Latest CD2 Candidate Rumor

One of the people in this photo MAY be running for CD2; to give you a hint the campaign would be of "paramount" importance to many.

However the tip comes from the same people who told me that H. David "E WASTEWATER PLURIBUS" (what the hell does that mean anyway?) Nahai was running. So I offer no warranties here.

If you know better - or you know more - call the Hotline or email me.

Sherry Lansing??

Does she live in CD2?

She certainly has the money to run.

Let me get this right. You are using phrases that you don't understand, and publishing rumors that you really have no handle on.

Is that it? It seems like business as usual, Mike.

If you are implying that Chris Essel may run, you might just be on to something.

She is extremely knowledgable and has served as chair of the CRA and is now on the Board of Airport Commissioners.

She recently left her longtime job at Paramount Pictures running development there, so she is certainly free to toss her hat in the ring.

Hell, if I lived in CD2 I'd vote for her.

If she runs, she will blow out the field.

Chris has lots of friends and all will be supportive. She knows the issues and the people.

Good scoop Higby. I guess your ward Saltsburg must have missed this one. What a surprise. If it isn't in the LA Times or the Daily news, he doesn't "discover it".

Jim -

You expect me to understand a Red Spot phrase?

Let's not worry about that. The truth is people want to know if YOU'RE running?

If so, let us know, Phil Jennerjahn and I can meet you at Pinks to give you some tips.

Cheers,
MS

Two reasons why Phil lost to Zuma Dogg by thousands of votes for next to last place:

1. He thinks Sherry Lansing lives in CD 2.

2. He has no idea how tags work on blogs or he can't even read them and put 1 and 1 together.

As Bugs Bunny would say, Phil Gendergone is a maroon.

Zuma dogg isn't what he used to be now that he lost. He is only about the money now, and is always begging for pay pal donations and has any body seen where the $50 in campaign donations he raised went to? Does any body believe he spent it on any thing besides gas and grass? He must have smoked the campaign litrally.

Yea, something you don't Phil.
She also has a brain.

You can go back to listening to your Helen Ready and Anne Murray! records.

Jim assisted S-T in the fight against Home Depot, but he will tell you that he is not the reason HD lost. HD lost because they were called out on all of their underhanded tactics, misleading intentions, and manipulation of City code. You can thank the No 2 Home Depot campaign for that.

A certain GM (not Nahai) is also being sought out in a grassroots movement. He has an awful lot of management experience having come up through the ranks (worker bee) AND managing one of the largest budgetary Bureaus in the City.

He has the respect and confidence of his employees AND the knowledge needed to ACTUALLY be a GREAT leader and Councilmember.

You are out of your mind! Speak for yourself. He is NOT the reason Home Depot lost. That is the biggest laugh ever. Did you write this Alger?

CRA is bad news to anyone above Glenoaks in District 2. CRA's continue to suck the money out of our city.

Support Bill Robertson to run. He's the one who can blow everyone else out of the water!

Woo-hoo! Professor Pot Hole!!!!! That is the best news I've ever seen on this site...you mean that Bill Robertson would really consider running!!!!!!! He is awesome.....the first GM who has ever been responsive to constituents and not beholding to anyone but THE RIGHT THING!

Do the RIGHT THING - I'm joining the draft Bill Robertson for CD2!

AMAZING.....you've made my Day!

Nice Try said..."Zuma dogg isn't what he used to be now that he lost."

[ZD: I think I have just had the best streak of consecutive public comments since the election wrapped up. Someone saw me in chambers last week and said, "Welcome back." What is that idiot talking about. I haven't missed a meeting since the election, including the day after the election and every day since.

And I've been hitting them with the stuff everyone else is giving them a pass with.

And after the whole election cycle and all the media appearances, it feels like 10 times the awareness out there. IT WAS FANTASTIC AND THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. And unlike some of the other candidates like Walter Moore whose entire identity is wrapped up in being a "candidate" and someone who "ran for Mayor" -- for me, it was just an extension of my activism. I ran for mayor to help my activism, not the other way around...and there IS a difference. And anyone who disputes that can tell me so in council chambers as I haven't missed a meeting since the election.]

He is only about the money now, and is always begging for pay pal donations [go back and check my blog for the past year (it's about a year old...and I think you will see the donation pleas pretty consistently throughout. So it is merely spin on your part to make it sound like things have changed.]

"And has any body seen where the $50 in campaign donations he raised went to?' [Those were not "campaign contributions", you know that, so I won't pretend like you need an explantaion.]

Does any body believe he spent it on any thing besides gas and grass? He must have smoked the campaign litrally. [It went to more than gas and grass, but yes, it went to keeping me moving from point A to point B and when you have burnt rubber the way I have this past year and during the campaign; come back and tell me how much it cost and how much you spent. YOU COULDN'T DO WHAT I JUST DID THIS PAST YEAR FOR ONE WEEK. YOU PROBABLY COULDN'T DO IT FOR ONE DAY. COME SEE ME IN A YEAR YOU INFERIOR MINDED BODY!

You didn't score one point here, and you couldn't achieve what I just did physically, either. Plus, YOU are talking about ME, because I am the leader/doer and YOU are a coward heart who does NOTHING without financial reward.

So it gives me great personal satisfaction as I look back and reflect on my actions over the past year, as people like you analyzed the trail I left behind.

AND, I am going to pay you back with MY spin on you, loser. You think I don't know who this is, but when your name starts popping up, you'll understand why! And you cannot talk your way out of this sh*t. So save the email or phone call. And you KNOW I always pay back disproportionatley. THIS IS GONNA HURT...YOU more than it does ME. You will wish we were back to the time before you decided to take on the leadership role you decided to take on. (Spinning me!)

THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN!

Zuma, no one wants to do what you do every day, know why?

Because it is a huge waste of time and energy.

Some of us do it for pay when we need to, but for free? Never!

You are a confirmed fool who calls others "idiot".

Go look in the mirror, if you can stand it.

Zuma,

On 1-15-09, you said "You are slightly kooky if you think any other challengers are going to get more votes than ZD. Sorry they just aren't"

If your measly 3% was the "best time of my life" that's really pitiful and yeah it is time to take a good look in the mirror.

I CAN'T BELIEVE ANYONE WITH A BRAIN WOULD CONSIDER NAHAI FOR ANYTHING THAT INVOLVES LEADERSHIP. WE COULD HAVE A GREAT ENERGY FUTURE BUT YOU CAN'T CLOSE YOU DOOR TO A VARIETY OF KNOWLEGEABLE EDUCATED PEOPLE IN THESE FIELDS WHO COULD PROVIDE REAL SOLUTIONS TO WATER , WASTE MANAGEMENT AND ENERGY GENERATION WHICH WOULD BE AFFORDABLE AND NOT BURDEN TAXPAYERS FOR YEARS. THIS ISN'T A DREAM IT'S REAL AND POSSIBLE. THE FACT THAT "NAHAI" TOOK A "PAY INCREASE" AT A TIME WHEN TEACHERS ARE GIVEN PICK SLIPS DEMINSTRATES MY POINT.
