Do you know what is dangerous?

A person who leaves the Republican Party to join the Democratic Party.

Why?

Sick and tired of the Republican lies and pimping for votes. Lack of leadership. This person has insight and the DNC party will gain from this.

My advice to Jose Huizar.

Don't park in the handicapped spots.

Pacheco will be in the bushes with a telephoto lens.

Daily News
Incredible deal
Re: "Mayor defends jet use for trip" (Nov. 09):

The mayor and deputy mayor of Los Angeles going to Detroit for $438 was an incredible deal. A comparison search on expedia.com using first class tickets (a private jet is beyond this class), nonstop and the next day return yielded two tickets on Northwest Airlines for $2,846. Other sites are in this general price neighborhood. I want flights on these private jets. How can I sign up? I'll pay the same rate as the mayor or even a bit more.

Mayor Sam is sleeping on a killer story in LA Times yesterday.

"Building Agency's Soliciting of Funds Is Halted
Villaraigosa orders the city department to quit requesting donations from the industry.
By Richard Fausset Times Staff Writer

Several of those developers, Mark Handel (MWH) and T. Viole Construction Co., have given record sums of money to non-city committeeS belonging to Alex Padilla. Check for yourself. Every major pending & controversial project is from these people in C.D.7

Yeah, it's simply amazing when a day goes by without some of Alger's self-promotion - kinda like it would be to go a week without seeing our Mayor on TV.

I think Alger's campaign people told him to stay off the blog and get out and meet people. I'm on his email list and it appears he does about one event every other day. He actually showed up at an event in the east valley with a suit on. That's about when I thought he must be serious.

I think Mayor Sam should be covering more of the Robert Scheer firing from the Times. I'm canceling my subscription although I personally have always liked the Republican Daily News better because they cover local issues. But we don't need 2 Republican papers in L.A. so I'm picking the one that has the most local issues and I'll miss Scheer tremendously. I'll miss Michael Ramirez also, even though I'm a Dem. I needed humor from the other side.

The only reason to read the Times is for the sports page or the movie star gossip or better yet.. which movie stars are buying houses.

Oh yeah, I'm going to miss the Times. Not at all.

I have not been very happy with the Times. But, they are doing a series of stories on Conservators. If you have not taken the time to read it, please do. This is a fabulous article about issue that needed to be exposed.
