NOBAMA!!, A Daily Dialog on the "Presumptive Teleprompter President"
Welcome to a new feature of the "Liberal Blog" known as Mayor Sam.
NOBAMA!!, A Daily Dialog on the "Presumptive Teleprompter President" is dedicated to electing a true "liberal" as the next President of the United States.
This today from Yahoo News, it is obvious that "Obama Fatigue" is quickly growing among Americans.
WASHINGTON - Barack Obama may be the fresh face in this year's presidential election, but nearly half say they're already tired of hearing about him (sound like a certain Mayor), a poll says.
With Election Day still three months away, 48 percent said they're hearing too much about the Democratic candidate, according to a poll released Wednesday by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center. Just 26 percent said the same about his Republican rival, John McCain.

Obama, the 47-year-old Illinois senator who would become the first black president, has dominated political news coverage much of the year. According to an ongoing Pew study, Obama has appeared in more news stories this year and more people say they have heard more about him than McCain, the longtime Arizona senator who also ran for president in 2000.
Two-thirds of Republicans and about half of independents said they've heard too much about Obama, as did a third of Democrats, a significant number.(One can't help but to draw a comparison to Villar's daily dosage of photo ops)
At the same time, nearly four in 10 said they've been hearing too little about McCain (Thanks to the likes of the "Old Gray Hag on Spring Street" and other members of the MSM) — about four times the number who said so about Obama. About half of Republicans, four in 10 independents and even a quarter of Democrats said they've not heard enough about the GOP candidate.
The poll was conducted from Aug. 1-4 and involved telephone interviews with 1,004 adults. It had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

Ah hell, Red Spot. You're such a disappointment.
When you said there was a link to a video about "drilling" and Paris Hilton, I was just sure it was going to take me to her sex tape.
Dude, that's false advertising. Everyone and his brother has posted her fake campaign ad today.

This thread sounds wacky to me.
If you want a "real liberal" as president, and Obama isn't liberal enough, it seems that your only other choice isn't a good one.
Any race for the presidency is a race for the middle. That's why "real liberals" and "real conservatives" like Goldwater, McCarthy, and McGovern got their drawers knocked off.
Could it be that people are hearing more about Obama than McCain because there he's more interesting? I think that because of the length of the campaign, people are tired of hearing about both of them.
Do you think it would be a good stategy for Obama to reduce the amount of publicity he's getting, which would be a news story itself, or that McCain should think of ways of attracting more media attention?

McCain's wife was called a hottie who should be in a topless contest by one of those rightwing old fat KABC hosts this morning. The guy who follows rabble-rousing ignoramus McIntyre. Said McCain should announce that his wife will NOT be entering the contest just to get attention, while making it clear that he's not letting her become "just another celeb." So crazy it might work.

When will she just give it up and accept she wasn't nominated?

Polls show that over half of voters are already sick of Obamania, with months to go -- either McCain's message is sinking in, or they're realizing on their own that he's saying nothing but promising everything. Which he can't deliver without raising trillions in taxes -- he's even realizing he can't pull out of Iraq cold turkey like he'd promised in the primaries. As both candidates move closer to center to win, he's copying most of Hillary's positions, proving her right that was the more electable. She didn't "lose," the Dems lost it for her. Starting with negating Florida. IF she jumps in again, it sure won't be dull.

I'm prety sure that ZD and Hillary must be related.
Neither one seems to know when they are not wanted and it is time to go away.

It was McCain himself who make the joke about his wife being in those contests when he spoke to the bikers and racists at the Sturgis event.

Oh I agree first 3:46. Most interesting it would be. Many people are starting to realize she was the right candidate to beat McCain and you're right. She didn't lose. The stupid brain-dead democratic party lost it for her. They're the sheep. They should have all known damn well, she was the only on who could win.
This would be a very dramatic turn of events.

Believing that the Dem party lost the nomination for Hillary still puzzles me.
She steadily lost popular support among the voters while Ombama gained. She represented the old guard, the Beltway insiders. There was little to get excited about.
