McCain On SNL: Brilliant!

John McCain joined Tina Fey as Sarah Palin for a brilliant send up of himself as well as the shopping network, QVC.  The haters can hate but this guy is funny and one good man.  We could only be so lucky to have him as President.

Guest host Ben Affleck detailed his history of supporting losing Presidential candidates, hence he was throwing his endorsement to John McCain (yes, it's a joke folks).

If you're reading this now, stay tuned, there's more McCain to come.

ACCESS HOLLYWOOD: "Sarah Palin to Appear on SNL"

Such Silly Willies out there to suggest that they "knew this" two weeks ago. I guess they've got better sources than Access Hollywood.

The Double Standard Continues

Saturday Night Live aired a piece that was critical of liberal billionaire financier George Soros and major Democratic donors Herbert and Marion Sandler. In a remarkable example of "fair and balanced" satire the piece slammed President Bush, House Democrats, the Sandlers, Soros, self-absorbed yuppies and irresponsible sub-prime borrowers. The Democrats had a cow and NBC removed it from the internet.

In the meatime, a few weeks before, SNL aired an unbelievable skit accusing Todd Palin of incest. Was there a hue and cry from the same folks who are upset that McCain has exposed Obama's past leftist ties? Nope. But NBC at least had the decency (or maybe they were just scared) to remove the video from their website. Could you imagine if the same skit accused Barack Obama of having sex with his daughters?

Outclassing both SNL and the Democrats, John McCain on the other hand, much to the displeasure of some of his supporters, took on a McCain voter who referred to Obama as an Arab.

Palin to Appear on SNL

No, not Tina Fey but the real deal this time. Saturday Night Live has announced Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin will appear on the October 25th episode of the comedy program.

Palin hopes to get the chance to imitate Tina Fey and confesses to being a fan. No word on if the look-a-like twosome will appear together but if they did, what kind of skit would it be?

I'd suggest a remake of The Patty Duke Show or perhaps The Parent Trap. Or the 40something Olson Twins of the Future - from Hell.

A Funny Video and Some Censorship

By the way, unless you hunt around the internet and are lucky enough to find a copy before it's pulled, you can't see a very funny SNL skit that was critical of both President Bush and Congressional Democrats as well as billionaire liberal George Soros. NBC has pulled this video but yet has allowed SNL skits that make fun of John McCain and Sarah Palin to remain.

It's not at all the first time SNL has been censored, the video below, a parody of children's TV feature, Schoolhouse Rock, which was critical of NBC's corporate parent, GE, amongst other large corporations, was also allegedly banned by the Peacock Network.
