NOBAMA!! Outtakes on the policies, antics, and followers of "THE ONE"

A Friday Buffet on all things, policies, people and actions related to "THE ONE" known as the "Presumptive Teleprompter President", Barack "H" Obama.

***Poker playing friend of Obama raided By FBI***
The FBI on Wednesday raided the county offices of a former Illinois state senator who is a poker-playing buddy of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama.

According to Chicago authorities, the FBI visited the offices in Joliet, Ill., of Will County executive Larry Walsh, a longtime friend of Mr. Obama’s, and his chief of staff Matt Ryan.

Will County auditor Steve Weber confirmed that his office had been asked by the FBI to assist in an investigation, but he did not elaborate on the specifics.

From Nikki Finke at the LA Weekly

One of Barack Obama's staunchest supporters and prized campaigners and film biographers from the motion picture and television business has just been accused of union busting, according to a complaint filed Thursday with the National Labor Relations Board. Before the exposé, writer/actor/director/producer/author/playwright Tyler Perry invited the presidential candidate to the grand opening of his entertainment studio on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, this coming Saturday night. But if Obama attends he will be met by picket lines thrown up by the Writers Guild of America with support from other unions including the Teamsters, even though the latter union has officially endorsed the Democrat. "This is just the first step. We've got a lot more planned," a WGA insider told me last night, indicating that the Perry picketing may widen to Time Warner's TBS which broadcasts his hugely popular House Of Payne sitcom, and an upcoming TV spinoff of one of Perry's movie's Meet The Browns.

........and what education may become if "THE ONE" becomes President, glad Antonio hasn't come up with this idea for his re-election campaign.

Barack Hussein Obama-Joseph Robinette Biden in 2008

About 7:00 AM PST tomorrow, odds are likely that Delaware Senior Senator Joe Biden will be announced as Barack Obama's running mate.

With Virginia Governor Tim Kaine and Evan Bayh of Indiana being dropped from consideration this evening, ABC News was reporting stepped-up activity at the Biden household and close associates of Biden are quoted as saying that Delaware's longest-serving Senator will be the choice.

Biden, who has been known to provide sound-bites in the bunches, even if the words belong to a former "British Labor Party Official" will bring an extensive foreign policy portfolio to a campaign in need of someone with Biden's background, especially with recent events overseas.

The selection of Biden is remarkable considering that his own 2008 campaign imploded after the Senator made these comments about Obama, this flashback from the New York Observer;

"COULD this be remembered as the first presidential campaign to start and all but end in a day?

Senator Joseph Biden of Delaware, who announced his candidacy with the hope he could ride his foreign policy expertise into contention for the Democratic nomination, instead spent the day struggling to explain his description of Senator Barack Obama, who is running for president, as "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy".

The remark, published on Wednesday in The New York Observer, left Senator Biden's campaign struggling to survive its first hours and injected race more directly into the presidential contest.

The day ended, appropriately enough for the way politics is practised now, with Senator Biden explaining himself to Jon Stewart on Comedy Central's The Daily Show.
In a decidedly non-presidential afternoon conference call with reporters that had been intended to announce his candidacy, Senator Biden, speaking over loud echoes and a blaring television set, said that he had been "quoted accurately".

If Biden is the V.P. selection, then one can say that forgiveness is a virtue for Obama,....especially if you have Foreign Policy background.

NOBAMA!! A scorecord from Saddleback Church

No teleprompter will cause these types of moments.

From Hugh Hewitt at Townhall.com

The consensus on yesterday's forum at Saddleback Valley Community Church is that Senator McCain had an exceptional night, that Rick Warren pulled off a very difficult job, and that Senator Obama was smooth as usual except for his "above my pay grade" gaffe,

*** Warren comments on Obama's "above my pay grade" gaffe,

"No. I think he needed to be more specific on that. I happen to disagree with Barack on that. Like I said, he's a friend. But to me, I would not want to die and get before God one day and go, 'Oh, sorry, I didn't take the time to figure out' because if I was wrong then it had severe implications to my leadership if I had the ability to do something about it. He should either say, 'No scientifically, I do not believe it's a human being until X' or whatever it is or to say, 'Yes, I believe it is a human being at X point,' whether it's conception or anything else. But to just say 'I don't know' on the most divisive issue in America is not a clear enough answer for me.

which is one of those phrases that will stick and hurt.

Obama also had on display yesterday a very troubling slipperiness that is increasingly defining him.

The senator has tried, somewhat successfully for the time being, to slip away from his associations with Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. He has also managed to slip into a "reformer" shtick that has zero connection to his hyper-partisan voting record.

