Since the Survey USA poll came out, there is a major drop in Hahnista ADV cutting & pasting and turd dropping around the Sister City. Even Sac Nighties has gone AWOL!What happened Kam? Did you finally move your folks off the computer and into the field? Back in my day, knocking on doors always did the trick. Just not sure if you have enough knockers or doors.

Is there an update on the recall?
Let me get this straight --
They had something like 75-100 folks protesting outside the Kerry event -- they've had 3 months to collect the signatures.
So let's do the math.
100 volunteers from CD 14 divided by 12,000 sigs (min) equals 120 signatures each volunteer needs to get.
90 days - to get 120 signatures each. Thats about 1.3 signatures a day.
I fully expect in 3 days for the recall people to submit enough signatures to get the recall on the ballot.
1.3 signatures a day is NOTHING, they should have easily obtained the correct number of signatures -- they should have well more than 12,000.
I can't wait to be proven wrong -- Eliseo i know you have enough signatures, i just want to congratulate you in front of everyone on this blog -- let me be the first on to tell you what a great job you did.

I remembr when this site use to get over 100 posts on one article in less then a day. Now that you've gone ape for AV and compromised yourself like a groupie of AV's what's the point in posting to the Anti-ADV> They just call reporters directly and tell them stories.
ADV and his people are once again acting arrogant, over confident as if they have it in the bag. Never Underestimate Hahn. You would think MEAT would have learned from 2001. Still no postings of those neighborhood watches.
There should be only public contribution for campaign funds. The max amount should be only $100. Yes, that is a low figure, but if the candidate is well liked and credible, there should be no problem with that amount. Why does a candidate need over a million dollars if they are being truthful. Ads cost money, but again, if the candidate is sincere and well liked, then they have no problem running with minimal amounts of money. Campaign staffers should work as volunteers not pre paid consultants. If this was the case, imagine how quickly Ace, Parke, and the gang would just flee overnight.
There is a story that is going to run this week, watch out for it. It will detail an interview from a Miami contributor who had her name put in the contribution list without her knowledge or consent. You see, ADV what are your people doing with the fundraising laundering in Miami?
The miami woman did not donate any money, it was donated and her name was put in the contribution list. That is what happened.
Villaraigosa won CD 14 because he boasted about his humble beginnings and how he overcame, but the residents did not know the true Villaraigosa involved with protecting street gangs, drug dealers, abuse, moral inept capabilities, unproductive, neglects his voters, and lies.
So now Pino says he is not interested in the Airport, we know better Pino (Villaraigosa fundraiser-Miami)
Report: Airport partners unduly earned $14.6 million-- MIAMI - Four partners of a venture that runs airport duty-free shops have earned more than $14.6 million despite having performed no work, according to a report by the Miami-Dade County inspector general.
The joint venture won a contract at Miami International Airport, and the four partners were brought in to satisfy a requirement for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program....
Under the program, these partners were picked: Sergio Pino, a major political fund-raiser and tract-home builder; Carole Ann Taylor, a former aide to ex-Commissioner Maurice Ferre; Jorge de Cardenas, a longtime lobbyist who later served time in federal prison for his involvement in a Miami kickback scandal; and Maria Argudin, an assistant city clerk in Miami.
I, too, congratulate Eliseo, the saviour of Hahn.
Think of it! A humble little operation in CD 14 goes out and gets enough signatures to recall a Mayoral candiate. What a great strategy!
Eliseo, you are singlehandidly saving Hahn's ass from defeat at the hands of a pathological liar.
Someone needs to begin the process for sainthood for Eliseo, for he aas averted the brown scourge from overtaking Los Angeles, and, working hand in hand with the right wingers of this city,has kept the Mayor's office a nice pure white, like the the virgin driven snow.
Eliseo is King! Let the canonization and beatification processes begin!

MEAT - those protestors were paid Hahn and union people. They're not working on the recall, but looking back, perhaps Hahn should have got more involved.
In regards to postings - just because the Hahn Cutting & Pasting Crew has slacked off doesn't mean our numbers are down. In fact, according to Adbrite, we're up from 1000 to 1400 hits a day. We just sold some more advertising soon, but nothing to write home about there.

