher, which includes a Hit Piece on a new LA Times Reporter.  **Plus, we disclose a bloggin tease regarding a past "business/loan arraignment" with a failed Chacon Family Candidate for Montebello City Council.
Publisher/Propagandist Brian Hews, minus Chacon Political Family-financed Tin Foil Hat.
** Blogger's Note: As we keyboard our latest installment of "The Brian Hews/Los Chacon News Journalistic Malpractice Disclaimers, we must immediately note that these are frustrating times for the Chief Propagandist/Publisher for the infamous Southeast LA County Chacon Political Family.
The last couple of weeks have given witness to the continuing adverse evolution of an once, award-winning Newspaper .........., into a mere Propaganda Litter Box Liner, with multiple, disinformation-laden "Exclusives", being met with Crickets of Journalistic Indifference. This was best exampled via the Propagandist's self-promoted Ashley Madison Disclosures, which fail to garner further media attention after a Hews appearance on KFI 640 AM.
Thus, it was not surprising to witness Hews reverting back to his tired charade of attacking the LA Times and its newly-hired Reporter Adam Elmahrek, who had recently authored an even-handed story regarding Corruption in the City of Commerce .........., that included coverage on alleged, unethical behavior by the Chacon Political Family, in regards to a successful effort to gain city approval for a Walmart Store.
In his keyboard diarrhea case of the misinforming runs, laden with factually-challenged accusations, Hews accused Elmahrek of running up thousands of dollars in costs, related to supposed, frivolous Public Records Act requests in multiple Southeast LA County Cities, including Commerce, which results in objective discerning readers asking themselves ..........,  why the waste of ink and newsprint in attacking the Times newly-hired Scribe? To be continue .......
That stated, we can disclose that Elmahrek is NOT the only Scribe, allegedly seeking Public Documentation as we EXCLUSIVELY tease below ............, and what did we discover? Maybe a "Campaign Business Arrangement", meriting further investigating-----Scott Johnson, Editor/Chief Writer at Mayor Sam.
Charles Pell/ Fernando Chacon, City of Montebello Municipal Elections Advertisement as seen in the Montebello Edition of the "Brian Hews/Los Chacon News" during the recent 2015 Municipal Elections.
The Mayor Sam Blog, via an inexpensive California Public Records Act Request, obtain losing City Council Candidate Fernando Chacon's Form 460 Campaign Financing Documentation, that discloses Brian Hews fronting $2,000-plus in Campaign Advertising to Chacon .........., while he keyboard ceaseless of attacks against victorious Candidate Jack Hadjinian and smearing Police Chief Kevin McClure.
Note the repayment of the fronted Chacon Campaign Advertising ........., and to a certain Sylvia Ortiz, who has a dubious political past.
Repayment of Debt/Loan noted for the record ........, and future review regarding the tainted objectively of a former "Newspaper of Record".
The Official Symbol of the Brian Hews/Los Chacon News Journalistic Malpractice Disclaimers.

Introducing Self-appointed CD-7 Overseer Herman "Mini-Amin" Wesson

In a departure from established protocols, Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee General Secretary/President Herman "Mini-Amin" Wesson  has named himself as the Overseer of Council District Seven (CD-7) to quell a restive electorate ........., and preserve the Establishment's hold on its Council Seat in 2017?
An appetite for controlling a demanding CD-7 Constituency?
** Blogger's Note: A discerning ..............., and rightfully, accountability-seeking CD-7 Electorate, has been rewarded, twice.
First, with the resignation of  now Lobbyist "FU Felipe" Fuentes, the CD-7 Electorate has been cleanse of an repugnant, inattentive Officeholder, who's alleged, undisclosed linkage to a Federal Investigation involving his fellow Brothers Tony, Raul and Sister Nury, within the Northeast San Fernando Valley Democratic Machine ........., brought to surface his inner, "Pollo Felipe" mannerism with his unexpected City Hall departure.
But by far, the BIGGER reward for the upstart civic reformers within CD-7, is the now focus of Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee General Secretary/President Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson, as he appointed himself the "Overseer" of CD-7, pending the outcome of the 2017 Election.

California Governor "Misogynist Moonbeam II" pens "Veto/Hate" targeting the "Sister Class"

The State of California "Sister Class (aka. Women)", are subjective (again) to an Act of Political Hypocrisy", as Governor "Misogynist Moonbeam II (aka Jerry Brown)" VETOS Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia and Lorena Gonzalez's respective Bills to grant Tax Breaks on the purchase of Tampons and Diapers.
California Governor "Misogynist Moonbeam II (aka Jerry Brown) balances the State Budget via the "Monthly Cycle/Sanitary/Diaper Costs" of Women.
** Blogger's Note: We momentary pause our City Hall-centric musings to keyboard these brief comments on yet another hypocritical Act of Gender-centric Political Disrespect of California's Sister Class (aka. Women) via Governor "Misogynist Moonbeam II (also known as Jerry Brown)".