But yesterday he tried to slip past at least two issues on which such obfuscation shouldn't work --same sex marriage and Senate ethics reform.

My point here is not to argue the policy positions Obama takes, but to point out his firm denial of his real positions on both issues. He flat out distorted his positions, and did so without even an arched eye-brow from the MSM.The transcripts of the interviews are here. (HT: Red County).

But what is more telling about Obama's performance at Saddleback is the response by the usual suspects in the Main Stream Media. This is highlighted by the McCain's Campaign's complaint against NBC's Andrea Mitchell.

In this case, the campaign is objecting to a statement by NBC's Andrea Mitchell on "Meet the Press" questioning whether McCain might have gotten a heads-up on some of the questions that were asked of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who was the first candidate to be interviewed Saturday night by Pastor Rick Warren at a presidential forum on faith.

Warren told the audience that McCain was being held in "a cone of silence" so he wouldn't hear the questions, which were similar for both candidates.

Warren referred again to "the cone of silence" when McCain came onstage, and the senator joked: "I was trying to hear through the wall."Mitchell reported that some "Obama people" were suggesting "that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama. He seemed so well prepared."

Warren adamantly denied these charges just a few minutes ago on the Sean Hannity Radio Show.

***The Drudge Report is flashing that Obama will announce his V.P. tomorrow in the A.M.***

NOBAMA!! Kerry for Vice-President??

Did Antonio recommend this to the "Presumptive Teleprompter President"??
Don't dismiss the notion just yet.
Some political insiders are telling WBZ it could happen.
So why would Obama reach out to Kerry as his choice?
Kerry brings more money and name recognition to the table than any other name on the Obama list so far. Americans do tend to love a comeback kid and this would be the most amazing political comeback since Richard Nixon came back from the dead forty years ago.
First reaction is to say no flippant way!!
But then these two have many things in common, caustic, opinionated wifes, inflated self-importance, far left liberal credentials and the ability to flip-flop on the issues.
Obama, like Kerry is the subject of a book by Swift Boat author Jerome Corsi, which will open number one on the New York Times Bestsellers List this Sunday.
And maybe like Kerry, Obama's reaction in being the latest to be "Swift-Boated" will raise more questions about Obama's fitness to be President??

NOBAMA!! "The Mad Magazine Cover"

The "over and unders" on when the first Obamanista cries racism is "very soon".
One Final Roll Call:
WASHINGTON -- Hillary Rodham Clinton's name will be placed into nomination at the Democratic National Convention later this month, ending months of speculation about how her candidacy -- and supporters -- would be represented there.
"I am convinced that honoring Sen. Clinton's historic campaign in this way will help us celebrate this defining moment in our history and bring the party together in a strong, united fashion," Barack Obama said in a statement issued jointly by their two press offices.
The announcement ended months of speculation about the convention role for Clinton, who ran a spirited and competitive primary challenge to Obama. She had wanted a roll call vote at the convention as a way to acknowledge her historic achievement as the first female candidate to come close to winning her party's nomination for the presidency.

NOBAMA!! "Bloggin moderation by Big Government??

This should unite the "bloggin community" whether you lean "Blue" or "Red".

From the "Drudge Report".

There’s a huge concern among conservative talk radio hosts that reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine would all-but destroy the industry due to equal time constraints. But speech limits might not stop at radio. They could even be extended to include the Internet and “government dictating content policy.”

FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell raised that as a possibility after talking with bloggers at the
Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. McDowell spoke about a recent FCC vote to bar Comcast from engaging in certain Internet practices – expanding the federal agency’s oversight of Internet networks.

The commissioner, a
2006 President Bush appointee, told the Business & Media Institute the Fairness Doctrine could be intertwined with the net neutrality battle. The result might end with the government regulating content on the Web, he warned. McDowell, who was against reprimanding Comcast, said the net neutrality effort could win the support of “a few isolated conservatives” who may not fully realize the long-term effects of government regulation.

So to state this in "Bloggin Layman Terms", any post by Zuma Dogg would have to give way to an equally timed retort by one, "Dockweiler Mutt", "Mayor Sam" would give equal time to "Westside White Guy", "Joe B." would have to share his bloggin privilege with "Home Depot" (See the Horror!!, Joe B.) and our bloggin right to free posting would fall under the moderation of some Washington "DUM DUM" bureaucrat.

Wonder if Trujillo was promise this job in a Obama Administration.................

NOBAMA!!, Nyet!!, if you are Vladimir Putin.

This today's from the Los Angeles Times token Conservative columnist Jonah Goldberg on the "Presumptive Teleprompter President".

