Former Councilman Huizar Campaign Manager Michael Trujillo still on Campaign Payroll

Disgrace former CD 14 City Councilman Jose Huizar Campaign Manager Michael Trujillo, who was terminated for authoring the controversial "bullet to forehead email", is still being paid by the Huizar Campaign according to the latest Ethics Commission expenditures report.

Further, after being fired on Monday, February 7, Trujillo has received the following payment listed below.

03/01/11 Michael Trujillo Los Angeles, CA 90017 Jose Huizar Council Member - District 14 1325226 - HUIZAR FOR COUNCIL 2011 E - Payment (CNS - Campaign Consultant) [Period: 02/20/11-03/02/11] $3,250.00 [Election: 03/08/11]
Trujillo, prior to this latest payment, received the following amount for work before his termination..
01/28/11 Michael Trujillo Los Angeles, CA 90017 Jose Huizar Council Member - District 14 1325226 - HUIZAR FOR COUNCIL 2011 E - Payment (OFC - Office Expenses) [Period: 01/23/11-02/19/11] $1,286.56 [Election: 03/08/11]
The fact that Trujillo is still on Councilman Huizar's is bound to reignite the controversy over Trujillo's comments that included statements such as "(Rudy is a disgusting human being that needs to be sent back from the vile bag of tripe he emanated from." and "We are going to unleash the dogs of Satan on Rudy and he is going to wish he never heard the words 'team huizar".
With Trujillo continuing to profit from his vile attack on Martinez, on top of Team Huizar's latest negative mailer, highlights the desperate straits that Team Huizar finds themselves as election day approaches, not to mention reopening old wounds..
Your thoughts..............

That's a GREAT mailer for Huizar.

Rudy's cooked.

(Oh, and BTW, just because you get a CHECK from a campaign on a certain date, don't mean you're still working for them. It just means that's when they CUT the CHECK!)

Get a grip.

Practice - for another four years

COUNCILMEMBER HUIZAR!

(similarly, "failed restauranteur and one-time City Council candidate Rudy Martinez, who's assets are now in CHAPETR 11).

Reed Spit, are you actually arrogant and deluded enough to think you will ever be the fIRST person to discover something SCANDALOUS that's in the public record like this?

REALLY?

Ahhhh, Scott. Was that ACTUALLY you putting down $200 of your OWN money for RUDY RICH, to help him raise another $10,000 (to Huizar's $26K in the same period).

So TOUCHING.

Did you NOTE, Red Spot, that pretty much EVERY OTHER DOLLAR that came into Rudy in this period is from OUTSIDE CD14 and MOST is from OUTSIDE LOS ANGELES.

But since there's hardly any time left, all those NEW contributions mean is that Rudy will probably get to keep a few thousand dollars of his $200K "loan" and use OTHER people's money for the last few days.

Nah, Rudy Rich isn't going to be beholden to any "special interests" in LOS ANGELES. He's gonna be OWNED by special interests from where he REALLY lives.

Glendale and Burbank -- because, HELL, he Knows a LOT more people North of Colorado Blvd. than he EVER will in THIS district.

Rudy's still having all his printing done outside th City of L.A.

Thanks for helping to stimulate the "local economy" carpetbagger Rudy... the "local" being Monterey Park.

Rudy's also paying back the L.A. Times for his endorsement, pretty well...

Dumped about $15K into Times-related advertising just in the last couple weeks, even more before that.

Well, I guess that deserve it. His ONLY media endorsement.

Why is it negative to ask a 4X CONVICTED criminal to EXPLAIN them?

I was at a candidate forum where Rudy INVITED it.

He said "ask me anything" (about my convictions). But then, when David Z. from the Times did, he said... "Um, um, I can't remember... I'll GET back to you."

He CAN'T REMEMBER what a criminal conviction was for?

(NAHHHH, what he meant was, I CAN'T REMEMBER the lie my handlers told me to use to SPIN it?)

I think it was "I was helping a little old lady cross the street (using my STOLEN police badge), and it took too long so they ARRESTED my for loitering.

Hooooo, ha

It's OVER Rudy.

Go home, Glendale Republican, the Middle-Aged GOP Club there is looking for a NEW president.

Yeah, that only make sense in Rid Spurt "logic". Huizar's got a few thousand dollars sitting around to make sure he re-elected, so he RE-hires the guy who proved to be the biggest embarrassement of his campaign.

Yeeh, no. Not really. Keep trying RS, maybe YOU can save this for Rudy, with only about 72 HOURS left.

NAH, we KNOW which flyer is REALLY bothering you, Scott.

It's the one that says "EL SERENO IS UNITED for Jose Huizar" - you know the one shows ALL the stuff he's done* and the DOZENS of recognizable community leaders supporting him there.

Got to be making you CRAZY.

================================
Here are just a few examples:
• For over 30 years El Sereno had been promised a bridge on Valley Blvd. to prevent freight trains from snarling traffic in our community. José Huizar made
it happen!
• For over 25 years, El Sereno residents have been fighting to preserve open space at Elephant Hill. José Huizar secured the funding to buy the property as
open space and parkland.
• For over 35 years, there had be no firework show in El Sereno. Jose Huizar brought back our traditional 4th of July Firework show.
• For decades, El Sereno residents had asked for the parking lot between El Sereno Park and Farmdale
Elementary be paved. José Huizar made it happen and now there are less kids with incidence of asthma
because there is less dust.
• José Huizar successfully worked to complete the 100-acre Ascot Hills Nature Park.
• José Huizar helped bring a new Farmers Market to El Sereno.
• José Huizar secured over a million dollars for improvements on Huntington Dr., including the new welcome sign on Maycrest.
• Huizar worked to put more police officers on patrol and has helped reduce crime by over 30% in our
community.

