If they're stupid, they're stupid because of Biden.
It is also relevant because it shows that Obama had terrible judgement in picking Biden. The obvious winning pick would have been Clinton. Clinton would have chosen Obama because she knows how to close a deal. And you wouldn't know the name Sarah Palin.

Remember that it's only about increasing the number of hits on the blog. It's like those rightwing hatemongers with talk radio shows.
So understand that when you complain that the person with posting rights is off topic or isn't posting things about L.A. politics, you're helping them reach their goal of getting more hits.
As long as Palin is a hot topic, why wouldn't you keep posting about her, even if you didn't believe what you were posting, just to create hits?
The rule in politics is "follow the money." In blogging, it's "follow the hits."
I appreciate Haikula's honesty. That alone sets her apart from most politicians.

The purpose of this blog is to discuss whatever is interesting to readers.
The goal is to have as many readers as possible.
Imagine - if someone comes here to read about Obama and also sees that their Mayor is a piece of crap, WOW, we might have done something.
By the way, yes traffic is good these days.
Oh - by the way - if you go back to the archives you can clearly see that everytime we get into a state or national election cycle we have discussed that.
People want to talk about it. Again, you don't have to read the articles you don't want to. More importantly, you can go play on the freeway.
We (my posting partner and I) post here for OUR own amusement. Nothing more, nothing less. If you are entertained, informed or annoyed, then all the better.
We mention the vistor count because we're being brats.
With respect to complaints, our policy is as follows: If your complaint annoys or offends US, we will absolutely, positively do more of the same.
Complain about haikus, and you'll get more haikus. (We may still post haikus for my own amusement).
Complain about videos, and you'll get more videos.
Why? Because we know it's resonating. Or because we (my posting partner) and we feel like being brats.

This was never a place for people who want to change anything. If things were better we'd be unhappy because we enjoy complaining and having another drink.
All you have to do is RAISE the boot so you could read the instructions. You don't flip it over.
As the man said, this is too complicated for some.
It's all about hits and income from it.
