CD 1 Councilman Ed Reyes Staffer Politician Husband never file tax returns for his Consulting Firm

While the Lincoln Heights Community faces the loss of American Veteran Ben Lee's Donut Shop business to the expansion wishes of 7-eleven, City Councilman Ed Reyes Lincoln Heights Field Office Director and former CD 14 Councilman Nick Pacheco staffer Sonia Jimenez is dealing with the embarrassing business dealings of her politician husband Montebello School Board Member Hector Chacon.

Chacon's political consulting firm Quantum Managment Services has never filed California tax returns and has been suspended from doing business in the state.

Hector Chacon's problems are the latest for the former Ramona Gardens family turned dubious political dynasty of Commerce/Montebello. Brother and Central Basin Water District Board Member Art Chacon was  hit with $30,000 in fines from the FPPC for numerous campaign reporting violations and half brother Hugo Argumedo was forced to resign from the City of Commerce City Council for lying in recent court proceedings.

We should also note that another Chacon sibling Leticia was an prominent campaign worker for Councilman Reyes first campaign in 2001, collecting some close to $20,000 in campaign salaries. In addition to Leticia other dubious Southeast LA players who were associated with Reyes's 2001 campaign were City of Commerce's Roger Bagne, indicted South Gate/ Albert Robles Associate Angel Gonzalez and City of Bell Figurehead Pedro Carrillo. 

And who is the point person for 7-eleven in their efforts to open more beer and wine selling locations within sensitive communities at the cost of the American Dream for the likes of Navy Veteran Ben Lee? Urban Associates President and CEO Pedro Carrillo.
