Antonio Villaraigosa, Jack Weiss, Wendy Greuel and Laundered Campaign Contributions
Here's a reason to join with Dennis Zine and other Council Members who are voting for anyone but Jack Weiss for City Attorney. Don't forget this Emmy Award winning KNBC report that alleges how Weiss was received laundered campaign funds. In addition to Weiss, KNBC says other candidates who took laundered funds include Mayor Villaraigosa, City Controlller candidate Wendy Greuel, Janice Hahn and Greig Smith.

Olds news, their enemies couldn't make these charges stick however much and loudly they lobbied to do so. Next.
But the people trying to dredge these up support a guy who defends USC jocks accused of rape, while lying about Weiss's record on DNA rape testing and DNA issues in general (easily refuted).
And who calls himself an environmental lawyer while defending polluters against environmental laws and cities, the opposite of Weiss; sues cities on behalf of the NRA when his job would require him to defend gun laws (partly written by Weiss with support from the Chief, Mayor and whole city council, even Zine), but who won't admit any of this.
Whose last experience with gangs was almost 30 years ago, so he exaggerates it dramatically and fudges the facts. Like he won't admit he's Rocky's lawyer and spokesman, so he can claim to be an "outsider."
In other words, he has nothing to run on so has been all about negative campaigning. People who meet him find him oafish, crude and without a sense of irony or humor beyond the barroom kind.
Even Amerian agrees on Nuch's negatives while he himself exaggerates his own record and so far has gotten a too-free pass in minimizing Weiss' years as a prosecutor, since he's got virtually no chance at winning.
That still doesn' mean these all-negative campaigns are even working and they'd be too easy to pick apart by the pros if even I can do it. But it's all they've got.
I like Noel Weiss. But he knows he doesn't have a chance and seems too easily influenced by Nuch.

laundered campaign contributions!!!! - the whole Porp. B fiasco is a laundred campaign fund operation - just ask Parke Skelton. Parke used the same strategy for Antonio both previous times he has run for mayor. In 2001 it was the anti-secession movement that laundered the money from Labor and into Parke's pocket. In 2005 it was that bogus health initiative that laundered money right into Parke's pockets. Check the records, check the campaign contributions check the consultants - Ace is right, this is old news and just the way things operate in Skeltontopia.
So, Nuch knows how to prosecute and he knows how to defend.
I see nothing wrong with that. The question is, did he win?
Even Amerian can see Trutanich is totally unqualified and his ads are a farce. No one pays attention to the Times anyway. But I've always gone with Noel Weiss as a nice guy, even if nice guys finish last.

The most unqualified candidate for City Attorney is Weiss... Noel Weiss!
The fact that anyone speaks up for this know-nothing is amazing...
He bilks innocent neighbors to file frivolous lawsuits so he can make another mortgage payment.
The simple reality is that Jack Weiss and others have not returned illegal campaign contributions as required in the charter. They also refused to return PUBLIC MATCHING FUNDS (our money) which were based on those illegal contributions.
There is no gray area here. No dredging necessary. It is a documented fact.
This is a disqualifier for Weiss. You can't swear to uphold the charter when you refuse to live by its requirements.
McCain=Bush 3rd term
Weiss=Rocky's 3rd term
Nuch = Rocky's lawyer and spokeshole, a-holes in common.
Vote Berger for a bulldog with major attitude. Noel Weiss as a nice guy leftie or Amerian. NOT NUCH.
