Catching up with Mayor Hahn
According to the Last Sane Girl in LA, ex-Mayor Hahn was recently spotted attending the Green Day concert at Home Depot Center on Sunday Evening. Having attended the same concert on Saturday, I'm quite impressed by his taste in music.
If only he had shared his personality a bit sooner...

Most people don't know that he was in band when he was younger. That was the problem with Hahn. Most people didn't know enough about him. He had some great qualities that nobody ever heard about.
But we have gone from one extreme to the other now, haven't we?
Antonio Villaraigosa would have been there AND on stage, but he had to do the George Lopez show and then the Channel 9 news afterward.

So remind me again...what has the mayor done other than photo ops and make more promises???
Enquiring minds would like to know.

He's RESTORED our FAITH in a broken, over-budget, union-controlled, spineless city government.
That's BETTER than actually fixing things - that's making people THINK things are fixed (much cheaper).
For ACT II, he's going to hymoptize us all and make us think LAUSD is functioning well and worth throwing even MORE money at. (That's Jose Huizar in the skimpy costume next to AV, the "magician," -- holding his props).

Ain't that the truth. I wouldn't be surprised if the voters would have voted for the AntiChrist over Jim Hahn.
Oops, I forgot they already did!

Thank you for the clarification. I feel much better in knowing that all is well in the universe.
Go Mighty Midget!!!

every time the LAUSD goes over budget they seek another bond. This is getting ridiculous. They should concentrate on getting their budget under control rather than having multi-million dollar parking facilities.

I was at a dinner and those in attendance who voted for Antonio said they now realize AV was all talk. They can't believe he hasn't done ONE thing in 100 days. The grass isn't always greener and they wish Antonio would get humble and stop parading and embarrassing himself in front of cameras. Hahn had a track record and those Antonio supporters believe it or not said last night they voted for the wrong guy.

For a copy of the poll you can call the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor
Phone: 213-381-5611
Fax: 213-383-0772
It's a private poll so there are under no obligation to share it with the media or public.
But because it has their candidate in a favorable spot, i suspect they will share it with those relevant people.

You sorry a$$ Pacheco haters couldn't get over losing to AV for council. You go nuts every time he makes the headlines. You gotta' let that petty, petty jealously go and move on.
You spend so much wasted energy hatin' the guy - as if your little opinion is gonna' make a difference. Forget about it. Move on to issues if your really concerned about anything beyond power and stop being so pathetic.

I love Green Day. I love that fact that Jim Hahn was there. But I bet that he was probably there because one of his kids wanted to see them, not him.

Actually Jim Hahn, is a big music buff with a wide band of tastes. You could even see him in the 80's of course at a Run DMC concert.
