Notes on the Post Election Scorecard for Wednesday

As a minute minority of  "Greece on the Pacific" (formerly the "Golden State) voters bother to exercise their civic right in yesterday's elections, we bloggin endeavor to keyboard our thoughts on the numerous sub-plots from the just-completed ballot proceedings.
Mr. Speaker, we have some "Dear John Ballots Results" for your review.
Dear John, whoops, respectfully former Assembly Speaker John Perez (noted First Cousin of former LA Failure Mayor Antonio Villar), no amount of Special Interest money or Getty House deal-cutting, can hide the political fact that you came within .1% (2,000+ votes) of becoming the biggest loser of the new "Greece on the Pacific's" Open Primary proceedings. Once Californians are made aware of your desires to gut Prop 13 and ties to a certain "First Cousin", the chances of you becoming the first "Villar" elected to state-wide office will become more remote.
Sorry Trujillo, but losing is what you do best (unless the opposing candidate is terminally ill).
In checking the latest missives from last evenings 33rd Congressional District Contest, neither State Senator Ted Lieu or top vote getter Republican Elan Carr have reveal any terminal illnesses. Thus, for less than average Campaign Manager/Consultant Michael "MEAT/Chief Parker" Trujillo, the streak continues ............., which motivates us to remind our former bloggin colleague of the following from this "bloggin, mystical dialog between Ace Smith and Trujillo from their infamous Measure B days" and lets not forget this ......"We are pretty positive that we have over 65 per cent of the votes in the city," Trujillo revealed. This measure only needs a 50-per cent vote. "I will go on record by stating right now, that if we lose Measure B, I will never work in a political campaign in my life," Trujillo promised. Can you say Karma?
The rotting Calderon Political Turkeys that the voters rejected.
There will come a near political future when these poll results noted the demise of a certain Montebello (CD 14 East) Political Familia and the end of one party rule within "Greece on the Pacific" (maybe again the "Golden State") ........
57th Assembly District.

How did Mayor Eric Garcetti's endorsements play out?
For Mayor Eric Garcetti, his previously noted endorsements for LA County Board of Supervisors District 1 (Hilda Solis), District 3 (John Duran), LA County Assessor (Jeffery Prang) and the 33rd Congressional District (Ted Lieu), fared well with only Duran failing to win outright or make the November Runoff.

Morning Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for President's Day 2014

With no apologies to the NSA bloggin snoopers on this President's Day, we find no fault (as President Barack "H" Obama and his Liberal friends still do) in paying homage to a decent man of character, George "Dubya" Bush.
Do soaring deficits, intrusive government spying, fail foreign policy and something called Obamacare, make you long for a return of "Dubya"?
Did "Dubya" ever have this type of "Political Pinocchio Moment"?
Did "Dubya" ever say anything as repugnant as Hillary's comments, regarding the terror-related deaths of four Americans in Bengazi, Libya?
Great President's Day to all as we honor the 40-plus Americans who have been voted to lead, in four years increments, this greatest experiment in free government the world has over seen, at least up to 2008. That said, lets remember that most our Presidents began their political journey to the White House on a local level somewhere in America, Thus, on this day, shall we focus on those local politicos with "upwards ambitions"?
** Moving on with the local emphasis, City of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was part of a panel discussion regarding EXTREME Weather yesterday on ABC's "This Week with George "the former Clinton Aide" Stephanopoulos. No one should be surprise that a former Democratic-operative, turn member of the Main Stream Media, would stack a discussion on alleged EXTREME weather with shills advocating human-caused Climate Change. As for Mayor Garcetti's comments on the panel, maybe our first year Chief Executive should forgo espousing Climate Science for now and take a more EXTREME approach to something called an AGENDA as the likes of LA Weekly's Gene Maddaus and LA Wave Newspaper Columnist Betty Pleasant, keyboard missives on the new Mayor's lack of policy follow through.
** Back in this blogger's political backyard of CD 14 (both Downtown and east of LA River portions), Tom Topping of the Boulevard Sentinel Newspaper (and now daily updated webpage) caught this moment of upwards political day-dreaming via the "Dear Charro, Princeton Graduate", City Clowncilman Jose Huizar, at last week's "State of Eagle Rock Propaganda Event".
,”The other way I spend my time as a State Legislator.” The two term city councilman retracted it quickly and denied there was anything to it later, but he will be termed out eventually and his political future was obviously on his mind.
..... maybe the "Dear Charro, Princeton Graduate" is already thinking about new public employment come July,1, 2015?
With no apologies to "MEAT/ Chief Parker", every vanity act of "Upward, Blind Political Ambition" needs a "MEATHEAD" supporter.

