The incompetents in city hall and Sacramento just keep rotating. That's why this city will keep deteriorating and finally just go down in flames!
Wendy talking about ethics and her wanting to run for controller, is like Don Imus wanting to run for sensitivity trainer.
Do they wonder why only 8% of the people come out and vote, or are they secretly thrilled that they have reduced democratic participation to this level?
I would be surprised if Pugliese made a deal. First, he's a pretty ethical guy; Secondly, he already was on board with concepts behind AB 1381 in the primary. Finally, he's just not a political animal -- his fundraising came from personal loans.
Of the three, he was the strongest at communicating workable reforms based on his deep experience in education.
If Galatzan has her eye on Wendy's seat in two years, then she is even more naive than even I had believed. Education "reforms" in a district of 708,000 students simply don't happen overnight, nor would there be any reliable tracking after 24 months. It took Whole Language and Bilingual Ed (both "Fad Education" movements supported on record by Villaraigosa and Aguilar) more than a few years and tens of thousands of students lost or left in the wilderness to show that someone or some board had seriously miscalculated.
Math you might be right about Pugliese I have no idea.
Don't think for a second POLLORAIGOSA and Tamar the GOVERNMENT ATTORNEY give one blip about "actual" reform.
Its all part of the plan.
Zuma normally I would tell you "fuck you in the eye socket", but tonight all I am going to say is that this may very well be the deal between the mayor and wendy and tamar, but I can promise you, tamar will not win in CD 2.
Too much dirt on her and there will be a surprise candidate in CD 2 that no one will ever suspect.
Its going to be an interesting two years :)

Is that because of the toxic landfill deal for Sunland-Tujunga that is quietly in process.
Wendy Greusome is in bed with developers and some say Antonio. She is his biggest groupie and is an embarrassement as a woman. She wants to get rid of fraud then she should start in clowncil first. She has so much baggage never will she win. People in the valley don't like her and her alignment with the midget, cholo mayor will hurt her. The fact that Antonio has supported the illegals and this city looks like a 3rd world country because of them has distanced a lot of people who use to support him. Wendy needs to dye her hair dark cause the blonde jokes are true when it comes to her.
Wendy gets a "free ride" to run for controller. She was just reelected this year to CD2, which means next election for this seat is not until 2011. If she wins for controller in 2009, then there would be a special election to fill her council seat. Otherwise, she can run for reelection in 2011....
Whoever amde the crack about Wendy and the Mayor clearly does not know that she is very happily married and has a young child.
Meanwhile, the Mayor is making a lot great progress that, of course, gets ignored by the know-nothing blogger here.
How about mentioning the great choice of the new director of LAWA?
That is a big time win for LA, but of course, it doesn't even hit the radar on this low frequency yellow sheet.

Actions speak louder then words and Wendy's actions as everyone inside and outside city hall will tell you are embarrassing for a married woman. She uses her little boy to get close to kiss butt to Antonio like the letter she had him write and gave to AV.
The mayor has made progress??? You got to be kidding??? Doing what? He's a "do nothing" mayor who has failed everything he has gone after. He's put this city in numerous liable cases including the living wage ordinance that his girlfriend Maria Elena lobbied for and planted trees. That's it. He'll never reach his goal of hiring more cops now that he's made stupid remarks and rushing to judgment. You think cops are going to be aggressive going after gang bangers like he wants? NOT!! He has shown this city all he cares about are the illegals who are here breaking the law. Look at how many illegal vendors are out in force around LA not paying taxes and getting a free ride. When he stated "I don't care if you have papers" that had to be the most irresponsible comment an elected official could make. Break the law its ok with me he basically what he said. He's the clown of the city with all his photo ops.
