Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Thursday
We haven't heard from our Marxist friends at Academia Semillas del Pueblo lately but Zuma Dogg has. Supporters of the controversial charter school are calling for parents to not enroll their students in any LAUSD school. Why you may ask? Well the folks behind Academia want to branch out and bring their nonsense to their own high school. However the LAUSD has yet to approve the charter for Anahuacalmecac International University Preparatory Academy of North America and lets hope they don't.
Things could be looking up for LA/Palmdale Airport. United Airlines says its will double its flights from two to four a day from the Antelope Valley based facility owned by Los Angeles World Airports. Civic leaders - starting with the old, dead Republican Mayor himself - have been working to develop Palmdale as a regional alternative to Bob Hope and LAX Airports.
A conservative Catholic blogger takes Mayor Villaraigosa, also a Catholic, to task for volunteering to officiate at gay weddings and for being pro-choice, in opposition to church teachings. Somehow I don't anticipate the Mayor will be excommunicated.
There's a water shortage and the City is sending out inspectors to fine you for wasting water. Still one contributing writer to the LA Times expects that most people won't take action to save water.

HA HA! Stupid Marcos is back. Didn't Doug McIntyre have the goods on him? Hopefully Sandy Wells sues them for everything they got for the attack on him.

"Somehow I don't anticipate the Mayor will be excommunicated."
He was excommunicated when he didnt confess and atone for violating his vows. He can not receive the sacraments for as long as he violates his vows to his wife.
Catholics dont condone adultry. Old maxim "Marry in haste, reapent at leasure".

He can not receive or attend to the sacraments, nor, if he were to die he could not have burial services in a catholic church or put to rest in a catholic cemetery.
He can not officiate at catholic weddings (hetrosexual).
Even the Cardinal can't help him in this case unless he can convince someone (the Papal Sea) that his original wedding was "flawed" which would allow them to annull the marriage.

To the degree that excommunication involves not being served communion, I wouldn't be sure. Riordan was not given communion when he got married outside the Church a dozen or so years back, and it was this same Cardinal's judgment.
Catholics dont condone adultry.
Many Catholics condone the Kennedys.

That's a bit of a stretch, don't you think, that Zuma Dogg - the election cheat - has "heard" from Academia Semillas, unless you mean third-hand, through an angry El Sereno snitch!

I think if you look into the history, 8:17, "Borg" McIntyre of All Assimilation Radio claimed to have "goods" on the school's founders and teased with it for weeks, but then NEVER quite delivered.
Then, when the school sued the station's parent company, he suddenly stopped talking about Academia so much and got REAL interested in other local affairs instead. The school's suit failed, but it wasn't like "Borg" then stepped back up again to take them on.
Go ahead and revere McIntyre if you like, but when push comes to shove, he's a pretty gutless whiner for anyone to be idolizing.
Talk is cheap, and his kind of talk radio is penny-ante BS.

McIntyre did have the goods on Marcos shady land deal but the Disney lawyers wouldn't let him broadcast it. remember Disney is in tight with the Mayor and local electeds. Its public record for anyone who looks it up.

Although "achievement tests" are perfect in measuring students, my casual browsing of the API scores on the web showed ACADEMIA nearly to down the 500's while comparison nearby elementary level schools were above them, with the 600's range, and lots above the 700 level. Still all those are not reaching 800, the range considered as "proficient" of the ranges for API scores from 200 to 1000. I don't know what year was used or if adjustment of any kind were made to any of those numbers, I was looking to a general picture.
The main objection I have is that the school uses public money to run a program. I see from their statements and curriculum, it renounces this country and clings to everything of cultures outside, no matter how remote or relevant to present needs of society. If culture or religion is taught, like with Hebrew school, Catholic school, and Japanese school, for examples, this is done in addition to regular school, not as a replacement.
One thing that I don't seem much in actions by their organization is "tolerance." Any criticism of the school/people/performance will risk a call of "racism" and is attacked as if that was the sole reason for the criticism which therefore must be meritless. Maybe that's what people considered the founder's motivations to be after hearing many of his past recorded statements about the ideas he had.
I sense a defiant attitude and smugness of the operators and the ones who will be most bearing the cost will be the children. Let's hope they fare well.

