On a post about a potential run for the US Senate by former Governor Jeb Bush:

Another Bush?
I remember another "compassionate conservative" from a southern state named Bush. He fucked our country up but good. I know next to nothing about Jeb Bush and I don't need to know anything about him to know:

1. I despise him
2. He is evil
3. He must be defeated
4. We can never let another Bush, or Bush progeny anywhere near any kind of real power again.

Palin Derangement Syndrome Causes Hearing Loss

First the Palin haters were sure that Sarah Palin made an ignorant comment to the Israeli Ambassor to the US but it turned out it was a mis-quote by a lazy or biased repoter.

Next the blog-o-wacks were certain that someone at a  Sarah Palin rally was chanting the N word when Palin mentioned The One and then ignored it, failing to chastise the racist.

The problem with that is the tale of the tape: the rally attendee was shouting "re-distributor" in an apparent reference to remarks made by the Democratic nominee about how he intends to re-distribute wealth in the US.

There could be some hope for Democrats though as a blogger at Daily Kos, the blog so badly infected with PDS that even McAffee won't be able to cure the virus, cops to the mistake and asks folk to move on.

Your Homework for Tonight

As a public service, in an effort to see how much you are learning from reading Mayor Sam, and to test the validity of your ability to argue and further develop your positions, as your teacher, I am assigning you the following homework, due tonight:

1. Explain how Daily Kos, Salon, the New York Times, Matt Damon, Lindsay Lohan, Mrs. Lindsay Lohan and Pam Anderson are unbiased news sources when it comes to Sarah Palin.

2. Give us a full explanation of how Zuma Dogg actually costs the City money/wastes time with a complete accounting. Compare and contrast this to the time wasted by Council Members who are 1) Tardy 2) Absent 3) Asleep (well that's only one CM we know of) 4) Crafting resolutions against the War in Iraq, endorsing Obama and declaring global warming a "really bad thing" 5) photo ops and 6) Singing songs on Fridays.