Mayor Sam Exclusive: USC seeks Private Police Powers beyond its Properties

In a Mayor Sam Eclusive, we disclose embattled Assemblyman Miguel Santiago's stealth co-authored (with Assemblyman Reggie Jones-Sawyer) AB-2361 that would grant the PRIVATE University of Southern California (USC) Public Safety Security Guards, with FULL Peace Officer Powers in policing its properties .........., and the communities surrounding its campuses.
USC President Max Nikias seeks FULL Peace Officer Power for his exclusive Security Force.
** Blogger's Note: If anyone needed any additional reason why 53rd District Assemblyman Miguel Santiago garnered a minority share of the vote in his bid for re-election last June, they need look no further than his "STEALTH EFFORTS" via co-authoring AB-2361. This "VETO-WORTHY (by Governor Jerry Brown)" legislation would grant the PRIVATE University of Southern California Public Safety Security Guards with FULL Peace Officer Powers in patrolling its properties ........., and an outside-radius surrounding its campuses. The Mayor Sam Blog, in consultation with a retire Law Enforcement Official who review the Bill, determine that unlike Public COPE Peace Officers, USC Public Safety Employees would NOT need to pass a Psychological Examination in seeking the same type of Peace Officer status. Stakeholders around the USC Main Campus are questioning why Assemblyman Santiago has not engage the surrounding communities for Public Comment regarding this EXCLUSIVE legislation. Further, the Boyle Heights-representative, has been derelict in disclosing his STEALTH endeavoring to constituents surrounding the USC Health Science Campus. BLUNTLY, Assemblyman's Santiago's efforts to grant private entity's Security Teams, full Peace Officer Status (and policing powers beyond their property boundaries) is a BAD PRECEDENT meriting a VETO from Governor Jerry Brown (Please review letter via Yosef Azri'el below)-----Scott Johnson.

A Petulant, Infant Assemblyman's Unprecedented Political Payback Against Colleague Adrin Nazarian?

As a now Sacramento-residing (allegedly), former live-with-Mommy "Infant, Petulant Assemblyman Mike Gatto" nears his termed-out date, his inner anger/vindictiveness is proving to be a divisive, politically-unprecedented character trait, causing internal-party turmoil among his legislative colleagues.
The former "Stay at Mommy's Silver Lake Home Assemblyman (for domicile purposes)" is proving that you can always resort to your inner-Infantile, Vindictive Mannerism to enact retribution on his perceived Political Enemies (ie. Anthony Portantino and Adrin Nazarian among others).
** Blogger's Note: Please pardon the bloggin pause as we give thanks to California Term Limits Law for the pending end of an Eight Year Reign of Vindictive, Infantile Leadership via a former "Stay at Mommy's Silver Lake Home (for domicile reasons) Infant Assemblyman", now a East Sacramento-residing, bitter Politico (with issues),

Mayor Sam's First EXCLUSIVE Female Politico HOT Briefs for Monday

With an alleged, certain OVERHEATED, coughing Female Democratic Presidential Candidate (on a breezy 75 degree day in New York City), as our inspiration, we PROUDLY proclaim our bloggin Gender Equality/Neutrality, in presenting thee first EXCLUSIVE, Female Politico Hot Briefs (noting the questionable political follies of our Sisters of Interest) for Monday. \
** Blogger's Disclaimer: The following is simply a bloggin exercise in granting equal access to ALL sub-groups of crony Politicos within the Los Angeles Political Machine .........., to our sardonic, discerning brand of political commentary. Unlike some within the Northeast San Fernando Valley Democratic Machine (especially Rosemary Jenkins), we endorse the right of ALL woman (including Immigrants such as Assemblywoman Patty Lopez) to seek (or retain) Political Office ........, and reserve the ability to deconstruct the political motives of those, who become mere tools of an increasingly, crony-exclusive Political Machine, as noted below----Scott Johnson.
CD 6 City Councilwoman Nury Martinez celebrate (Democratic) Women Equality Day with fellow Northeast San Fernando Valley Political Sisters Monica Rodriguez and Wendy Greuel.
** Any objective, discerning political observer (and inspiring Political Candidate) in the Northeast San Fernando Valley (NSFV), should be able to ascertain the growing backlash against a Political Machine, that is currently under Federal Investigation, which may have prompted CD 7 City Councilman Felipe Fuentes to move up his "Council Resignation to Lobbyist Riches Date". That stated, we must STRONGLY question why former Board of Public Works Vice-President, turn CD 7 City Council Candidate Monica Rodriguez, would embrace the endorsement of the likes of  NSFV Machine Member CD 6 City Councilwoman Nury Martinez? From Rodriguez Campaign Website.

“Councilwoman Nury Martinez has been an outstanding leader and I look forward to collaborating on the Council to advocate for our Northeast Valley districts.  As the only elected woman out of eighteen elected officials at City Hall, Councilwoman Martinez has been a champion not only for her district, but for families and children throughout the City,” said Monica Rodriguez.  “Our campaign is stronger thanks to Councilwoman Martinez’s support, and I look forward to joining her on the Council, advocating for the Northeast Valley’s fair share and putting our residents and families first.”

