Will Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa revert back to Villar surname in 2013?

This is only speculation, mixed with some good background sources, but based upon their information, it is possible that Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, will revert back to being called Antonio Villar, upon the completion of his second term as Mayor in 2013.
As the Los Angeles Times reported online Wednesday, the Mayor and his former wife Corina Raigosa have finalize there divorce. While the terms have not been made public, it seems that one of Corina's request, was for the Mayor to cease the use of her maiden name, as part of his last name.
It seems that the Mayor cited monetary concerns in not wanting to grant his now ex. wife Corina, an immediate response to her request, that being it would cost the taxpayers major money to change his name on numerous signs city wide. One can see it now, "this project brought to you by Mayor Antonio Villar".
In addition to the name change request, Corina was seeking an undisclosed amount of monetary compensation. How much money she requested and the source of, is not known.
While the details of the divorce are still outstanding, don't be surprise to see the current Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, revert back to simply Antonio Ramon Villar in 2013.

Red Spot gets two of the top 4 positions because he recently said that all of the corrections of his illiterate posts were a sign that people enjoyed his views. He should be embarrassed by his illiteracy. Instead, he thinks it's something to be proud of.

I heard he's going to change his name to Antonio Jennerjahn.
He's got a point that the city/ we shouldn't eat the cost of new stationary and anything with his name on it just to please Corinna.
But he should agree not to print new stuff with that name as long as it doesn't lead to official confusion.
Otherwise it was a dumb thing to do in the first place. Just like being forced to campaign with her when he wanted to divorce already.

This story goes to show how the media in Los Angeles is nothing more then another corrupt piece of shit. They should be reporting this big time. We should all be thanking Corina for saving the city millions not having to have the Failure of a Mayor change his name right now. Totally agree that NOTHING NEW should be done with Villaraigosa's name from this point forward.

Tony Vilar - how he used to pronounce his name when this pictue was taken, not with the y sound for ll - used Corinna and went as far as making a family for the sake of Parke Skelton's political brochures. He went out and change his name solely for political gain, not for the love of Corinna nor his commitment to family. Are his kids going to change their names too? Both their parents will not share their last names anymore.
His kid's names will serve as constant reminders of the extent political whores will go to to gain a few extra votes.

I believe there is zero truth to this story at all. Corina wouldn't want her kids to have different names than their dad. Adding Raigosa is part of both her life and his and I doubt she wants it removed from his name. This is a gossip-filled, rumormonging boring story.