Be prepared for a very interesting press release from Eliseo Villanueva on Friday - one day before the deadline at which the recall must submit over 12000 signatures to the city clerk.
Meat, we all know you are here to bury Eliseo, not to praise him.
Dream on to those of you who claim the protesters were paid. You just hate to face reality, that they are indeed authentic ADV protesters from all over town. Go to any street in Los Angeles and just ask people what they think of their councilman Villaraigosa. You will hear the repeated phrase, "He is no good, liar, and uses his ethnicity to get promoted."
Go to ADV's own district, and see how few lawn signs have his name on them. There are nearly as many Hahn signs, in TONY'S district.
The Hahn sign people HATE ADV, the Villaraigosa people are just following along out of habit. ADV's campaign's worst nightmare is showing him with a "insurmountable lead" weeks before... the sheep keep sleeping and won't even show up on May 17.
WHY bother, ADV's WON, right? I saw a POLL!!
MEAT mentions the recall more than anyone else -- I think he's secretly on it's payroll.
Lot's of free publicity (and no on likes a bully picking on poor grass roots activists).
NEVER met "Kam" never heard his name before visiting this blog. Some of us just want to warn to city what a louse and useless liar ADV is -- if he loses, we've done our (volunteer job), if he wins, you'll have this tickling in the back of your weak little non-creative blogger brains for months ahead, it'll keep whispering to you "someone told me ADV was an lying, hypocritical waste of space -- now WHO was that!?"

So what happens if ADV ends up facing a recall and also wins the vote May 17?
Any legislative trivia buffs can parse that one out?
Talked to someone volunteeing non-stop ar one of Hahn's phone banks, and they're making very good use of the latest news stories. They've gone from most people saying, "ah, who cares, they're all alike," to "oh, really... I better look into that."
How that translates into votes -- who knows. But it's not good news for ADV. His supporters kicking back and coasting because they're ingesting lousy runaway polls, while Hahn supporters and undecideds are reading REAL news accounts that make it look like they have even more to fear from ADV that they previously thought.
I smell UPSET!
What happened to the 19th threat (since the primary) or HIGH LEVEL INDICTMENTS???

The blog monitors on this site did not find the cutting and pasting amusing. It has opened a can of worms they preferred to have sealed. I can't wait to see ADV's face when the woman in Miami defends herself by naming names. This will be high ratings, literally.
You have selective memory, mayor sam -- all the pro-ADV posters went WAY AWOL when the dirty Miamiu money stories hit. It was like and Anti-Antonio ghost blog here.

Another volunteer ADV "hater" checking in -- sorry I'm late. I had to visit the other blogs to get real news feedback, since this one is embargoing anything new about smelly Tony's brewing scandals.
They have more "legs" than he typically does at this stage of the race.

Where are they? Are you sure your not counting neighborhood crack houeses established?

Those are the same teachers that help achieve the 50% drop out rate
in Los Angeles.
They really care about kids, that money could have been better served by giving back to the kids for teachers not doing their job.
They should give parents Vouchers so their kids can go to real schools not the lausd ones that are so unionized that there is no competitivenes. You liberals are so way off reality.

I am not a AV supporter or Hahn supporter. I am a voter who will sit this one out due to the lack of leadership options. BTW, are you that proud of an LAUSD system that promotes people based on race and achieves an over 50% drop out rate. A school system like this in a respectable country would have been closed down. Why would the teachers union support AV. I believe they know even thought Mr. ripoff Muruelo is his friend, he won't make any waves or major changes that is threatening to their jobs. The teachers are sedentary in their ways and do not like changes, this is why the kids lose out. No competition. Abolish the unions and there you have it---True Competition, that the kids will benefit from.
Well Sac Nighties you're the only Hahnista with the balls to at least give a name.
Today Roy Romer said the drop out rates have been like this for over 20 years, no different now.
So the LAUSD performs on a bankrupt mentality and shortchanges the students from a real education. They lack positive achievement and promote by association. Why would Los Angeles residents want to keep this type of socialistic school system in place. One that has proven Not to work. The small school initiative is not going to work if they keep the same teachers, same beaurocracy, and same teaching mentality. You need innovation, new staff, new pay, and new competition.
What makes ADV look really bad is he sits on the Education and Neighborhood Committee and hasn't done anything about education. He's been claiming that education is his top issue. go figure!
Education was not Villaraigosa's top issue, it became a top issue when Hahn started talking about it.