It is unfortunate that the representatives/staff (administrators) of Academia have such disregard for the very agency that allows them to exist. Attacking L.A.U.S.D. with demands and providing ultimatums for a response shows a level of dishonesty, corruption, malice, and has a negative impact on the youth/students.
My parents taught me that if you want something you need to earn it, strong arming does not work, unless you are clowning around and are playing 'UNCLE'. I recently read a document regarding this incident and it is full of hatred.
If they wish to refuse enrolment in the public sector and withdraw their students from any public education, so be it, send them to private school. Try Cathedral, Mission, Ramona, Bosco Tech, or (L.A.U.S.D. Windsor Elementary Aerospace Magnet) many other options available. What is not an option is demanding that the public accept this entity, and provide public funds for education that enhances the ideas of terrorism and values against United States citizens.
I have been attacked by individuals from this school for invalidated circumstances. I hold our countries values in high regard, and provide an unbiased position for offering emergency information to the pubic; all those in the West Region of LA-32 Neighborhood Council are of interest to me. It is disturbing to mention, that at a public meeting, held by a city entity on site at this school, that the residents of the area were declined to attend and even refused to allow community members to be involved in a public forum.
I will be seeking the opinion of the residents (not only parents of Academia) in the community to see if it is in the best interest to have this school continue in the fashion of treating others with intentional abuse. Please consider to be more wholesome and offer kindness to those you are in contact with.
The last thing I would like to mention is that I am pleased to see that Academia embraces America and what our country stands for in two (2) clear forms of acceptance. (1) They have included the symbol of American values directly by placing the name of our country into the name of the proposed school.
(2) The school also has accepted the kindness of the land and our people by selecting the United States of America over all and any other country on the planet to do business and provide for a select amount of students in the Los Angeles area.

Two things:
1. Anthony Manzano finally located the Caps Lock on his keyboard. What an improvement!
2. Zuma swallowed the Academia Semillas "indigenous" bullshit hook, line and sinker. Shame!

i broke the news about the shady land deal with the Raza school. I did a title check and the property is owned by LaRaza Development Corp. AND MARCUS AGUILAR AND HIS WIFE, MINNIE FERGUSON are on TITLE!!! I sent the info to Doug McIntyre, but I don't know how far he took it. I'm just the messenger.
Why should taxpayers fund this RAZA school??? They should be funded by La Raza, and NOT LAUSD! It's a huge scam!

Nearly everytime I hear stuff like "they had the goods, but someone with connections snuffed the expose" I know for sure it was ALL fluff and BS.
If it was real "goods" someone would have covered it, Mayoral connections or not. There are any number of media and law enforcement outlets beholden to no one who will print or broadcast this stuff -- if it's REAL. They usually do look into it, and find out its not, but the conspiracy nutjobs just keep spouting their disproven dirt.
(THERE'S A COVER-UP, YOU KNOW, BARACK OBAMA REALLY IS A MUSLIM TRAINED IN A TERRORIST SCHOOL!)
pfffftttt
It's just always BS hyperbole from the people who think their interpretation of some rule or regulation has been violated, creating = "the goods."
If the goods were that "good" and someone in a position of authority - even a tiny but of authority - had usurped it, we'd know by now.
Rest assured, "the goods" were just "bads" gossip.

All the hyperbole you want to talk about doesn't change the direction that the school takes, and that stands all on its own, no McIntyre, no investigation, nothing else, all on it's own.

Divorce and adultery do not result in excommunication.
Excommunication happens if the mayor remarries without getting his first marriage annulled.

The REAL old Republican mayor and his cronies engineered LA's involvement in Palmdale Airport by buying up 17,000 acres of land so they and the city could eventually profit from the anticipated development of the Antelope Valley and expansion of that airport.
So what is the current imaginary blogging old Republican mayor doing to make Palmdale Airport a viable reality? Mentioning it in the blog once every few months? Have he ever ridden Antonovich's publicly-subsidized shuttle bus to that airport from Santa Clarita and flown to SF from Palmdale? Has he put his fat ass where his mouth (and keyboard) is?
In this case it's time for people to "fly it like they whine it," or else don't be surprised if the whole thing comes crashing down by the end of the year when the federal subsidy that keeps United flying from Palmdale runs out.
