Mayor Sam Exclusive: Monica Garcia's "Pay to Avoid Inspector General Accountability Scheme" at LAUSD?

In a Mayor Sam Exclusive, we question whether campaign contributions to LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia by the Academia Semillas del Pueblo Charter School, were a "Pay to Avoid Inspector General Accountability Scheme".
LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia.
Blogger's note: As the candidates for the LAUSD District Two Office (including the incumbent Monica Garcia) prepare for tomorrow's LA-32 Neighborhood Council LAUSD Candidate Forum (** please read disclosure at end of this post). Mayor Sam discloses the following LAUSD Office of Inspector Gereral Audit Report (or lack of) on the operations pf the controversial Academia Semillas del Pueblo Charter School. For regular readers of this blog and local knowledgeable political observers, our musings on this troubling center of educational indoctrination, have been well documented. Yet this report, which has gone unnoticed by local media, raises troubling questions whether a "Pay to Avoid Inspector General Accountability Scheme" exists within LAUSD, under the reign of LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia. We post below the report, mixed with the latest campaign contributions to Monica Garcia from Academia Semillas del Pueblo staff and associates---Scott Johnson.

Monica Dreams Big .......... for Free Reelection Exposure?

Does LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia's Reelection Campaign, unethically benefit from free exposure, via her Dream Big Campaign Billboard?
** Blogger's note: With no apologies to Mayor Villar's Education Machine/ Mega Mouthpiece Monica Garcia (called "La Gorda", or Gorda for short), we would find the following billboard almost comical (actually it has plenty of political comedic value), if not for the serious ethical campaign implications. Garcia is facing a serious reelection battle against a UTLA "anyone but Monica" mandate. Thus, her reelection, and the continuing control of LAUSD by Mayor Villar's Educational Machine, is likely to become a very expensive proposition. While the what is being called the "Gorda Boo Boo Billboard", has no overt political message (this is one of 175 billboards promoting the LA Fund for Public Education city wide), the mere fact that many potential voters will see this billboard, for an unknown period leading up to March's Election Day, is worthy of an Ethics Commission Inquiry, on its placement and legality---Scott Johnson.

The "Reigning Gorda" of Mayor Villar's Education Machine MonicLAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia..
The "Gorda Boo Boo Dream Big Billboard" on El Sereno's Huntington Drive, within Garcia's LAUSD District Two boundaries.
What nearby Controversial Charter School is "Gorda Boo Boo" smiling at?
The former "Gorda Boo Boo" nowadays dreams of big reelection contributions from the associates of supporter Marcos Aguilar's Academia Semilla del Pueblo's Charter Indoctrination Collective.
In closing, we recommend in the spirit of educational ethics, replacing the "Gorda Boo Boo Billboard" with this salient alternative, especially with the infamous Academia campus within its shadow.

LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia facing growing Reelection Challenge

The list of challengers is growing against LAUSD School Board President and Mayor Antonio Villar's Chief Education Enabler Monica Garcia.
The LAUSD District 2 Candidate Forum a week from tomorrow in Lincoln Heights, may be the opening event in a likely contentious reelection campaign for the community-divisive LAUSD School Board President Monica Garcia. As noted in the candidate forum flier above, the likes of respected Education Advocate Scott Folsom, Educator Isabel Vasquez and Robert Skeels, are some of the growing potential candidates, seeking to bounce Mayor Villar's "Chief Education Enabler from office.
Garcia and Mayor Villar, are facing a growing political battle to maintain a majority of like-minded allies on the seven member Board of Education. With like-minded fellow Board Member Nury Martinez eyeing a possible bid to replace CD 6 City Councilman Tony Cardenas, if his campaign for Congress is successful, Garcia may find her board majority, going the way of high test scores at the favorite charter school of choice, Academia Semillas del Pueblo.
Were Monica Garcia and Race Monger Marie Salas, separated at birth?
But before we lead Garcia out to pasture, let not underestimate her campaign fiscal war chest and community supporters such as El Sereno Community Gardens/Academia supporter Marie Salas, who along with the likes of connected CBOs (Inner City Struggle), will pound the pavement in support of another term for the "Big Gorda Enabler" of Mayor Villar's Education Debacle.
