Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday

Its Official! Mr. and Mrs. Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson are the most litigious Political Power Couple in City of Los Angeles Politics.
Whoops! Will violations of the Brown Act led to a lawsuit which overturns the Coliseum Giveaway to the "University of Scandalous Conduct" (USC)?
The Wesson Way can result in costly litigation.
Great Bloggin Monday to our political cyber audience as the reigning City of Los Angeles Political Power Couple find themselves in the middle of another Backroom Deal, gone litigious.
Los Angeles City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herb "Mini Amin" Wesson's wife Fabian was all too willing in playing the enabling role in signing away the Historic Los Angeles Coliseum to the "University of Scandalous Conduct. But like husband "Mini Amin" Wesson's 2012 Redistricting dealings, Mrs. "Mini Amin" Wesson's actions as the President of the California Science Center Board may get overturn in a court of law as the LA Times and the open government
group California Aware, scored a major legal victory. From the LA Times.
A judge Thursday said the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission appeared to have repeatedly violated the state's open-meeting law during its months of closed-door deliberations on USC's lease of the taxpayer-owned stadium.
In pointed language, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Luis A. Lavin said he was prepared to issue an injunction against the commission that would restrict what it could discuss in secret sessions and require it to record all of its private meetings for three years.
Lavin said the commission had "driven a Mack truck through" a narrow exemption in the Ralph M. Brown Act that could allow government bodies to exclude the public from certain lease deliberations.
DOCUMENT: Read the ruling
....... and will we be reading another judicial ruling on the 2012 Redistricting Backroom Dealings in the near future?

** As 83% of your Federal Government remains in operation in the latest political slimdown, guess what was the topic of a City Clowncil Central Committee Special Agenda? The Federal Government Shutdown. CD 3 City Clowncilman Bob "Two Job/ Face" Blumenfield was join by his fellow Clowncil Central Committee Dependentcrats in bemoaning the supposed Republican Shutdown affect on Senior Meals and housing for the Homeless.

** "The Old Gray Collectivist Hag on Spring Street" (aka LA Times) has just posted a poll on Mayor Eric Garcetti first one hundred days in office. A good majority give the son of former District Attorney Gil Garcetti favorable marks, but also a good amount of people don't know the new mayor enough to judge him.

** LA Daily News City Hall Beat Scribe "tips us off" to the possible Bastard Child of former Mayor Antonio Villar's Measure J Transportation Sales Tax Hike, that was voted down by less than 15,000 voters. Interesting to note that LA County Supervisor Mike Antonivich is fronting support for the new Tax Measure.

** In a story that should remind our readers of another "controversial charter school", the co-founder of the West San Fernando Valley Ivy Academia, has been sentence to four years of license plate production for misappropriation of $200,000 of school funds.

Scott, A FEDERAL JUDGE ruled L.A. City Council repeatedly BROKE U.S. & California law, day in and day out, at council meetings. That's a WHOLE LOT of items/issues; and billions and billions of dollars of shady corruption, the judge said was, "censored.'' NO RECORD OF THIS RULING ON THE MAYOR SAM BLOG? #Joke?