"The Obama campaign has for months pursued the odd strategy of having the junior senator from Illinois act as if he were already kinda-sorta president of the United States. In June, it tried sticking a quasi-presidential seal on his lectern. Then in July, he conducted what seemed like official state visits with foreign leaders and delivered something like a "prenaugural" address in Berlin, inviting comparisons to JFK and Reagan."
Now with Putin reverting back to his old Soviet KGB roots by unleashing an savage assault on a democratic nation, what sort of "Its 3:00 AM" response of leadership do we get from the "Presumptive Teleprompter President"?
"First, late Thursday evening, he gave a conventional written statement calling for calm, U.N. action and "restraint" from both sides -- followed an hour later by a slightly stronger condemnation of Russian aggression and a call for a cease-fire."
Did Jimmy Carter write this on the teleprompter for Obama in the hopes that Putin would call for a "bug out" from Georgian Territory??
Being the "Presumptive Teleprompter President", one can create daily acts of symbolism that plays well to the Tim Ruttens in the MSM and Obamanistas across the collectivist landscape.
But the cause of freedom and standing up for infant democracies such as Georgia is best not left to someone who's "main act of political substance" was organizing the collective neighborhoods of Chicago under the Daley/ACORN banner.
and this retrospective from Goldberg column.
This moment calls for more than playacting, yet Obama looks lost without a presidential script. Events in the Caucasus -- and, for that matter, in Beijing -- suggest that the times aren't so new after all. Two powerful antidemocratic foes are once again flexing their muscles at a moment when America seems weak and distracted. That is not a new challenge but a very old one.
Perhaps this is not a time for a novice spouting grand rhetoric about a new page in history, but for someone who's actually read the pages of some old, but still relevant, books. Perhaps this is not the time for playacting.
Perhaps it is not the time for body surfing?

"NOBAMA" in Metro, East by Northeast Los Angeles??

One was viewing the latest chatter from the "progressive cybernistas" at
NortheastLA@yahoogroups.com, pondering what became of the "Obama for President" office, on the corner of Colorado and Figueroa in Northeast Los Angeles.

For Edward, Paula, and Carlos, instead of waiting for the likes of the Northeast Democrats (remember that maybe, Bill and Hillary, err, Carol Jacques are still invested in a Hillary resurrection in Denver??) or the 45th Central Committee to take action, lets bring some pro-active, progressive locations to the collective table on where to place an Obama for President Office in the metro, east by northeast area.

American Apparel in Downtown Los Angeles:
What a great location to both legalize/register new voters, then have Dov Charney preach the virtues of Obama's Immigration Platform (in his American Apparel buthuggers of course).

Antigua Coffee House of Cypress Park:
Great idea to bring new progressive, collectivist coffee drinkers and thinkers into Antigua's new location. One could create the "Collective Vision of Barack Coffee Chat Series", or the "Barack, A Citizen of the World" put to song in Reegae or Folk style.

Academia Semillas del Pueblo Charter School:
Barack would love all in his collective community to learn Spanish. Lets add Mandarin and Nahuatl to Barack's vision of communicating in a collectivist world. Plus, it would be a benefit to learn the "ins and outs" of counting perspective voters in "groups of twenty".

Southwest Museum:
Hmm What?? Can you not find a better place for Barack to showcase his unique ability in bring people together? If Barack can get those fueding progessives to "cut the bread" and thus settle the Southwest Museum Controversy, then he is truly the "Messiah".

Dino's Burgers in Lincoln Heights:
Great clearing house to hand out "Obama 2008" lit. by the now homeless (more on that in a later post), "Action Slate" of the Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Council. One can see Erika Gallo being the on-site director.

.......and lastly, any Worksource Center:
Why? One can view jobs avaliable now and prep yourself in the procedure of filing for "unemployment benefits", once an protential Obama Administration goes "Jimmy Carter" to the National Economy.

NOBAMA!! "A Seven Year Old with Foreign Policy Insight"

Link below to this classroom encounter between Michelle Obama and and a Second Grader with foreign policy background, which is on a higher level than the "Presumptive Teleprompter President".

posted at 7:18 pm on August 7, 2008 by Allahpundit Send to a Friend printer-friendly
I’ll say this much for the Obamas: No one has more interesting political conversations with second-graders than they do. Something for everyone here — for the righties, some easy snark that the correct way to proceed in Iraq is obvious even to grade-school kids; for the lefties, some even easier snark that it takes someone with the mindset of a grade-school kid to think this is the correct way to proceed; and for the nonpolitical among us, a warm and fuzzy moment at the end. A good time was had by all.

