New Public Policy Institute of California Poll Results


A new Public Policy Institute of California survey that came out today shows an 8 point lead for Jerry Brown, Proposition 19 (the marijuana legalization initiative) losing support, Proposition 23 (the Texas Oil/Koch Bros backed prop) headed for defeat, and 6 out of 10 Californians struggling to pay their rent or mortgage.

Jerry Brown leads Meg Whitman by 8 points in the governor’s race. 
Proposition 19- Support 44%  Oppose 49%
Proposition 23- Support 37%  Oppose 48%
62% of Californians surveyed by PPIC say they're worried about having enough money to pay their rent or mortgage.
