If you check the LA County website you can see the hundreds, if not thousands, of services provided by the County that people can take advantage of. So please let people know, "If you are doing business in LA County or have a question about any County services, just call 2-1-1. One free call, all county services." What kind of fool can post that he is reporting the "News before it happens" and not realize that the only options are that he's seeing into the future what hasn't happened, or making it up? The average second grader could see how nonsensical that is.

I don't agree with Zuma on a lot of things but I am baffled by the emotional, knee jerk reactions to him. Either you agree with him or you don't. Either you like his style or you don't. He's not the anti-Christ!
Its almost like the irrational opposition to home depot, abortion rights or palm trees. It makes no sense. Its just that people think a = b therefore I am opposed to a no matter what the facts/circumstances are. I see the same thing in people who want to oppose McMansions, global warming or the lunatic fringe elements of the anti-illegal immigration movement. There is very little critical thought process involved here. Just knee jerk. Same thing people who think we need to impeach Bush. No thought to it - just emotion and hatred.
What happened to our country? People used to have intelligent debates.

By the way some people have wondered about traffic here on the blog and whether this, that or the other has any impact. The answer is apparently no. Google Analytics shows more or less consistency over the last few months up one day a little down one day a little.
Sam, you are exactly summing up why the attacks on the mayor have lost any semblance of relevance. And if you can justify "news before it happens" as "logical," well, that does about say it all right there. It really just sruck me as funny, I couldn't care less what this clown says and am baffled anyone could get worked up over it. Geeze. Wonder why no one is posting except the same anti-Mayor stuff? Many newspapers, television stations, radio stations have used the term "The news before it happens!"
It means that you're getting the news fresh, raw from the scene not the next day in the paper.
I'm with MS, this anti-ZD stuff has turned irrational.

Seriously, if someone can't tell that I am having fun with the "news before it happens" line, like a takeoff on MTV News, "you hear it first" -- or one of those slogan liners is really way too uptight over zuma dogg.
When I say, "news before it happens", I mean like when I post a subprime loan prediction story three months before it happens.
Bro, I have posted so many stories before it is covered elsewhere because I do get it fresh off the agenda like 2:32pm mentions.

It's exactly that sort of boast, claiming to scoop the real media because you get stuff "fresh off the agenda," that makes your whole news before it happens boast funny... but you'd have to be reasonably bright to have a sense of the absurd.

Many of us work hard and long and to see zuma dog at a city council meeting playing the fool I feel my tax dollars are being wasted. Or the video of him disrupting the library or any of his other attention seeking stunts. The dog lives out of his van and begs for $$, it's not his tax dollars being wasted.

Am I playing a fool? Are you watching my comments from the past few months? Are you just trying to perpetuate year old propoganda? What is it you could possibly be complaining about? Please post the comments or the video from the past...let's say three months. Especially last couple months.
I really don't know how I could make better use of the time or try and say anything more substantive.
I'm sorry if you don't feel comfortable with me speaking out on non-profit abuse at city hall, or affordable housing scams, or some of these other items I have been focusing on. And I'm sorry if you don't think I should be saying anything at all, or showing up at all. And I'm sorry that you feel I should let the other side have a free and clear ride. And I'm sorry that you are such a fear-based, insecure, cry-baby, spineless, non-leadership dna possesing, let zuma dogg ruin your whole entire life loser.
It is pretty a pretty good feeling being so warmly embraced by so many people in the city for what they feel is such a worthy effort. I can see why you are so bitter that your deep seeded emotional dysfunction will prevent you from ever experiencing what the rest of us do who show up to meetings.
