"Has someone been boycotting the dentist?"
Memo to "Janice Hahn for Lt. Governor" Campaign Manager Michael "MEAT" Trujillo, there is nothing worse in politics than a candidate for office, who panders to racial groups with cheap publicity stunts.
Your latest endeavor on the behalf of "Team Janice", is a classic example.
Attempting to one-up your candidate call for a boycott of all things Arizona, you now seek to advise the Los Angeles Lakers, on what to bring with them to Arizona, if they beat the Utah Jazz and move on to the play the "Los Sols" of Phoenix. (as of 8:30 PM Monday, they are looking to sweep).
Councilwoman Janice Hahn, who proposed the yet-to-be-approved city boycott, says she's sending a checklist of items for Lakers players to bring on road trips to Arizona so they don't end up spending one cent in the desert state. "Councilwoman Hahn is confident that the Lakers are only going to need two trips to Arizona to sweep the series," Michael Trujillo, the manager of her campaign for Lieutenant Governor, told the Weekly. "Furthermore she will be sending a checklist of items for each Lakers player to bring so they won't need to purchase anything while in Arizona."
Hold the friggin presses!! Are you telling us that the likes of Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and the rest of the Lakers are going to give your cheap publicity stunt the time of day? I can't wait for Bryant to tweet his thoughts on your "checklist". BTW, can you send a copy to
redspotincd14@yahoo.com? Maybe we can title this list the
80 FAKE ITEMS TO BOYCOTT IN ARIZONA. Sound familiar?
But all blogging mocking aside, have you given any consideration to a possible backlash, regarding your pandering on the Arizona issue?
As your "Team Janice" and "Team Gavin" seek to race "far-left" on the Arizona issue, most California voters are going to view your pandering with disdain. Whether it is "Team Janice" or "Team Gavin", that prevails in June, voters are going to look for someone on the important economic issues, that will prevent California from becoming "Greece in the USA". That also includes reining in entitlements to undocumented immigrants. Surely, KFI's John and Ken will have some new material, courtesy of you, to share with their million-plus audience on that front.
So Michael, pander on, seek to exploit the race card for all its vile worth. Plus, your political follies are always good for clickety clicks, right dum dums?
OTHER NEWS:
** Better yet, lets call this the "Mayor Parkervillar Bankrupt Chronicles".
Longtime Newsweek Magazine Beltway Conservative George Will, is the latest to
"take keyboard" to the economic malaise at 200 Spring Street. Will offers this poignant observation and grasps of local civic history,
The mayor's residence is near Wilshire Boulevard, which is named for a socialist who made and lost several fortunes before dying destitute. The life of Henry Wilshire is a cautionary tale for this city where the climate is usually Mediterranean and the fiscal climate is now Greek.

How about $304 million dollars? Then the next question is what are the likes of the CIM Group, AEG, and USC, going to get for their future development endeavors?
** Only in Los Angeles, is where you will find city elected officials, give a
"land bank giveaway" to a billionaire, for his museum to self. In this case it is billionaire, "shadow mayor" Eli "Lord" Broad, who is given tribute from his admiring underlings.