=============

Funny how THAT one wasn't mentioned here...

The Martinez mailer that REALLY ticks me off is also just coming out.

NOW, months and months after he's started running, babbling through every community forum with NO plan.

His VERY last mailer to hit people's mailboxes, suddenly says...

"I HAVE A PLAN..." ??

OH, did I forget to mention...

I DO have a "plan". I just decided, after losing avery Eastside media endorsement because they all said "HE HAS NO PLAN" - all of a sudden. RUDY has a plan.

That's like the captain of the TITANIC coming up with a PLAN how NOT to sink, AFTER they hit the iceberg.

Hoooo, ha!

Yeah, that's TRAMPSparent.

March 04, 2011 7:41 PM

By looking at the specs of the mailer on the outside edge, it appears to be a file sent to a 4/C printer and dated 2.4.11. No doubt a takeaway piece that would support Trujillo's strategy of exposing Martinez. I can see with the decisions made by TeamHuizar, it may have been produced, but not mailed.

This ugly campaign makes papers and blogs like this site look bad by latching on to Trujillo for juicy hit-happy scandal.

This is where Mayor Sam looks as desperate as either one of these campaigns.

I'd be willing to bet Turd-jillo was just being paid off his contract, just to keep things from getting messy.

But seriously, if he IS working for Huizar again - he's not the campaign manager anymore. And contrary to the always very faulty logic posted by the spotted one, that suggests just the OPPOSITE of Huizar's team being desperate.

It would mean they KNOW the election is already won, and there's nothing anyone - including media and Martinez - can do to stop the juggernaut.

(That's "IF" he's working for the campaign again - I'd bet he isn't)

If you post FIVE anti-Huizar threads EVERY day until the election, you can STILL save Rudy's chances. All 50 of the regular readers here, will RUSH to the polls and VOTE for Rudy M.

(Then click your heels twice, and have Martinez say "THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME IN GLENDALE!")

And ALL the bad dreams will be over.

Can't answer your question until you explain what a "SUPPOTER" is.

Sorry.

Maybe try another language?

On the OTHER hand, Huizar has "suppoRters" because he's doing a better job serving the district than anyone has in the last 12-15 years (since before Alattore got bought off by corrupt influences).

THAT's why.

Yeah, I think we know you are. YOU want to be someone's political operative, you want to RUN a campaign, you want to DIG up dirty on the opposition, and have someone actually PAY you for it.

Sorry.

Not in this world. Not in anyone lifetime who's now living.

My god, it is going to be SO MUCH FUN to watch Scott realize that he spent all this time, making hundreds of posts, only to see Jose win again.

Scott is incredibly jealous that a kid from the barrio went to an Ivy League school and is getting $180,000 + perks galore + power, influence and media attention, while Scott has to mow lawns for the Parks Department.

Lying didn't work against Mike Gatto, and it isn't working against Jose Huizar.

And mind you, I HATE Jose Huizar, so the great consolation prize will be Scott looking like a moron. And it'll be all the more fun when Scott seeks his next target. He won't be able to live this down.

SAD, pathetic, immature. These postings show the true lack of character of the Team Huizar people. Its shows how they can't accept constituents want and need a change so they attack like bull dogs. No other race has been so heated and mean. Everyone reading this posts can see how horribly constituents who have an opposing view are verbally assaulted. This is the type of group Team Huizar has. Mean, immature, juvenile, crybabies. They refuse to believe and allow people to exercise their 1sst ammendment right to speak out. This is why the grass roots group of LA Clean Sweep is supporting and working hard for Rudy Martinez. I find it odd the immature Team Huizar are not posting about that group. They don't live in CD14 but can clearly see the Councilman has been a Failure. Thank you Mr. Red Spot for your hard work informing many with your posts. There are a lot of people citywide who appreciate it. My Council person is not running by my heart goes out to the CD14 constituents who want a change.

I would pay more attention to what Scott posts, if he didn't earn a reputation for posting FALSE information about people, like his FALSE information about Mike Gatto, and then never being apologetic about it. All he did was retract.

That says to me that he was forced to retract it, but he wasn't sorry for posting false information.

But my prevailing thought about Scott is that he is motivated by jealousy. I have never met Scott, but his posts come across as coming from someone who wishes he had the good fortune of someone like Huizar who was able to break away from his first generation poverty, and actually get somewhere in life. I'm no Huizar fan, believe me. But if I saw a child behaving as Scott does, I would say that it is motivated by jealousy, and that is evidenced by his willingness to post FALSE information, and not actually apolgize for it. It appears he's taking the same approach with the Huizar story as he did with the Gatto story.

Also, Scott is amused by the comment count, even though on most days, it's to point out his horrendous English skills, rather than a discussion about points he wants to make. Since his credibility is significantly tarnished, it's tough to believe what he writes.

I guess my next point of interest will be IF Rudy wins, whether Scott would expect some kind of job for him.

That's what Zuma Dogg expected from Trutanich, and as soon as he found out that he was not qualified to work in Tru's office, he went on the attack.

I will paraphrase Scott when he says "Some might want Scott to re-evaluate his dis-integrity."

Correction - lying did work for Gatto and Huizar - that is why they are in office. And they will continueto lie - as Hiuzar has proven - to squash any competition, in prime Skelton fashion.

I have to agree.

Scott is a middle-aged man who, instead of building credibility, acts like a child.

If he's not embarrassed by his horrendous English skills, he's not embarrassed by people thinking he's immature.
