LaBonge for Council
I know he's running unopposed but how boring the next four years would be without Tom LaBonge on the Council.Who knows LA better than the ever energetic Fourth District Councilman? Don't believe it? Tell him where you want to high school in LAUSD and he can tell you your team mascot. He knows where the bodies are buried, quite literally, such as where Issac Lankershim, the founder of North Hollywood is interned.
There's some things we don't agree with Mr. Los Angeles on (such as putting lights on a statue) but Tom is noted for excellent constituent service and communication.
So lets make it a great day in "Los Anneles" and give big Tom 100% of the vote.

Walter, if elected -- would you serve? I can be your paid spin doctor and say bad things about Jack Weiss on City TV 35...After all, there's no law against telling the truth. At least as long as Jackass Weiss isn't City Attorney. ZD SAYS, FROM NOW -- TILL THE END OF TIME --- WHEN YOU SEE THE NAME "JACK WEISS" ON A BALLOT --- VOTE FOR THE OTHER CANDIDATE.

The last word should be "interred." Interned is what happened to the civilian Japanese-Americans during WWII.

in fact, to go further, when I think of foreign dignitaries visiting this city, I'd like to think we could have LaBong be the one to greet and entertain them,....oh wait....we've got Mayor Antonio.

I make fun of it a lot, but he knows his peeps, so I do respect that. if you were the mayor of some city, who would you prefer to come here and kick it with?

Thank you so much but I will not be running for City Attorney. Nor will I be running for City Council. As for the Controller position, same story.
Obviously you haven't been a LaBonge consitutent for very long Mayor Sam. LaBonge is notorious for not listening to what the people in his district want. He wants to turn Griffith Park into Palm Springs West complete with manicured lawns and palm trees and trams to the top of the hills. He's ubiqitious but not very bright. How District 4 yearns for John Ferraro.
Why do people all of a sudden hate palm trees? My family came west because of them!
We love you guys, but please get the spelling of our favorite councilmember correct. It's Tom LaBonge.
