Mario Brito purged from the Occupy Los Angeles Movement?

** TGIF Happy Hour Update: The cost associated with Mario Brito's Occupy LA theatrics rose to $4.7 Million Dollars via the LA Times this P.M.---Scott Johnson.
Brothers and Sisters blog check! Its time for a people's bloggin post on the demise of former Occupy LA front person and Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Council member Mario Brito. Many will remember Brito as the most visible of the Occupy LA leaders who's legacy was leaving behind a poop-laden brownfield and a million dollar-plus tab for LAPD overtime. But as the video discloses, Brito's legacy (or dubious one) is someone who was not afraid to get in someone face and that did not go ever well with many in the Occupy Movement as highlighted by the."Mario Brito Union Thug" chant.
In this next video, Brito is nearly assaulted and force to exit Pershing Square via the corner of 5th and Grand with score of  Occupy LA agitators on his tail. And what was the last chant via the "people's mike" about Brito having posed as a Occupy LA leader. Leave no doubt, Occupy LA knows how to conduct a purging when needed. But don't feel bad for Mario for his brothers and sisters at SEIU will take care of their comrade.

Like-minded radicals equates with continuing Occupy L.A. Standoff

Blogger's notes: As of 10 A.M., Occupy LA still stands (and seeking legal protection) after some overnight theatrics that resulted in four arrests and Mayor Villar has taken to the official Tahoe in pursuit of media outlets that will give him air time to discuss his vague deadline in an grass less lot at City Hall. Make no doubt that Mayor Villar's support of the grievances of the Occupy Movement and more important, respect for the behind the scenes backers (County Labor Federation, SEIU), are the reasons that LAPD has been held back from enforcing the law. But another reason for Mayor Villar's dovish behavior in the Occupy LA farce, can be found in his radical youth and the similarities with Occupy LA Red Rabble Organizer Mario Brito as we note below. Meanwhile, the damage and cost piles on---Scott Johnson.                                     .
Lincon Heights Neighborhood Council Member and Occupy L.A. Red Rabble Organizer Mario Brito, shares the same "radical DNA" as a certain campus organizer below
City Terrace native Tony Villar knows something about occupying public buildings in the pursuit of a radical political agenda. Villar would go on to change his name and persona in the pursuit of political office.

Occupy LA preps for the "end game" after getting notice from Deputy Mayor Matt Szabo.

Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Council Member and Occupy LA Red Rabble Organizer Mario Brito with National Layers Guild's Jim Lafferty on the South Steps of City Hall.  They announced that the city was closing City Hall Park Space to camping effected Monday at 12:01 A.M. As they communicated via Occupy LA's "repetitive form of speech" Brito and Lafferty made it clear that they had support of labor (SEIU) and clergy groups. Tonight should be a festive but tense night at Occupy LA, as they await a "LAPD blue dawn" on Monday.

Occupy LA videos of City Liason Meeting with Deputy Mayor Matt Szabo 11-23-11

Blogger notes: Occupy LA has uploaded to Youtube videos of their 11-23-11 Meeting with Deputy Mayor Matt Szabo. Szabo stated to the group that the "park space" around City Hall would be close next week, forcing Occupy LA to relocate. Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Council Member and Occupy LA "Red Rabble Organizer" Mario Brito responded that Szabo's statement were "tantamount to a declaration of war on Occupy LA". Highlighting the collusion between Occupy LA and SEIU,  Brito relayed a message from Mike Garcia of SEIU stating that any actions against Occupy LA would meet with "major street actions by SEIU". We should note that Matt Szabo does a good job of playing "good cop" with supposed empathy for the cause of Occupy LA. But come a week from today, his verbiage will be remember as double talk with restoration efforts getting underway around City Hall---Scott Johnson in CD 14.
Part One with most of the action.
Part Two with follow up comments.
Part Three, the rambling ends.

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday

One day left to start of runoff campaign for CD 15.
** Great chilly morning to all in Ciudad de Los Angeles and as usual with the "Former Fishwrap of Record" these days, they join the campaign proceedings late in the game. First, in an editorial that should meet quickly with the latest canine trainee, they endorsed former Janice Hahn staffer (and Republican!) Gordan Teuber for CD 15. Did the Times "Birkenstocks on the ground reporters" note that the sinking "U.S.I.S. Pat McOsker" have been hitting Joe Buscaino with the "secret Republican card for the last week? Did the Times just note that the top three candidates have some sort of union backing? But the only thing fresh and news breaking as we enter the last 24 hours before the polls open, is the fact that San Pedro businessman Jayme Wilson has pumped $100,000+ of hard-earned money into his campaign, in the forlorn hope of making the runoff.
