Mayor Sam's Hot Sheet for Wednesday

The DWP is in big trouble. A court says they overcharged MTA nearly $40 million. All told with the MTA's share shady billing of the County, School District and other government agencies amounts to $200 million. And Walter Moore reports that the judge in the case, Superior Court Judge John P. Wade has issued a ruling effectively blocking the Clowncil from taxing you through the DWP.

This might interest Zuma Dogg. Westside White Guy reports that Frank Gehry may be leaving the Grand Avenue design team.

CurbedLA reports that Councilman Eric Garcetti's favorite little bus - The Holly Trolley - will take its last loop around Hollywood on June 17th.

The Daily News slams the Clowncil for passing resolutions on issues that have nothing to do with the City such as apologizing for slavery or calling for changes to the state's three strikes law. Some of these resolutions are well-meaning but most are partisan and political, a place the Clowncil really should not be going.

And finally, check out this post by Zuma Dogg with a video featuring bizarre behaivor by our favorite Neighborhood Councilman, Bradley. Odd.

How many times has it been posted here what an embarrassement these clowncil members are to this city? They aren't respected, they do nothing and waste tax payer dollars now this. Isn't it Laura Chick N Shit's job to watch over our money? Again, she's coming out but not taking responsibility as controller. And Greuesome hasn't said a word yet she wants to run for controller. What a bunch of morons representing us!!!!!

Dougt it and so does a lot of the residents in this city. Never before in the history of LA has council members been so highly criticized in the papers and many blogs. They dont' get the respect because they haven't earned it. They talk about some dumb ass move one of them makes but doesn't have the guts to tell them to their face. Sad reality our city gov't.

"The DWP is in big trouble."

So let me get this straight... The DWP is mandated to hand over a big chunk of money every year to the City. This is factored into the cost of doing business. And the DWP is the bad guy?

Typical LA Times spin.

Hate LA Slimes. Worst reporters in the nation. I'd rather read the National Enquirer compared to their rag. Too bad us tax payers don't have one person speaking on our behalf and outraged that DWP has over charged not pennies but MILLIIIIOOONNNNSSS