Meathead endorses "Boss D'Arcy Rizzo's" Greuel for Congress.
** Somewhere above, the late, great political observer Archie Bunker is nodding his head in affirmation that former Sitcom Son in Law, Rob "MEATHEAD" Reiner, is dead from the neck up, for endorsing former City Controller and Mayoral Candidate Wendy "Bozz D'Arcy Rizzo's" Greuel, to replace Henry Waxman in Congress.
Happy Holiday!!

Morning Exclusive Briefs on the Los Angeles Political Machine for Monday

With no apologies to our former Blogger Michael "MEAT" Trujillo, Mayor Sam discloses the results of a recent poll that highlights the liability of Failure Mayor Antonio Villar's endorsement of ex City Controller and defeated Mayoral Candidate Wendy "Boss D"Arcy Rizzo" Greuel's Blind Congressional Ambitions.
In a Mayor Sam Exclusive, we have been made aware of a recent poll of mostly West LA Anglo Voters, that shows the Failure Mayor cover subject of this LA Magazine Classic, as being rated positive by only 36% of those survey.
But more disturbing for the "Boss D''Arcy Rizzo Greuel's" Congressional Campaign Team of Ace Smith, Sean Clegg and "MEAT", is that those polled had a 58% negativity rating of the former City Terrace Native. This cannot be spin into anything but negative as the latest Blind Political Ambition of the former CD 2 City Councilwomen, may have meet its "Endorsement of Political Death". (** Meanwhile LA County Democrats are strongly endorsing State Senator Ted Lieu with a possible California Party Endorsement likely).
** Other Bloggin Exclusives:
** If CD 14 City Clowncil Committee Member Jose Huizar thought that his recently-announced fundraising totals, would act as an fiscal deterrence to ward off potential challengers in 2015, then I have a CLARTS Fund Audit to share. The fact that the "Dear Charro, Princeton Graduate", with the help of his "Political Soul Brother", City Clowncil Central Committee Strongman Herman "Mini Amin" Wesson, brought in over $300,000 of mostly Downtown LA Special Interest Money ($275,000 after expenses), has only serve to increase the list of possible future candidates. The latest names being broached include former LAUSD School Board Member David Tokofsky, Boyle Heights Activist Nadine Diaz, along with out-going LA County Board of Supervisor Gloria Molina and Mayor Eric Garcetti's Chief of Staff Ana Guerrero, who has supposedly moved into Eagle Rock.
** As "Greece on the Pacific's" State Assembly Speaker John "Tony Villar's Cousin" Perez eyes state-wide office ( Controller), the campaign to replace him may have a familiar name, only second generation. Richard Polanco Jr., yes the son of the former Assemblyman and State Senate Majority Leader, is strongly considering seeking to replace Perez, in a Assembly District, the Polanco Family has generations of attachment to. If Polanco Jr. chooses to run, he would challenge LACCD Trustee and Assemblyman Perez's Staffer Miguel Santiago, who's LACCD Bio states the following.
Miguel Santiago has been a member of the LACCD Board since 2008.
A community organizer, educator and government representative, Miguel prides himself on working hard to empower Los Angeles’ working families. Born to immigrant parents, Miguel attended local public schools, community college and then graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) majoring in History.
A lifelong resident of the San Fernando Valley, Miguel has been an active, steady and consistent member of his community. He's a founding member and two-term past President of the Canoga Park Neighborhood Council. With his assistance, Canoga Park became a nationally recognized "All-American City".

.........., can you say Carpetbagger?