Update: A commenter reminds me that the Obama camp is uniquely well positioned to engage seven-year-olds on foreign policy. (Average mind set of most Obama supporters??)

NOBAMA!! "Voight ignites a blogstorm in Hollywood"

What is it like to be a "Republican Supporter in Hollywood"??

Consider the reaction to "Father in Law of Brad", Jon Voight Op-ed in the Washington Times where he takes to task the "PRESUMPTIVE TELEPROMPTER PRESIDENT" and states his support for John McCain.

The political blogsosphere, of course, went ballistic. Then Jeffrey Wells, who runs the movie and pop culture site Hollywood-Elsewhere.com, took Voight to task for his right turn and wrote that, if he were a studio executive, he might think twice before hiring Voight for any future film work. “[Voight is] obviously entitled to say and write whatever he wants,” wrote Wells. “But it's only natural that industry-based Obama supporters will henceforth regard him askance. Honestly? If I were a producer and I had to make a casting decision about hiring Voight or some older actor who hadn't pissed me off with an idiotic Washington Times op-ed piece, I might very well say to myself, ‘Voight? Let him eat cake.'"

Nice to see that all is well in the "Thespian Collective Stronghold of Hollywood" where one is induced to keeping his political beliefs quite, especially if one believes in Free Markets, Ronald Reagan and the "Right to life".

After all, the "Thespian Left" has for years lived a double life by harping on the Blacklistings of the "Golden Era of Tinseltown" in the fifties, while silently subjecting the likes of Tom Selleck, Pat Sajat, Bo Derek and others to a virtual form of blacklisting.

Even the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger who plays a certain "Gov. Kennedy Republican" is not exempt from the treatment that Voight is currently receiving from the "Thespian Left", even as he bombs out as the "Last Populist Hero in Sacramento"

Consider this when gauging the shallow thought process of the "Thespian Left in Hollywood".

Rob "Meathead" Reiner and many others were the major contributors to Mayor Antonio Villaraogosa's recent "TROLL FOR DOUGH A-THON". Now the "Thespian Left" is circling their collective wagons to support another empty suit of symbolism prop up with telepromptive sound bites that passes for substance in the myopic world of the "Thespian Left".

And as for responses on Well's "Blacklisting Comments",

The controversy continued this week, as Drudge Report contributor and news site owner Andrew Breitbart inked his own Washington Times opinion piece about the brouhaha. Breitbart is also getting into the “poliwood” game with plans to launch a new group blog called BigHollywood, as part of his Breitbart.com news service, to appeal to the opposite end of the spectrum from Wells’ musings.

“The site will offer a daily repository for those interested and involved in the perspective of a growing community of Hollywood conservatives, Republicans and libertarians,” Breitbart told me via instant message over the weekend, calling his upcoming project “a safe haven for those out of the lefty mainstream.”

That will be easier said than done in the "Thespian Collective of Hollywood".......

NOBAMA!!, A Daily Dialog on the "Presumptive Teleprompter President"

Welcome to a new feature of the "Liberal Blog" known as Mayor Sam.

NOBAMA!!, A Daily Dialog on the "Presumptive Teleprompter President" is dedicated to electing a true "liberal" as the next President of the United States.

This today from Yahoo News, it is obvious that "Obama Fatigue" is quickly growing among Americans.

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama may be the fresh face in this year's presidential election, but nearly half say they're already tired of hearing about him (sound like a certain Mayor), a poll says.

With Election Day still three months away, 48 percent said they're hearing too much about the Democratic candidate, according to a poll released Wednesday by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center. Just 26 percent said the same about his Republican rival, John McCain.
Obama, the 47-year-old Illinois senator who would become the first black president, has dominated political news coverage much of the year. According to an ongoing Pew study, Obama has appeared in more news stories this year and more people say they have heard more about him than McCain, the longtime Arizona senator who also ran for president in 2000.
Two-thirds of Republicans and about half of independents said they've heard too much about Obama, as did a third of Democrats, a significant number.(One can't help but to draw a comparison to Villar's daily dosage of photo ops)
At the same time, nearly four in 10 said they've been hearing too little about McCain (Thanks to the likes of the "Old Gray Hag on Spring Street" and other members of the MSM) — about four times the number who said so about Obama. About half of Republicans, four in 10 independents and even a quarter of Democrats said they've not heard enough about the GOP candidate.
The poll was conducted from Aug. 1-4 and involved telephone interviews with 1,004 adults. It had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

****Paris Hilton as a "Third Party Candidate"?? We know she is the life of the party, but this video give her view on "drilling".
