Here is a list of upcoming neighborhood council meetings:

Reseda Neighborhood Council, 7 p.m. Oct. 17 and a candidates' forum at 6 p.m. Oct. 24 at Canoas Banquet Hall, 18134, Reseda. Elections will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 at West Valley Community Church, 19000 Saticoy St., Reseda. Call (818) 756-7330 or see www.resedacouncil.org.

Neighborhood Council Valley Village will hold elections from 4 to 9 p.m. Oct. 19 and from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 20 in the auditorium at Colfax Elementary School, 11724 Addison St., Valley Village. A board meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at Colfax Elementary School, 11724 Addison St., Valley Village. Call (818) 766-2932.

Panorama City Neighborhood Council (forming), 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in the second-floor meeting room at the Mission Hills Community Hospital medical building, 14860 Roscoe Blvd., Panorama City. Call (818) 756-9422.

This is the reason there is no traffic today.

The Rugrats are at home. Had no clue what the heck was going on today. Great to see no traffic, maybe we should have parents homeschool the kids and Mayor can tackle one problem, traffic.