Maybe Nury can teach Monica the Campaign Money Laundry Practice of having Staffers hand out $20, $10 and $5 Dollar Bills to Family Members ........, for Public-financed Matching Funds Contributions?

Breaking News!! Hillary's "Medical Episode" at today's NYC September 11 Remembrance

In Breaking Presidential Campaign News, Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton had a "Medical Episode" during this morning's September 11 Remembrance Ceremony at Ground Zero.
Video of Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton's "Medical Episode" as she suddenly departed today's NYC's September 11 Remembrance Ceremony.
** Blogger's Note: Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton is continuing to own the weekend's Presidential Campaign News Cycle ........., for reasons adverse to her quest in garnering a "Billary Third Term" ........, as she suffers another "Medical Episode" at today's September 11 Remembrance at Ground Zero in New York City. The video above clearly shows an impaired Wife of Bill Clinton as she awaited transportation in the wake of her sudden departure from the Ground Zero proceedings. According to news sources, Clinton was taken to daughter's Chelsea's nearby apartment where she rested (and received treatment?........, then emerged a couple hours later to return to her home. This latest "Medical Episode" is surely to become a campaign issue that will test the openness and transparency of the Third Term-seeking "Billary Campaign" in disclosing her health records ......, and more important, test whether the BIAS Main Stream Media, will objectively report on the Medical Fitness of Hillary Clinton to be President .........., in comparison to its previous vetting of Bob Dole and John McCain?-----Scott Johnson.

** Blogger's Note: Happy Friday to all ..........., and profound apologies to all in our cyber audience regarding the lack of bloggin content in the last few days. Between emails, phone calls, personal interactions with sources, mixed with family and work obligations, the end result is a lack of quality time to keyboard content. That said, we have made adjustments to insure that content is posted on a consistent basis. 2. Which large, local private corporation is seeking State Legislation to create their own internal (and beyond property boundaries) PRIVATE Police Force ............, with full Peace Officer powers?
3. The Mayor Sam Blog will out a supposed "Community Activist ..............., Turned Politically-connected Bully", who needs a refresher course on respecting those who espouse a viewpoint, different from his/her's regurgitated Political Master's Talking Points.
4. Is City Attorney Mike Feuer looking ahead at a possible run for California Attorney General, if current AG Kamala Harris wins the US Senate Seat being vacated by fellow Leftist Progressive Barbara Boxer ..........., and who would want to replace City Attorney Feuer if his state-wide political aspirations were to come true?
5. We continue our bloggin, expanded coverage beyond the city limits as we present a Mayor Sam Exclusive regarding the "Pay to Smear Antics" of a formerly, award-winning Fishwrap of Record.

Post Labor Day Briefs (Galore) on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Wednesday

With less than two months remaining until the 2016 Presidential Elections, numerous, local down-ticket electoral proceedings, are sure to garner bloggin coverage .............., and serve as gauge of anti-Establishment sentiment in a deeply Blue City, County and State.
California 53rd Assembly District Candidates: Incumbent Assemblyman Miguel Santiago and challenger Sandra Mendoza.
** Blogger's Note: Happy post Labor Day cyber-greetings as we bloggin gear up for rampant coverage of the numerous, local down-ticket electoral proceedings as the deeply-Blue "Greece on the Pacific (a formerly Golden State) Political Machine" gears up to support the "Coughing (and should be Felonious) Her" in November's Presidential Elections. While the likes of the "Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street (aka LA Times)", fixate their joint Agenda Journalism/Editorial/Establishment PR Missives on furthering the "Racist Donald" narrative, a vacuum continues to suck away at needed, objective story budgeting regarding the local, contested down-ticket electoral contests. In the weeks ahead, we will fixate our coverage on certain contests that showcase the infra-mural skirmishes within the local Political Machine as exampled by the repeat battle in the 53rd Assembly District between incumbent Assemblyman Miguel Santiago and "ghost challenger (we are seeking to ascertain active campaign contact information)" Sandra Mendoza. The narrow 45-41% margin of votes separation, between the former Canoga Park-residing Assembly Speaker John Perez Staffer and Mendoza, is more remarkable when you consider that the second time challenger expended a total of $7,658.90 ..............., compare to an Incumbent blessed with $800,000-plus in Special Interests contributions. Below, we list other local contests, perking our bloggin interest----Scott Johnson
25th State Senate District Election between former Assemblyman Anthony Portantino and termed-out LA County Supervisor Michael Antonovich.
LA County Board of Supervisors Fourth District Election between Janice "Babs" Hahn and Steve Napolitano.
LA County Board of Supervisors Fifth District Election between Kathryn Barger and Progressive-upstart Darrell Park.
39th Assembly District Election between Assemblywoman Patty Lopez and former Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra.
43th Assembly District Election between Laura Friedman and Ardy Kassakhian.
