UPDATE/CORRECTION: In reviewing some of Joe B's posts about Meg Whitman I realize that I erroneously judged him to be posting a level of vitriol similar to that of posts made by Mulholland Terrace on Griffith Park Wayist. This was a mistake so I have corrected my post accordingly and offer my apologies to Joe B for my mistake and not well thought out comments.
Lots to consider as the race for California Governor pulls it into it's final month. Following a technically challenged Spanish language debate in Fresno one can easily find Jerry Brown agitprop on the web as well as those on the right who have a take that eMeg is actually doing well. Most interesting is that the always astute LatinoPoliticsBlog was not as impressed with Jerry while supporting him yet not at all showing the teeming hatred for Meg as seen in posts by Mulholland Terrace. As the kerfuffle over Meg Whitman's illegal alien former maid whimpers out barrister Gloria Allred takes a beating from fellow attorney Greta VanSusteren and explosive rumors come out alleging well heeled supporters of Jerry Brown have arranged for a cushy job for former Whitman maid Nicky.
Paul Krekorian teams up with the LAPD to rally the community to find the murderer of a Valley Village woman.
After a long hiatus the LAX blog is back.
It wouldn't have been thought possible but the possibility of a loss by Orange County Democrat Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez is looming. Sanchez has had troubles with questionable relationships, a lack of respect from Latino bloggers and insults she's made to the growing Vietnamese community in her District.
Good news for Miriam Fogler: City Council meetings are coming back to the San Fernando Valley.

Have you heard the interview Hugh Hewitt did with Allred? He confronted her with the fact that she did the same thing with Schwarzenegger in 2003 and that case was dismissed, and then when he asked Allred to deny that Erwin Chemerinski's legal opinion that Whitman had to fire the housekeeper, Allred refused to answer the question and hang up.

I am beginning to see the light about Phil Jennerjahn.
I confirmed something that a commenter pointed out over the weekend, that during the Recall City Hall effort, Phil DID claim to have raised "50 x what Ron Kaye raised for the Clean Sweep effort."
That is $200,000.
Why isn't anyone asking where that money is? I do NOT know if Phil has a gambling addiction, but he has written a lot about his poker exploits on various blogs.
Higby, Phil seems to respect you. Can you get a handle on where the money is, or whether Phil simply lied about how much was raised?
It looks like a lot of people have asked about this, but "noone" is getting to the bottom of this.
I'm sure will say that I'm mary cummins, but I don't have a clue on who that is, or why Phil is paranoid about her. Let's just get to the bottom of this. If Phil blew the money gambling, he needs to be reported to whoever handles such matters. Or if he lied about the amount, then his political "career" will mercifully be snuffed out.

This week he and Degé are spending funds mailing "Thank You" letters to those who participated in the Recall effort.
We had a ton of money PLEDGED for the Recall, but when Nuch slammed the door on the dispensaries, a lot of our potential funds disappeared with the owners, who decided to get out of town. 200K turned into a lot less.
