Oh boy! We get rumors! Is this one true? Who's it about?
We understand that City provided BlackBerrys are great for booty calls.
A certain Valley director for the Mayor has been secretly seeing a performer that is known for causing a clash of cultures. She's been using her City-issued handheld and e-mail to set up meetings with him. Is she giving him inside material on the Mayor and the City to use in his next play? Is he getting preferential treatment and opportunities through the City because of the connection? Why are they keeping it secret?

There are rumors and then there are rumors. Posting a blind email inferring someone of doing something unethical, immoral or illegal -- with absolutely no checking -- is the bottom of the barrel. There is not a respected site in the world that posts that kind of shit. and there is not a respected authority who would defend it. Even if attracts more traffic, it's self defeating in that destroys what little credibility the site has. it also reinforces the widely held belief that higby and his cohorts are dilettantes pretending to be reporters and pundits. People have come here in the past and dealt with the silliness because there was really no alternative. Kaye and Mailender have corrected that.
