Team Villaraigosa's Terry McAuliffe Operation may have a problem.

" Terry McAuliffe shows support for an Convicted Rapist ??"
With Mayor Sam's brief mention of "Team Villar's" plans on helping former DNC Head Terry McAuliffe in his race for the Virginia Governorship. A flash back moment took place that McAuliffe wishes may disappear.
During those heady days when the likes of McAuliffe, Villar and others were awaiting the swearing in of Hillary Clinton as "BOTUS", money and more money was needed to sustain the big appetite of the Hillary 08 Machine, after all, Trujillo demands top dollar as the official driver.
It was during one of those fundraisers that this photo was taking in Beverly Hills as McAuiffe was being honor by the Indian-American Community and their chief "Hillraiser" Kevin Kaul.
During the festivities that were also attended by Mayor Villar and his youngest daughter, the sister of Fashion designer Anand Jon, who was facing multiple charges of rape with underage girls and models, put on a presentation where models showcase "We Support Anand Jon" shirts.
In a rare moment of political discipline for Mayor Villar, he shied away from the cameras and showed unease, maybe he had Corina on his mind at that moment ??
But McAuiffe was willing to take this photograph with the young child wearing one of the Anand Jon shirts.
Since then Anand Jon has been found guilty of 16 out of 23 counts of sexual abuse, including the forcible rape of seven women and girls, ages 14- to 21-years-old. He was scheduled to be sentenced on January 13, 2009. Because the case involved special circumstances against multiple victims, the penalty is a mandatory life sentence. Therefore, Jon will not be eligible for parole until the year 2075 (67 years).[3][4] As of April 1, 2009, he has not been sentenced in this case.[5],as noted from Anand Jon's Wikipedia Page .
In a conservative, southern state like Virginia, this might not go over too well with the voters.
But then this would be a fine test of the spin abilities of Team Villaraigosa.
Your thoughts..........

Shady Clinton Fundraiser Frontrunner For Governor

The prolific Democratic fundraiser who chaired Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and made a fortune with shady investments in a bankrupt company may become governor of the nation’s 12th most populous state.

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman and political money machine Terry McAuliffe is a party frontrunner for Virginia governor but as the primary election approaches this month, legitimate questions about his crooked past are surfacing.

McAuliffe was investigated for campaign-finance abuses during the 1996 presidential election and was deposed by the Senate committee probing the matter. In 2002 he was investigated for political profiteering for turning a $100,000 investment in telecommunications giant Global Crossings into an $18 million profit. The company later made the fourth-largest bankruptcy filing in history but the company's founder still donated $1 million to Bill Clinton's Presidential Library.

Since the Virginia governor’s race is focusing on jobs, McAuliffe is facing questions about the huge profits he made from a company that went under two years later, leaving 10,000 people unemployed while he padded his bank account.

Also, consumer activist Ralph Nader revealed recently that McAuliffe tried to bribe him in order to influence an election result. Nader, an independent who ran for president in 2000 and 2004, said that McAuliffe, then Democratic National Committee chair, offered him money to stop campaigning in 19 battleground states because it could represent an electoral threat to Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry.

Beginning with Jimmy Carter’s 1979 reelection campaign, McAuliffe has raised millions for Democrats over the years and he was responsible for Bill Clinton's 1996 reelection, according to the former president himself. Al Gore has called him "the greatest fundraiser in the history of the universe."

Governors in Virginia serve a single four-year term and can be reelected only after a break in service. The state’s last two governors, Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, have been Democrats.

McAuliffe vows to turn the state’s ailing economy around by drawing from his experience as a businessman.

Red Spot you gobbledygook mush mouth. I don't know what run around in circles cryptic nonsense you are so concerned with. Seems like some minor gotcha issue. But as I read the comment section, I see the 9 o clock Judicial Watch post told a much more compelling and effective story. Get out of the way jerk.

Sorry to burst your bubble but this won't even make one complete news cycle in VA. The link is very tenuous and if he had refused to take the picture, the story would be "McAuliffe refused to take a photo with a child because of a message on his shirt."

We would here the spin from the right defending free speech and other manufactured garbage similar to what we see today (like this story for example).

McAuliffe brings with him a machine like few others can assemble. Anyone who believes one photo with a child is going to hurt him is out to lunch.

Stick to LA boys, your gauging of the folks in VA is way off.
