The Mini Mayor has chosen a superintendent for his mini school district. Once again he turns to San Diego to find a bureaucrat, this one, Angela Bass, an administrator in the San Diego schools has long personal ties to the superintendent of the big school district, Admiral David Brewer.NBC Universal has big plans for their property - which means they need the support of politicians and the community. So why are they not playing ball and supporting the LA River Bikeway? They don't have to, but they should.
The LA County Republicans once again prove they're expert at eating their own. And continue to further relegate themselves to a permanent minority status.
Some geniuses in City Hall thought it might be a good idea to implement toll roads going into LAX. However, other bureaucrats and even a few Clowncilmen find it to be a really dumb idea.

Mayor Sam there's controversey in those superintendent hirings out of San Diego. A staffer in SD told the newspapers yesterday they were on loan. Its today's LA Slimes.
I don't remember Mayor Hahn ever being so insecure that he had to be with the Chief everytime there was a press conf. This is why cops hate the gang banger cholo Mayor. He has the nerve to be at the press conf. as if his little ass had anything to do with the arrest of the Crips suspect who shot those kids in South LA. WHY was Villaraigosa at the photo op? He has no damn shame. Sabo should give him the poll numbers showing the lowest approval rating ever.
The mayor should go to tijuana to find the superintendent for his mini-school district.
Since the LAUSD is now trying to educate mostly poor illegal aliens from mexico, let's get a person with experience educating mexican kids.
On second thought we should find a mayor for Los Angeles in tijuana, since Los Angeles is looking more amd more like tijuana.
And in a couple of years we can bring in the military to try and remove the mexican drug cartels from Los Angeles, just like tijuana.
Los Angeles will be the pride and joy of America, drug cartels, corrupt politicians, gang capital, murder and mayhem.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Assembly Speaker Fabian Núñez are headed to the two biggest battleground states in the Democratic presidential primary this weekend.
But for very different reasons.

Rice found the city's anti-gang efforts - particularly intervention and prevention programs - are inadequate, with little accountability or coordination.
6:16: Your little mind can't seem to hold too much complexity, so break it down: Greuel is opposing Cardenas' obstruction of Chick's recommendation to consolidate efforts under the Mayor's office. That little B-movie hysterionics session in Council last week, with himself as Chair of Council Ad Hoc Comm. on gangs, was to try to usurp Chick's announcement the next day.
Greuel IS supporting Chick's and Rice's recommendations, dum-dum, to have accountability. We may not think the Mayor personally is the most credible when it comes to gang fighting, and Carr admits he's been learning the different hoods all this time, but the point is to have one place where "the buck stops," so the kinds of theft you describe can't happen again unnoticed.
Now we have some dozen groups that may or may not work, and some haven't been reviewed in a decade. Cardenas wants status quo, Gruel, Rice and Chick don't. They and the Mayor are supported by Bratton, the Governator and Baca, so Cardenas is all alone.
(Rice wants a billion bucks for "her" gang interventions, so the only thing she's useful at, is concurring that there's been waste in the past and we need to see where our taxes are going NOW before approving more.)
About more taxes: hilarious that Janice Hahn was encouraging Cardenas in the Council when he was crying and lobbying for more money for HIS committee, and then her big bushy head was right behind the Mayor and Bratton and Chick at THEIR press conference the next day. Be careful: that woman is playing both sides of the fence to try to push "her" parcel/ property tax for gangs under HER leadership.
Hahn admits she has no plan any more than Cardenas, other than the status quo, but assures us we can trust her to do the right thing.
Dump Hahn, Cardenas and all these poseurs -- give the job to Bratton, Baca UNDER the Mayor's office. Carr might even be useful if he works under their umbrella. AND get Arnold to follow through with state help.
The point is THERE HAS TO BE ACCOUNTABILITY and from what I've heard Cardenas is the only one with policy that gets it. Hahn is an idiot, Greusome is an Antonio groupie, and Chick is pandering again to the Mayor and kissing his ass saying give all control to him. HELLOOOOOO Antonio couldn't find one person in this city that could be the gang czar with experience??? He brought it a moron who doesn't know the city, doesn't know where the gangs are and has no clue how to do his job yet he's making over $100,000. Cops can't stand the cholo mayor and people are suppose to trust him with our tax dollars that he gives to people like the other gang banger lover Father Boyle. He got $600,000 yet doesn't even have gang intervention people on staff. WHERE THE HELL IS THE OUTRAGE AND WHY AREN'T THE NEWSPAPERS REPORTING THAT STORY??
