Democrat Says Palin's Primary Qualification Is She's Never Had An Abortion

Will Rogers once said, "I don't belong to an organized political party, I'm a Democrat."

Continuing to show their profound ability to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory the Democrats and the Obama campaign have allowed Sarah Palin make them become completely unhinged.  Here's the latest wig-out from a Dummycrat:

Politico's Jonathan Martin reports that South Carolina Democratic chairwoman Carol Fowler told a Politico reporter today that Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., had chosen a running mate" whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn't had an abortion."

Palin is an ardent opponent of abortion rights and earlier this year gave birth to her fifth child, Trig, who has Down Syndrome.

South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Katon Dawson today called Fowler’s statement "offensive, outrageous and -- most importantly –- dead wrong. Gov. Sarah Palin is a strong pro-life, pro-family, reform-minded conservative with meaningful experience, whose message has resonated in South Carolina. Fowler's statement is born out of desperation from a campaign that is sputtering across the South. Carol Fowler should immediately apologize. Her remarks are unbecoming of a party leader and demonstrate poor judgment."

Boy, Michael you're really trying aren't you. Might as well because her background is really come out now.

Now I know why you make fun of Huizar all the time on this blog. Didn't I read in today's paper about a 16 yr. killed yesterday in his district but he's talking about food again. Are these people really as stupid as they look?
Los Angeles -- Large chain restaurants in the city of Los Angeles would have to provide nutritional information on printed menus and menu boards under a plan unanimously approved today by the Los Angeles City Council.

City Councilman Jose Huizar, who authored the motion, said the city will only enact a local ordinance if Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger does not sign SB 1420. The governor has said he will not sign any new bills until the Legislature agrees on a state budget

It seems to me that one comment by one blogger who is a Democrat doesn't represent the higherarchy of the party. Same for Republican bloggers.

You can read about a killing every day in the districts of Huizar, Reyes, Perry and Parks.

I am glad the Mayor is doing such a good job keeping Los Angeles safe, I have not read about car bombings yet.

Michael H:
This is my Request that you put up a thread soon about the things wrong with Huizar's approach to dealing with ("fill-in the blank").

It would really be good to fully vent on an appropriate thread now since Council is back in session and Jose is back to making nanny-goverment motions and bottom-of-the-totem pole "quality of life" proposals while real measures for citizen life-protection remain mirages on the horizon of CD-14.

In Eagle Rock.

This is really great. The economy is in the tank and Paulson just raised the national debt liability by $5 trillion. (with the democrats help of course)
And all Palin has to do is smile and let her eyes twinkle though those cute glasses and the democrats go berzerko drooling spit and mumbling pig lipstick.
this has made an otherwise dull election into a media circus.

Michael your girl really showed that she is nothing more then a spokes person for McCain. Her speech last night in Fairbanks Alaska was nothing more then a groupie fan touting how great McCain is. Nothing about what SHE invisions for a better America. I'm sure the Republicans aren't happy that she stated "McCain never ran with "that" Washington Herd. So let's see you want us to VOte Republican so they can get in office and clean up the MESS the REPUBLICANS have made in all these years? Yeah right!!!!

THANK YOU BILL ROSENDAHL FOR STANDING UP TO THE CLOWNS AND HAVING THE LEADERSHIP TO OPPOSE THIS BULLSHIT.

...The Los Angeles City Council on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to sell signage rights for the L.A. Convention Center to the owner of Staples Center, a move that could allow dozens of billboards and video displays to sprout on a public facility along one of the city's busiest freeway interchanges. The agreement grants the exclusive signage rights to Anschutz Entertainment Group, known as AEG, the company that is overseeing the adjacent $2.5-billion LA Live development. In exchange, AEG will pay the city at least $2 million a year over the next decade and also share a portion of the net advertising profits from the signs.

Council members said they were largely swayed by the stream of cash that the deal will deliver to the city at a time when the economic downturn has forced budget cuts and fee increases.

Critics, however, argued that the additional signs would create a visual blight on the downtown skyline and add to the proliferation of billboards in the city, and also questioned whether the city could have struck a more lucrative financial deal.

Rosendahl also expressed concern that AEG already has benefited from a "sweetheart deal" with the city that granted the company $27 million in tax breaks to build LA Live.

"I don't think it's a great business deal for the city at all," Rosendahl said. "I think it's a great business deal for this private vendor."

About that billboard deal: As the City Attorney advised council, the deal was made 12 years ago as part of the building project -- council doesn't have the right to change the terms or give the signage to another firm, or they'd be sued. The deal sucks but it was made 12 years ago.

Apparently what they can do when the matter comes up for discussion is get the scale of the billboards whittled down -- the architect who designed the building is quoted in Daily News as thinking there would be too many billboards that would ruin his original design.

Bottom line for Janice Hahn and Ed Reyes, Jan Perry and that group was that it was money toward "poor areas" that the "wealthier districts" can't understand, like Reyes said and Perry said before. Always playing the class and division card to get their way.

One speaker noted that Janice Hahn's area near the Watts tower looks horrible, so she wouldn't be one to care about aesthetics. IF that horrible-haired woman spent a fraction of the time cleaning up her district as she does rambling on about taxing homeowners in other districts to get gang program money in her hands, her district would be clean.
