Just Say No To Bitter Bernie
No way in hell I can support Bernard Parks but no one is running against him so who cares? Its four more bitter, bitter years.To be sure, Bernie is somewhat of a pro-business and pro-police vote on the Council. So that's at least some reward.
However Bernie is arrogrant, egotistical and authoritarian. And bitter.
Now why do I say no way on Bitter Bernie? Three good reasons:
- He seems to not like bloggers and he allegedly attempted to scare the crap out of the Fourth Floor Blogger. I guess I should be grateful because the demise of the Fourth Floor is directly responsible for the Sister City but that would be selfish.
- For no good reason he cancelled Full Disclosure from CityView 35.
- His email blasts come typed in all CAPS and are out of date.

Memo to Parks: behaving like a megalomaniac ensures a prominent position on the blogger radar.
My latest report goes up after the election chatter cools off.
On Channel 35 last night they allowed all candidates to speak. Bitter Bernie did nothing but slam LAPD. Gee, wish he would seek therapy for his vindictivness. Bernie hasn't done a thing for his district and parts of it still looks like Beriut after they burned it down. Yet all he cares about is bringing an NFL team to LA. Go figure, we don't have enough cops on the street and it seems to be ok with him that blacks are killing blacks every week and he says nothing.
What a relief none of you live in the Eighth District where he enjoys tremendous support. Hell, when is the last time any of you even ventured south of Wilshire? A bunch of FAT white guys are supposed to be experts on South LA? You don't know or care about South LA issues, so you should limit your talk to what you're good at: COMPLAINING. This blog has become so predictable. Oh, I forgot... cue up the guy who always erroneously reports how Bernie lost 1,000 cops.

7:48, I DO live in his district, and will not be voting for him. I wasn't inclined to support him to begin with, but my attempt to make a constituent complaint a year or two ago clinches it.
First, his web page at the time provided no means to clearly do so. Second, when I did email the staffer of his that appeared to be the proper person, I received absolutely no acknowledgment that it was even received, much less read.
I guess ten or twelve Sundays a year's worth of food service jobs (apparently to replace the "fast food" and auto service jobs he's claiming he will try to eliminate elsewhere in the district) and petty revenge on the LAPD are a far more important.

Great criteria for an endorsement: He doesn't like bloggers... he writes in ALL CAPS. What else was decided at the Hitler Youth meeting?
