With less than 48 hours remaining before the CD-7 Runoff Election Day, the "MENTIROSA Monica Rodriguez Campaign" goes DESPERATE (with VERY possible legal ramifications), as it attempts to compare Challenger Karo Torossian to former "Indicted, Convicted (Ooops!! Overturned on Appeal) CD 7/2 City Councilman Richard AlarCON". 

Former CD-7 City Councilman Richard Alarcon must be STILL laughing after The MENTIROSA Monica Rodriguez Campaign FALSELY stated his (OVERTURNED) Conviction on a Campaign Mailer. 

** Blogger's Notes: With less than 48 hours remain before Tuesday's CD-7 City Council Runoff Election, its READILY apparent that "The MENTIROSA (LIAR in Espanol) Monica Rodriguez Campaign" is DESPERATE. As the Daily News reports that an investigation has been requested by City Council President (and current CD-7 Administrator) Herb Wesson regarding the ILLEGAL removal of Challenger Karo Torossian Campaign Signs, the MENTIROSA Monica Campaign sent out a REPUGNANT ATTACK MAILER that insinuates Candidate Torossian exhibits the same "UNETHICAL TRAITS" that led to the former CD-7 City Coucilman Richard Alarcon's "Indictment and Conviction (allegedly)" on Residency Issues. But (and a BIG BUT it is), the MENTROSA Monica Campaign FAIL to note that AlarCON's Conviction was OVERTURNED on Appeal ......., which prompted the comment by the, NOW FORMERLY Indicted and Convicted CD-2/7 City Councilman Richard AlarCON below. In retrospect, a past ethically-challeged POLITICAL MENTIROSA (in 2007), is now a DESPERATE POLITICAL MENTIROSA (in 2017)----Scott Johnson.

What is the difference between Richard Alarcón and Rod Wright? Alarcon is Hispanic and he’s been vindicated. Wright is Black and he hasn’t. I asked Wright: what are you going to do? He said his appeal was filed with the Second District Court of Appeals last spring and he said he and his attorney are waiting for oral arguments to be scheduled. In light of Alarcón’s acquittal, that district attorney thing we have issued a statement to the effect that her office is “reviewing the court’s opinion and deciding on other options.”

In a nutshell, here’s what you need to know about Schwartz: He’s thoughtful, intelligent and running out of a true desire to help a city that sometimes feels like it’s melting into an economically ravaged, homelessness-plagued sludge. He’s no gadfly and the campaign for this married father of three is serious. He genuinely appears to care far more about the state of Los Angeles than the personal power the mayor’s office affords. At the same time, Schwartz seems shockingly out of his league, with a platform and a race strategy that are as wobbly as a plate of Clifton’s Jell-O. Granted his candidacy is in its infancy, but more than anything he seems to be banking on riding a populist swell against politics as usual. He repeatedly criticized Garcetti and cited Los Angeles’ myriad problems and weaknesses, but was unable to articulate what he personally has done that qualifies him to run a city of 4 million people.

In layman's terms, its about being a candidate speed bump to slow Mayor Gar-SOFT-ee's Sacramento ambitions.

Call A Wahmbulance for Richard Alarcon

Here's a guy, who a jury said broke the law and sold out his communities, including Sunland-Tujunga, getting lots of crocodile tears from nice old ladies awaiting the second coming of Tom Bradley to nice but confused Sun Valley grillmasters who rub shoulders and esteem themselves with local pols while telling other communities to "deal with" the effects of their latest "project."

Anyway, when I think of things these days regarding the state of the city, I ask myself, "What did Zuma Dogg tell us 3-5-10 years ago?" Fortunately, I can easily search the archives of Mayor Sam or one of Zuma's many blogs to find just that. Or even a Google search turns up a treasure trove.

Alarcon once said he didn't want Zuma Dogg dictating policy. But in the end, Zuma Dogg was right about so many things and Alarcon is now a convicted criminal.

The former Councilman has been convicted of perjury and lying about his residence so he could dump an Assembly seat he had been elected to a month before and take up one more lucrative term on the LA City Council. This is not about voters, not about the people, not about community, it's about these people securing as more power and prestige as possible and securing some kind of payday so that they don't ever have to work a real job.

Once the voters start to get how things work, they might start sending a message and vote for people who will actually do the people's business. In the meantime, Richard Alarcon has a message for the dopey voters.

The backlash continues to grow against CD 1 City Clowncil Central Committee Member Gil "Broken Deal Cedillo" as longtime Cypress Park Community Activist Art Pulido (wearing cap below) is the latest to take umbrage over alleged Backroom Dealings of Clowncil Member Cedillo and staff.

From ardent campaign supporter to ...........

........., calling out "Broken Deal Cedillo" in writing, over alleged Back Room Deal involving the Cypress Park Community Center and Connected Non-Profit El Centro del Pueblo's Executive Director Sandra Figueroa-Villa.

Its Tuesday and the backlash grows against CD 1 City Clowncil Central Committee Member Gil "Broken Deal Cedillo".

Longtime Cypress Park based Political Activist Art Pulido is the latest to go public in stating their discontent with "Broken Deal Cedillo" and staff.

Pulido's grievance against Cedillo is centered on the selection of an established Community Based Organization to provide services out of the Cypress Park Community Center. Contrary to the wishes of the community, "Broken Deal Cedillo's staff has offer the use of the facility to the Echo Park Connected Non Profit El Centro del Pueblo, headed up by Mayor Garcetti-appointed Police Commissioner Sandra Figueroa-Villa.

It should be noted that "Broken Deal Cedillo Staffer Conrado Terrazas is a member of the Board of Directors for El Centro del Pueblo which has prompted allegations of Conflict of Interest to be leveled against Terrazas by those in and around the Cypress Park Community.

The fact that Pulido has put his allegations in writing is a dire sign of growing discontent.

** Former Pulido workout buddy, turned past Failure Mayor Antonio "Tony" Villar recently returned from Israel with ex New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, in a show of support for the besieged Jewish State. Villar then signed his name to a ghost opinion missive in the Orange County Register that called upon the State Department to lifted the FAA Ban on US Airline flights to Israel. 

** LA Wave Newspaper Columnist Betty Pleasant launched a "Written Missive of Disclosure" (WMD) that chronicles LA County Board of Supervisor Mark "Home Renovation-Thomas puppet LAUSD District One School Board Candidate Alex Johnson's ceaseless, vile attacks against Lauded Educator and Challenger George McKenna. 

** Ron Kaye notes at City Watch that after 30 years within the Los Angeles Political Machine, no one should be surprise how former CD 2/7 City Clowncil Central Committee Member Richard AlarCON met his political demise in a LA Courtroom.
