BEWARE THE WRATH OF THE LATINA VOTER
This last weekend, taking a break from my fellow " BLOGGIN DUMDUMS", I partaked in a leisurely stroll through our local foothills. Meaning to burn off some excess "LB's" and do some "BLOGGIN THINKIN", I was able to engage in dialog with members of a under appreciated class of voters, "PROFESSIONAL LATINAS".
First a note to all you "POLLOVILLARNISTAS", don't try emulating you "IDOL", the "POLITICO FORMERLY KNOWN AS ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA, tony villar". These women are truly angry at the falsehoods and empty words expoused by the likes of "MAYOR POLLOVILLAR".
With all the stories about our Mayor, (TOUGH TO TYPE THOSE WORDS AS SOMEONE WHO VOTED FOR THE TOTINO). There is a genuine "PUSH BACK" ready to take place. If you grew up in BOYLE HEIGHTS, one of the most respected women in politics is Congresswomen Lucille Roybal-Allard. She is a woman of grace and a role model for future Latina leaders. She has been a tireless advocate for her Congressional District.
If the stories of Mayor POLLOVILLAR get any more scandalous. then watch the wheels come off the "EL CAMINO" quickly. By the way, people are commenting on the "FAMILY PORTRAIT" being showcase by the "HUIZARS". Could it be that someone in CD 14 is wising up to the power of the LATINA VOTING BLOCK ???

Are people really so easy to manipulate? How can people be so easily taken in over and over? Can they really move forward day to day and never learn basics like, leopards really don't change their spots? Or, birds of a feather really do flock together? Do they never figure out that an excellent life motto to keep in mind is "screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me"? I guess the obvious answer is "YES". I never fail to be amazed...
I think you are so correct that Antonio has damaged his career much more than the political pundits think. Latina professionals are a different breed of women and Latinos in general are going to be more put off by Antonios chronic philandering than the general population. And the problem for Antonio is that a woman will tolerate being cheated on once. Twice, that's unforgivable. And women have long memories...
Shouldn't your title say "Beware the Wrath of the Latina Voter" instead of "Beware OF the Wrath OF the Latina Voter"?

The professional Latina "pushback" was starting to brew before the Villar/Salinas scandal broke. Lots of professional Latinas knew about Fabian/Mirthala/Telemundo and a lot more while it was happening, and were disgusted. Watch what's coming.
Who cares what a bunch of women tied down like slaves to the Catholic church think. Read Kennedy's piece in the LAT re: how hypocritical the church is re: divorce: after twelve years and two kids, her husband wanted to leave her sterile marriage for another woman, and she'd have agreed, except they wanted her to get an annulment: i.e., leave the kids as illegitimate bastards.
Because that's better than divorce.
Unless you married a non-Catholic, in which case the church never recognized the marriage anyway, so it doesn't matter.
WHO CARES, WHO CARES, WHO CARES.
Trust me Roybal Allard is NOT respected. She lost a lot of respect when she jumped ships campaigning for Antonio aftwer slamming him during the Pacheco campaign. Then she goes with Sleazy Huizy after telling people he had no experience and can't believe he would run. Then she endorses him. but most of all why she's not respected is she gives tons of money to HOMEBOY. Yup, she loves Father Gang Banger Boyle and she's been told his gang bangers are still active and she doesn't say a word. Add to that she's never ever in the community and only shows up to feel good events. She's no better then the Latino electeds
