Zuma Dogg Wonders: Is Antonio To Endorse CM Parks for County Supervisor Instead of (soon to be former) Ally Senator Mark Ridley-Thomas?

Now that Zuma Dogg has added LA County Board of Supervisors to his public meeting chamber crawl see story, it is time to dive right in and provide some "fly on the wall", "tea leaf reading" speculation that may have some City Hall insiders wondering if their phones are tapped, as opposed to their favorite public comment gadfly's.

IS LA MAYOR ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA TO ENDORSE LA CITY COUNICLMEMBER BERNARD PARKS FOR LA COUNTY SUPERVISOR INSTEAD OF FORMER ALLY MARK RIDLEY-THOMAS?

ZD wasn't following politics then, but heard that when Antonio ran for mayor, Senator Mark Ridley-Thomas endorsed him. (A decision I'm sure he regrets along with the rest of Los Angeles.) So you would expect if Mark Ridley-Thomas were to run for Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, that Villargarcia would return the favor by endorsing Ridley-Thomas.

Not if your Councilbuddy Bernard Parks is running!?!? Radio talk show hosts...copy and paste this thread now for when I call in to talk about this in a few months.

I know it's early, but the bottom line that I am trying to get across here, is that one of ZD's rock-solid sources is saying the Villargarcia endorsement of Parks is a "done deal"; and that Ridley-Thomas is going to run, too. [Along with discussion of Senator Kevin Murray and others.]

Just like Tony told both Weiss and Hertzberg he would back each of them for City Attorney, he has probably promised this to Ridley-Thomas, Parks, Waters, Wesson, Murray, and Karen Bass.

When Congresswoman Maxine Waters endorses someone, bet the farm in that candidate.

Yvonne will follow.

If it is Herb Wesson, expect everyone except Mark to withdraw.

Same for Bernard.

It won't be Mark that she is endorsing, be sure of that.

This is antonio.

I'm going to endorse Bernie. No, my good pal Herb. No, Mark. Maybe I'll wait to see who Maxine is endorsing.
Hey, what about zuma dogg? No, wait, Zev looks to him for advice and education on how to run the city, and since Zev and I had that blowup over the MTA, I'd better do the opposite.

Yeah, right. The news before it happens.

Is zuma this stoopid or does he think we are this stoopid?

Why not Bill Burke for Supervisor? He is a successful businessman, heads up the AQMD, and has forged strong relationships with Speaker Nunez, Perata, the mayor and the other county supervisors. He can continue the course set by Yvonne.
